We have been using Action Lawn and Yard for 3 years now and I highly recommend them for weed care! Love how professional and responsive they are. Our lawn has never looked better, which is a feat for two beginners. Thanks to James and the team!

I have worked with Craig and James for about 2 years now. I have been very happy with their responsiveness and help over the years. They are great to work with and haven’t hesitated recommending them to neighbors on my street (who are clients now also) they do great work and are easy to get a hold of and great to get back to me in a timely manner. Nothing but great things from Action.

Craig and James are great at what they do! They have fantastic communication and if ever I have a problem arise they are quick to send someone out and get it fixed. I currently have them fertilize my lawns and attend to my sprinklers and my neighbors always compliment how nice the lawn looks! I have used them many years and continue to refer people I know to them!

I began using Action Yard & Lawn in 2014 and I have never been disappointed with their service. Craig & James are great to work with and I count on them to really take care of my lawn, sprinkler system, aeration, fertilizing, and so on. We’ve been using Action Lawn for 5 years now. They’re great! They do our mowing and trimming- a whole crew of guys show up and do the whole thing in about 20 minutes! They also do our fall cleanup and some spring and summer prep/weeding as necessary. They even do our lawn maintenance such as aerating and fertilizing. They are a great company. Very reliable and full service.

This is a great crew to work with! They handle everything in your yard, even snow removal. Ive been using them for years and refer them to my many clients on a constant basis.

Action Lawn and Yard is a great company. The crew that worked on my front yard was wonderful. They were friendly, listened to what I wanted, and did extra work that I didn't think about. The charges were comparable to what other yard maintenance crews were quoting,. They have me scheduled for the sprinkler turn-on and off and have kept in touch to let me know they haven't forgotten about me. They also offer other services that I don't need at this time, but when I do, I'll be calling them.

They did an amazing job on my yard! I was in a bind and needed my leaves cleaned up before the first snow storm in December. I called last minute with literally hours to spare before the snow hit. They arrived right away and cleared up the leaves from every part of the yard. Literally every part! It looked so good. They were fast and at an awesome price. I will always use them for my yard needs and will continue recommend them to anyone.

This is an AITA kind of post. If after reading this you think I am or that I'm just being unreasonable, keep it to yourself. I am simply posting this as a warning for others who may want to utilize their services. And away we go! I used this lawn care service back in June for a one-time mow since I was moving and needed it done quickly. After calling multiple times (which probably should have been a red flag), I finally got in touch with someone to make an appointment. I made an appointment for that Saturday. I wait all day Saturday and no one shows up. No one even bothered to call or message me to inform me they would not be able to cut my yard. I give them until Monday afternoon and call again. I had to leave a message, and still, no one ever returned my call. At that point, I just figured no one was coming at all. Wednesday rolls around and here comes Action Lawn and Yard bright and early. No warning, no call, no message. They didn't even bother to come to the door to say anything. It was literally a cut and run. As of today, it is September 18 and the first day I received a call from them asking me to pay them an unknown amount of money. Mind you, I never received a call, text, or even an email with an invoice until I asked for one today. I explained this to them and told them I was willing to pay if they took off $40 from the total. I don't feel that was completely unreasonable considering the aforementioned situation. Even with them admitting they dropped the ball throughout this whole ordeal, they are still wanting me to pay the full amount. They even had the audacity to tell me that I could have cancelled since they didn't show up on my scheduled day. I had to laugh at that because not only did I obviously still need my yard cut, but since they don't bother answering the phone or returning calls, that seemed a little counterintuitive. Now that my rant is over, I hope they decide to work something reasonable out with me, because again, I'm willing to pay, but it will need to be a discounted amount. I wish this company nothing but success but this has just been bad business on their part.

I'd like to add that while this company is trying to save face by trying to speak untruths, I'll set the record straight once and for all. No voicemail was ever left to apologize, which if it was I would have stated that. I have no dog in this hunt to make up anything, as it isn't in my character to do so. I have proof that the only call I received was today and that the first voicemail, was also today. As for having the wrong email, they claim to have called me (which they didn't), so why didn't they clarify that then? As for their latest message, why would they agree to cut me a deal at $170 if I took the review down, if they did nothing wrong? It seems as though this business has done this in the past in order to continue to conduct less than savory business. If they want to play this game, I'm more than happy to play, as I am competitive and enjoy winning. I also keep my receipts and can provide screenshots of all messages and the lack of voicemails that they claim to have left, as I never delete anything.

I would highly recommend Action Lawn and Yard!!
They came promptly and gave us a bid on a Monday knowing we needed the job done quickly. That Thursday they were there early and had the job fully completed by end of day.

Stop looking and hire them. They are dependable, friendly and hard workers. I have used Action the last few years they take care of our entire yard from landscaping to mowing. I can't say enough good things about them.

Great locally owned company! I have been using Action Lawn and Yard for 5 years now and they are fantastic. I tried 4 other lawn services before them and was always dissatisfied. I use action for lawn treatments, care of my entire sprinkler system, weekly lawn service and fall cleanup. They respond within 24 hours for any sprinkler or plumbing problem and are responsible with my two dogs who are usually outside. I never give 5 star reviews , but this company deserves it.

My husband and I always do a lot of research and get multiple bids anytime we need any work done concerning our house. So when it came to lawn care and weed control Action Lawn and Yard was the best choice on paper and after using them for a season we were very happy with the results. They did a quality job, they always gave us ample notice of when they would do treatments and if they needed to change due to weather. James and Craig are pleasant to work with and respond quickly to any calls, texts or emails. Definitely a great choice!

I was in a bad position with my lawn care company and James took the time to do a full review, and he gave very thorough, helpful advice. He is clearly educated in what he does and he gave me his time expecting nothing in return. This would be a great, reputable, local company to trust with your yard!

Have been using them for years. Good value quality and work. Take good care of my sprinkler system. Good landscaping, always responsive when we have issues. Would give them 5 stars if they had online payments, currently have to mail checks in like it’s the 1990s. They do good work so I put up with the archaic billing system. At least they’ve started sending invoices by email.

Update: yes they indeed moved to automated billing which is great!

They provide excellent yard care. I have used their fertilizing service and in the last couple of months, have used their mowing service because I could no longer do it. I have been so pleased with both services. My lawn looks great.

We had them clean up our flowerbeds and install rock and mulch, they also fixed broken drip line. They did an awesome job! They communicated with us frequently to make sure our vision was met, Armando the team lead was a perfectionist and made sure it was done right! They worked hard and cleaned up like they were never here! The crew chief was nice and cooperative and made sure we were happy with every step! Price was what we expected. We Highly recommend this company. Thanks for a great job! ( Armando needs a raise!)

A crew came for a hour ready to work. When they had finished what I had them come to do, they kept going and did much more until my time was up. I am impressed with their work effort. People coming to my house comment on how good it looks. It feels good too.

I was on Zach's route today and I had a chance to speak with him before he left, and he said I had one of the top five lawns of all the lawns he sees. Zach does an amazing job making sure that the treatments I've contracted with Action Lawn and Yard are properly applied and he answers all my questions about how to take care of my lawn after each treatment. I am very happy with Zach's service and the care and attention he puts into his work.
