Update: The owner reached out to me and talked to me about my concerns. A tech came out to clean the outdoor AC unit again and it looks a lot better now. I appreciated the communication and the redone work.

Since the time I bought the yearly membership last year they doubled their price of the two yearly tuneups. Way too expensive now. They came out to do the AC tuneup and I had them clean out all the debris from the outdoor AC unit (an additional $260) and the unit still had debris and spider webs in it after they cleaned it. Probably won’t affect performance but for that kind of price I would expect the unit to be clean. Didn’t renew my membership, doesn’t seem worth it.

My heating went out recently and I decided to contact Method Air to fix it. Rory was very friendly and made sure he knew exactly what my concerns and problems were regarding my heating system. He was thorough in checking everything to see what could be causing the problem. He gave me frequent updates about the progress he was making and informed of what he thought the issues were. When it came time to pay, he laid out exactly how much everything would cost and assured me this should fix the problems that my system was having. I'm very grateful to Rory and Method Air for their exceptional service! I will be sure to use them again if I run into any more issues.

We had a great service experience with Rory. Learned a lot too and will definitely get future services from this company. And he even wore shoe covers! Couldn’t have been a nicer and easier process. Very professional and the work was top notch.

Technician was polite; I approved the repair upfront.
Charged $350 ($159 diagnostic + labor) for a $10 thermocouple that takes 15 minutes to replace on an old wall furnace. Unit still doesn't work and I have no diagnostic on what's actually wrong.
After that simple fix didn't work, they demanded more money and pushed a new unit.
Going with another company. Local Draper shops (The HVAC Guys, Aire Serv) waive diagnostic fees if repair proceeds. This company does not.

Leo was great! Was very friendly and found the problem right away. Was not pushy and explained what other things we should do to make our air conditioner more efficient. I never felt pressured and took his recommendations. In the end it was a fair price and what we were expecting. We signed up for the maintenance program. Thank you for your help!

Method Air is a great company to work with. I recently had my furnaces and AC units replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Merl and Wyatt did an awesome job from start to finish. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in detail, especially since we added a few new features like a home humidifier and air filtration system. It’s clear they’re both experts at what they do, and their attention to detail really shows. I’m very happy with the work they did and looking forward to enjoying my new system!

Rory stopped by to do a service check on my furnace, he was knowledgeable and very professional. He explained and showed me the different options I had for replacing or repairing my furnace. I was very pleased with his work.
Carter came by today to replace a capacitor and do some cleaning. He did a great job, he was courteous and professional. This review will be for two different technicians working on my furnace two different days. I’ll definitely use Method Air again for my HVAC needs.

I am editing this review. I like to leave good reviews for techs that are courteous, which my first two techs were. But, they were basically useless. I'm not sure who installed my HVAC system to begin with, but since method was sent out to clean it under the builder warranty, I assume it was Method who installed the HVAC. There has been insulation blowing through our house, as well as knocking and rumbling coming from the vents.
We've also found garbage blowing through the vents.

I'm pretty disappointed, because if I wasn't nitpicky, I never would have called about these things.

Recently, Method sent out someone (under the builder warranty) named Jake. Jake was absolutely phenomenal. Took apart my blower and noticed that there were electrical connections barely connected, and we found insulation and a granola bar wrapper (from the original installation) in the blower.

After he cleaned that out, it's been perfect ever since.

This is a review for Jake - not Method. Method has consistently dropped the ball in our case. It's clear that the first two visits they were not interested in fixing our problems or taking ownership. It's unfortunate that it takes a 3rd visit and my continuous complaints to the warranty department for them to send out an expert and get things taken care of.

10/10 would recommend and absolutely use them again. They were responsive, upfront, and great at communicating from start to finish. Bradley came out the same day I called (even though it was the day after New Year’s), which was hugely appreciated. He made me feel safe and comfortable in my home, was efficient and on top of everything, and was also great to talk to. Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I wanted to write another review about the technician Colton. He’s a good guy and did a great job trying to resolve my concerns. Even though I didn’t agree with the process beforehand, and had a misunderstanding with Method. I’m not the type that wants to dwell on the negative. I thought Colton did his best for being in a tough situation, and made the most of it. I can also appreciate how fast they got out to help me when I was really worried about a big leak we had, not related to their installation. I took down my other review so that I can highlight the positive I saw with Method Air.

If I could give a 10 Star review, I would. Jake was hands down one of the best techs I have ever had to work with. We are in a new build so I have been dealing with a lot of different people. He made me feel very safe and helped ensure that the gas smell we were smelling was not a leak and checked every pipe for us to make sure our family is safe. I also had a super positive experience with calling in and interacting with the main office. I was able to be seen same day and got everything rolling quickly. I cant thank you guys enough for all your help and kindness today.

Our furnace stopped working and since Method Air installed it 20 years ago, I called them to look at it. Unfortunately, after the technician spent a long time trying to figure out the issue and trying everything possible (including phoning a friend), the conclusion was that it was going to likely cost a lot to fix so we elected to just replace it. The technician was personable and considerate, arrived when expected and we didn't have to wait long to get an appointment. Two different technicians came to install the new system a couple days later and they were also great to work with. Being retired, I was able to "supervise" the installation and they were great at answering questions and keeping me informed on the progress. I was very pleased with their work and feel that price I paid was fair.

Carter was awesome! Super easy going and fun to talk to, but also knowledgeable! He came by to do a tuneup on my furnace and found that there was a bunch of insulation in the coils. My basement was recently finished. He pulled out his live camera and showed me and also the running temperature being too high.
He came back a couple days later to disassemble and clean which made the running temp 20 degrees cooler. Most importantly because of our first interaction, I trusted him enough to let him in my home while I wasn’t there to begin the job. Real stand up guy, honest and kind, and knows his stuff! Thanks Carter!

Method Air was fantastic! Big shoutout to Carter and Wyatt, who came out and fixed my exterior vents incredibly fast and for half the price of their competitors. Their service was professional, efficient, and high-quality from start to finish. I’m really impressed and will definitely be using Method Air again in the future. Highly recommend!
