Rollins just completed a large (`1/3 acre) project at our home to remove the existing outdated sprinkler system and old lawn and replace it with a new, high grade sprinkler system, new top soil and new sod. Their crew worked steadily and fairly quickly to complete the project in spite of the very wet Spring we had to contend with. I was impressed with the crew's work ethic and skill. It was a pleasure to work with a professional outfit that knew what they were doing and did it well. I have no reservations about recommending them to anyone who wants the job done competently with excellent results.

We had Rollins do a major landscaping project last summer with a bunch of drip lines and plants added to our yard. We used them again today when we realized recently that we hadn’t winterized correctly. They were very helpful, professional, and very prompt. Highly recommend and will certainly use again when we do the back yard.

They will charge you $250 to come give you an on-site quote. Hard pass.

This type of practice gives a business the opportunity to give you an incredibly inflated quote if they don't want your job (or are too busy to take it) to make $250 for a quick house visit and some less-than-detailed templated paperwork. Red flag.

They answered my call right away and and gave me a quote over the phone with my pictures. They even were able to come out a day before the service date and Darren called before he came out. Super responsive and professional. I highly recommend Rollins. Rare nowadays to have to company like Rollins and Darren. Thank you

I'm reviewing the initial phone call and customer service of Rollins.
The lady I spoke with was very pleasant and good to talk with. However, she mentioned the charge of $110 just to get a quote, especially when I live 1 mile away from their office. With most other landscaping contractors willing to give quotes for free, I decided to look elsewhere.
I'd imagine they do great work, as from the reviews, but I'm not willing to pay the premium just to get a simple quote.

I have two regrets: 1. calling this company and 2. not just telling them to leave when they showed up late and unprepared. I called Rollins Landscaping and specifically asked if they could come and blow out the sprinkler system at my house. They said that they would do it for $250. I made an appointment and they assured me that they would be there first thing at 8:30 am on the specified date. They showed up 2 hours late with no compressor to blow out the system saying that they didn't need to do that. The person spent 10 minutes at my house opening the valves, which is something I already knew how to do, and when I called the company the person on the phone said " I will just charge you $200." It was a $200 waste.

Called Rollins because we just bought a house and had no idea how to work the sprinkler system. After a small scheduling issue Rollins sent someone out within an hour of me calling. He not only walked us through how to turn up and winterize our sprinkler system, but also repaired a broken sprinkler head which had been leaking and could have been a much larger issue if not caught early. Rollins is thorough, honest, and I will definitely be calling them again for future sprinkler or landscaping needs.

I’ll caveat this with the fact that I’m frustrated with the price. A $200 minimum seemed reasonable after I was assured that they could re-thread galvanized pipe. That was not the truth. All in I spent $600 on replacing a stop and waste that I had already dug out. Darin was talented and knowledgeable but I am very frustrated with no invoicing, and overall lack of communication between office staff, and the actual laborers. Getting a $600 bill on my credit card and not having any idea why is pretty lame. Darren was awesome. I can’t say that I would recommend the business.

After trying two other companies and getting the brushoff (one I had to hound for a month before he finally showed up), Rollins scheduled an appointment within a few days of my first call and came when they said they would. Even being delayed on that rainy day, they gave me a call to notify me and I appreciated the quality of both communication and service. I needed a sprinkler pipe moved so I could plant some trees and they did the job quickly and you could barely see the trench work when they were done. They even cost less than I had anticipated. So impressed. Will definitely call again the next time I need work done.

Rollins was great to work with from start to finish. Darren was especially awesome and worked so hard for us. He was thorough and did a great job. Very professional and knowledgeable. And the pricing was very fair for the amount of work done. We are very pleased customers. Thanks Rollins!

We needed help finding a leak in our sprinkling system. I called and got scheduled for two days later. The next day I got a call that they could come that morning, so ahead of schedule. Our technician was very knowledgable and found the leak within 20 minutes of arriving. He was able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently. He was so worth the money. No matter how handy you might be, sometimes you just need a professional. I highly recommend this company.

Derren was amazing. Can definitely tell he's an expert in his field. Came out and was immediately diagnosing things that were wrong with our irrigation. Was patient with my grandmother taking time to explain the things that were wrong. Didn't try to upsell us on anything. only did what was necessary to fix our current system. Was in and out within an hour. Was very personable, told stories about his dog and shared tips on how to maintain our irrigation. We'll definitely call again when we need help.

My appointment with Rollins was actually about a month or two prior to me posting this review. But my experience was great. I had a leak in my main water line and Rollins was able to identify it, repair it, and they also fixed some faulty wiring with my solenoids in the irrigation valve box. Overall I was very happy with the service I got and will be contacting them for future sprinkler system needs!

We are very impressed with the quality of work that Rollins provided. It did take a little bit for them to come out to do our garden area (it was their busy season, so it's understandable) but it was worth the wait. From the very beginning, we went into their office to talk to Rick, who is very friendly and took the time to listen to our dreams and ideas we had for the garden area. When he sent the quote over, we realized our dreams were too lofty for our budget this year, so Rick worked with us to modify our quote and bring it back down to reality. It took their crew about a day to complete our project of flattening out, demo, add gravel, and fix the irrigation piping and hose bib. It looks amazing... And is obviously better than any DIY project could have ever been. We added the garden boxes ourselves to fit our budget, but Rollins was willing to build garden boxes for us and complete the look. Definitely leave your landscaping projects in the very capable hands of Rollins Landscaping!

Darin Rollins did a fantastic job working on our sprinkler system. He is hard worker and very smart.

I hired Rollins Landscaping the other week for a sprinkler system repair. They sent out Darrin to help me out. Darrin was kind and knowledgeable. However, I had told him and Rollins that the reason I hired them was to fix the sprinklers in our park strip. Darrin took a look in our valve box, but assessed that one of our sprinkler lines was capped off. He also said he doubted there were sprinklers in our park strip, and estimated it would take an entire day to repair.

However, my father in law came out the next day and found the issue was we needed to simply flush air out of the line using the bleed screw. After that he and I were able to find all the buried sprinkler heads and fix the rest of our system in 30 minutes.

I am a bit peeved, since Rollins charges a 2 hour minimum and Darrin only worked for 1 hour and wasn't able to fix our entire system, especially the crucial park strip zone. I called Rollins afterwards and they weren't even willing to refund me for one hour. Will not work with them again for sprinkler repair.
