We had a great experience working with Jeff and Jordan! They were easy to work with and responsive to all of our questions and requests. The team that came to work on our yard were so friendly and I really appreciated how they cleaned up each day before leaving. We were extremely pleased with the quality of work they did and couldn’t be happier with how quickly it was completed. We will definitely be calling Mott’s for our future yard projects!

The Motts team completely rebuilt and upgraded our sprinkler and irrigation system for our front and back yards. They worked hard and did much more than we expected. They included features that we hadn't considered that work really well, including our vegetable garden irrigation. Oscar and his installation team were great to work with!

They are very unprofessional. They are landscaping my neighbor's yard and they leave stuff in my yard. Having my neighbor do construction is annoying as is. I don't need it going into my yard, too. I wish they would be more considerate.

Mott's Landscaping have been tackling a complete redo of our back yard (And front yard in the near future), and my wife and I could not be more pleased. Jeff and his crew were simply tremendous. After working with several other landscaping companies and myriad crews the past few years -- working with Mott's wonderful people is simply a breath of fresh air! Courteous, prompt, hard working - professional in every respect. We absolutely love our new landscaping. The men and women who worked on our project were simply stellar. We are so pleased. Tree, shrub, plant selection was perfect. Paver repair and installation flawless. Just a wonderful representation of what the ideal Landscaping company should be all about. THANK YOU.

Mott's did an AMAZING job re-landscaping my entire backyard. They removed astroturf, and a bunch of rocks, and installed an amazing patio made of pavers, and used matching pavers to create a really nice retaining wall in an L shape that looks impeccable. They also created a nice set of stairs with the pavers.

They installed sod, mulch, flowers, bushes, and a dozen trees to create privacy and a great space in my backyard. They also improved the drainage of my backyard to handle the snow and water we get in Utah. And they did all of this in only two weeks!

Whenever I've had questions or need something, the Mott's team is always quick to respond and helps out ASAP. I will use Mott's for all my projects going forward.

Jeff's team at Mott's was fantastic to work with. Jeff was very knowledgeable and designed a landscape that fit our wishes and dimensions perfectly. We could not be happier with how our backyard looked after their work. From his team's perspective, they were efficient, knowledgeable, and performed the work with no hiccups.

I told Jeff at the beginning of the project that we are looking for a team that we can continue to use in the future, and after the project I told him he has a lifelong customer and advocate. I cannot recommend this team higher for your landscaping needs.

We would highly recommend Mott Landscaping! We had such a positive experience with their crew and the outcome. They did a paver patio for us, some landscaping and also some sprinkler repairs and adjustments. The crew was efficient and open to any adjustments or suggestions we had. They completed everything quickly and we couldn't be more pleased.

Jeff and team did some fairly significant landscaping work for me to improve several areas of my yard. They came when they said they would and I was impressed with Jeff's commitment to getting things right. There were a few persisting irrigation issues and a shrub that didn't survive the planting. Jeff was responsive, replaced the shrub, and was very willing to send his team back until things were resolved.

We hired Mott's Landscaping to remove our front lawn and replace it with xeriscaping, planter boxes and more trees. They did a fantastic job! Jeff arrived at the house within a day or two of sending a request and we had plans from Jordan and a project shortly thereafter. We felt they listened to our ideas and drafted plans based on our vision. The landscape crew was on time, professional and great to work with. Oscar is THE man! He runs an efficient crew and is extremely skilled in placing boulders! We loved working with him. We would use Mott's again - hands down.

Mott's did a great job on their complete overhaul of my backyard. From the day we bought the house, we were never too happy with the yard and finally decided enough was enough. Mott's started from scratch; new sprinklers, new topsoil, sod, flower beds, mulch, shrubs, and trees. Literally the whole package. They did a great job. Their entire crew was great to work with and turned out a great product in a reasonable amount of time (about 6 working days total). Mott's is not the cheapest, but the price was fair for what they did and their customer service was great. While I don't anticipate any problems, I expect Jeff, Jordan, and their crews will take care of us should the need arise.

