I have been using cold tech as my service company at my stores for years. They provide excellent response times and always repair my problems. Highly recommended.

The best HVAC and refrigeration contractor in Utah. Quick to respond, honest in the diagnosis, and fair price to repair. Thanks to Byrus for his hard work in replacing our compressor, he is a great tech. Also thanks to Mark and JD for taking such good care of us. I highly recommend Cold-Tech. Theres a reason you see them all over town, they are one of the few trusted contractors. Thanks again guys!

They ran the stop sign on a busy road and I almost hit them. Then they proceed to laugh at me as I passed. Sounds like a great company…. not

We had this company install a $15,000 walk in refrigerator at our restaurant. The fan inside the refrigerator was making a lot of noise but the technician said it would be okay. Within a few weeks the refrigerator started to fail and the temperature was rising to a dangerous level. They came out and fixed it but charged us over $450.00 dollars for labor. This was brand new and should have been corrected when they installed it or at least taken care of by Cold Tech because they are the ones that sold it to us, installed it and didn’t do anything when we told them about the noise on day one. If you can’t back up your work than you don’t deserve good reviews.

If you’re going to have road rage don’t show it in your work truck. Whoever was driving northbound around 7pm 9/30/2024 needs to not be allowed to drive that vehicle. I will never use the company because of how he was driving and also how he would tail multiple cars, flash his brights, passing on the right side going close to 90mph if not more. We’re all in traffic and we all wanna get home I get it. I should’ve called the cops but this is less of a headache for everyone to just hop on and review this company. Have the day y’all deserve.

Awesome team from top to bottom. They actually answer the phone when you call, have service professionals who can diagnose the issues you have, and are honest and open with communication. If there's a mistake, they make it right. Best commercial HVAC & Refrigeration company in the area!

Don’t drive your work truck and have bad road rage and etiquette on the road. Tailgating, swerving in and out of lanes, flashing headlights, etc. Whoever was driving on the I-15 in Utah in the Chevy White Van (License Plate H01 6HJ) needs to be fired. Seems like i’m not the only one whose family almost crashed from this person. If their driving is this bad, I promise you their service is worse.

My furnace needed to be replaced after less than 3 years because the condenser hose was installed wrong. Method would not warranty it and wanted to charge me $5,000 to fix their mistake. They wouldn’t even do the $200 diagnostic for free.

Carter is great! Awesome guy, good to talk to, and he gets things done quickly. Would definitely ask for him to fix my AC if it ever needs it again.

Rory did a great job on getting our heat back up and running on a cold winter Sunday, 10/10 recommend and highly appriviated! Thank you!

My technician Carter was outstanding. Very thorough and despite some unexpected challenges, he worked through them to make sure the job was done right.

Jake (I believe was his name) came to fix my furnace. He knew exactly what was wrong, gave me lots of information, and fixed the issue. He did a great job!

I had a few different projects needed for my home. I’m getting ready for a kitchen remodel, and they came and moved a vent out of a cabinet and installed in a different place. Also resolved a low performing vent, and another vent that wasn’t giving any air flow at all. They also got a new dryer vent installed up and out through my roof. The installer was fast, and responsive to my needs, got the work done quickly and cleaned up all the mess from my insulation that fell. The estimator was also very responsive and on time. He even waited an additional 10 minutes at my house while I was driving home. Friendly and professional, great referral I was given. Definitely call them for your next hvac project.

I have done a lot of work with method air over the years, they have always been professional and pricing has always been fair. They have installed new furnace and AC units, they have installed heat pumps. They have even done some home efficiency improvements for me with their duct cleaning and duct seal. I highly recommend Method Air!

Updated 11/20/23 --- From 1 Star to 4 stars. One of the owners reached out and we had a great conversation. There is the letter of the law and the sprit of the law. He apologized and let me know that they would be doing the right thing. He also made it a coaching experience for his company and displayed great attributes of a leader. Hate to be the one to complain but Thank you for coming back and going the extra mile so I can now finish my wall in the basement without a hose running through it :) This company is in a lot better hands than I first thought.

Low Quality work, if they screw up and do something wrong they will admit to it and then say “well it works even though it wasn’t done correctly, you can pay for us to come do it how we should have done it the first time though” I moved into a new home that utilize method airs services. Method air installed two different type of air conditioning units side-by-side at our house and then when they ran the internal lines, they ran it through the framing instead of over it like every other home in the neighborhood. This isn’t an issue if you do not want to ever finish your basement, but it’s kind of hard if you are planning on putting up your walls with a line running through it. When I ask them to come, please fix it they said they would not even though it wasn’t done correctly it’s still works. That’s like being handed hamburger from Wendy’s saying all the ingredients are in the bag but they’re not put together correctly. Sure you’ll get fed with the same things but it wasn’t done in the right order. Spoke with three different members of method air. Each of them said Word for Word “it wasn’t done correctly but it works so we won’t come back and fix it unless we charge you a fee.” The supervisor I spoke with on the phone even went as far to say it doesn’t matter where the air conditioning line goes in the house as long as it works even if it goes waist height Across the wall in the air to the other wall. I have the phone call recorded.

It’s a shame that a company that claims integrity and good customer service service is not willing to do the right thing and admit when someone has done wrong. All the other homes have the conduit put in the correct place with all the other lines. They refuse to make up for their mistake. Don’t trust Method Air if you want quality work, they will nickel and dime you, screw up, blame you, and charge you again. You are warned.

    Low Marks for Method air.

Rory was most professional in his approach to our A/C issues and resolved them , so that we are once again able to sleep cooler! The most appreciative thing was his knowledge of what needed to be repaired instead of trying to have us just replace the entire compressor unit. I would recommend them to anyone ( and ask for Rory, if he’s available!)