Mott's did an incredible job on a significant landscaping project in my front yard. They understood exactly what I wanted and used their expertise to design and create something really beautiful (and low maintenance, which is what I wanted). They were creative in re-using some of the things I already had, such as paving stones to make a really cool pathway. They were so quick too--I was amazed how quickly the whole project went. The crew that worked on the project was fantastic! They were so friendly and considerate every time I interacted with them. I could often hear them laughing (and even singing) during the day, which often made me smile and wish I brought that much joy to my work! I highly recommend them for any landscaping project.

When I called Mott’s Landscaping, I had a tall order. I needed a full yard install: sod, fruit trees, shrubs, plants, boulders—the works—and I needed it now. They absolutely delivered! The project was completed in a flash, and the crew was professional, responsive, and incredibly thorough. They didn’t cut corners; they brought my yard to life and I love it! Highly recommend Mott’s if you want it done right—and done fast.

This team did a great cleanup job for us. Our yard was quite overgrown and needed some intense cleanup that I don't have the skill for. I contacted Mott based off of their website and worked up an idea. We started where we could, and the crew that was sent over was fabulous! We had a stump from a previously felled tree removed and a half-dead pear tree removed as well. The team came in, and before I knew it, the tree and stump were removed and ground down. The next crew came in and within a quick amount of time, cleaned out weeds, old growth, trimmed our rose bushes down, removed unattended ivy on our chain link fence, and lots of weeds (thistles, and tall spiky ones that were probably a pain to remove). The team was respectful, professional, and kept on-task. They were appreciative of the water we gave and shade under our umbrella during their lunch break, but other than that, they kept to their job and did a wonderful clean up for us. (I hope to now be able to stay ahead of the growth... time will tell.)

2.5/5 stars. This isn't a scathing rebuke and it is not a glowing endorsement.  It's cautionary.
At first Jeff was responsive and I felt we were on the same page but as soon as I paid a deposit that is where the communication stopped.  The contract is super vague and has few if any specifics about what was discussed and agreed to.  And when I asked to not start till it was ironed out they just ignored that saying "oh, we can do this, it'll be like you want" etc.  There was no plan for the plants/shrubs (which in their contract fine print says costs extra) but not even a verbal description.  I had to ask multiple times for a plant list and when I got it it was vague and didn't actually cover all the plants in the contract.  I had to fight to get any info on what their plan was and finally after multiple calls and texts asking for a conversation about the plan I was sent a line drawing of a "planting plan" that showed only about 5 of the 25 plants contracted on it and those 5 were in the place of existing plants on the site!!  What?!  No clarification on what needed to be changed with existing drip system, one mention of a start date and no responses or updates about what was going on.  I had to email and call multiple times to get attention AT EVERY SINGLE STEP.  Eventually I created a plant plan that was color coded, w/pictures and labels based on the qty of plants from the contract  and THEY DID NOT follow it "we made some adjustments to the plan"  NO, they just put stuff where they wanted.  I said I wanted only pink and purple plants and I got all white and yellow.  Which, to be fair to Mott's they did take out the white and replace with pink but that was what was asked for IN THE BEGINNING.  I didn't insist that they change out the yellow plants.
Issues with plants started immediately because the team didn't get the drip right, they put in hydrangeas that I *repeatedly* in writing and over the phone said I didn't want.  I got the comment  "we've lost money now on your job" which was frustrating!  Mott's planted the wrong plants multiple times, planted plants too close to the house so they had to come back and be moved, didn't correct the existing drip on the initial install that resulted in multiple return trips to address it.  And if the plan I'd createde was followed mulitple trips to move and replace plants would have been fully avoided.  Not cool to blame me that you're not making money.
**TO BE FAIR, Jeff did respond to a squeaky wheel approach and came to address the drip system failures more than once (but made sure to tell me it wasn't their fault even though they were literally there to FIX the drip in the first place and it simply wasn't fixed), and replaced a handful of plants that had died due to that.  So I believe they *want* to make it right but my small job didn't seem to have much appeal or profit.
My experience was full of me having to ask, call, email and text for updates, info, clarifications etc. Basically begging.  But even this morning (2 months on) there are SO MANY WEEDS that have come back even after they spray and say the majority will be gone, several plants are barely surviving because there isn't the right water/drip to them.  I've had to continue hand watering half of the site to save what's limping along.  Today is why I'm putting this out there.  I read reviews and am envous of those 5star customers.  I believe maybe small jobs are not for Mott's
Jeff did take my call a few times but truly I only ever felt like an annoying customer as I'd have to make multiple attempts at contact for everything.  I'd say I got 70% of what I expected and asked for when I had my first meeting.
Buyer beware.

Jeff and Jordan were great work with. Jeff walked the property with us, made good and appropriate recommendations for plant selection and irrigation modifications. The bid came back quickly, was complete and easy to understand. We had other bids that were not as timely or complete so we scheduled with Mott for the following week. Jordan showed up promptly on the day scheduled with our plants for our inspection and approval. The crew showed up shortly thereafter along with their irrigation specialist to walk the job. By the end of the day the project was completed and looked great. Thanks go out to Mario and the crew who were very professional while on site and left the property spotless. Also thanks to Oscar, the irrigation specialist for his cost and water efficiency approach to irrigation. We will have Mott back for future landscaping projects.

We had a great experience working with Mott's to redo our backyard. They were professional, responsive and got everything done so quickly we were so impressed. Oscar, Jesus and their crew were such pros and did an amazing job! Highly recommend these guys, we will be hiring them for all our future landscaping needs.

We tried for quite some time to find a good landscaping company to help us get rid of some of our lawn and redo the sprinkler layout to make our yard more maintainable. Some didn't listen. Many never responded. One claimed to know all about the turf rebate program, and then proceeded to create a design that totally broke that program's rules. Some were simply too busy with other, bigger projects. But not Mott's.

Jeff Mott was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He recommended a capable landscape designer who listened to our ideas and came up with a beautiful and engaging design that would qualify for the turf rebates. We had to change the options a few times to find the right balance for our budget, but Jeff was flexible and helpful through it all. The team worked quickly, and felt wholesome. We had no qualms letting our kids watch and listen while they worked. They cleaned up as well as could be expected each day, and pretty soon the job was done. Jeff came by and talked me through how to maintain and care for the new plants, and I'm feeling confident about my new back yard. It already looks more interesting than it did before--I can't wait to see what it looks like when the plants mature. Thank you, Mott's!

This company did a great job. The owner’s were thorough, organized and responsive. The crew was the Best part. They were totally willing to do whatever I asked or redo things if needed. They worked SO hard For me. They are friendly and love their job and they are all from the same family- 3 generations! The project was expensive but they deserve to be paid well. Their prices were probably comparable to other companies it just costs a lot to have landscaping done.

Tremendous group of people from Jen in the office to the person who prepared our sprinklers for the winter. Their prices are beyond fair for the attention level of purging the water lines. Our neighbors were impressed enough to take down the Mott's name for next year's winter prep. We look forward to using thier other landscape service next year.

Jeff, Jordan and his team did an excellent job with our landscaping project. Their communication was always timely and accurate. Their team who came to work on the yard were professional, courteous and expeditious. I chose this company not only because they came highly recommended but I knew they would complete the job when they said they would. Never did I not feel "in the loop" about what was going on. There were virtually no unexpected delays. I'm truly grateful for their hard work and for my new front lawn! I will be using them again for our backyard project!

Hired Mott's after getting bids from 5 Contractors. Jeff and Jordan were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The job was complex and involved complete xeriscaping of front and back yards. Communication was first rate and they let us know what was happening through all phases of the project. Mott's crews did a marvelous job, and were very conscientious. Working from our designs the final results were better that we envisioned! The cascading waterfall alone made the whole project worth it.
I would recommend Mott's to anyone looking for a landscaper they can trust to do a great job!
