Update: We used to love this company, but unfortunately we will not be using their services anymore as they are giving us estimates that are sometimes double what other companies charge. But what really turned us off to this company is that they are now charging $60 just to give us an estimate, which is very disappointing.

They used to be great! Here’s my review from 3 years ago:
Jon is the best! He’s super professional, friendly and helpful. Everyone else on the team was great too! They did an amazing job on our pipes and for a competitive price too! This company is the best!

These guys are great Tyrell is the best technician I have had the pleasure to work with.
Tyrell has been to my home many times over the past 15 years. If you need someone who takes time and does the job right, this is the place.

Tyrell Wilcock made quick work of a bathroom sewage drain clog late in the day yesterday at a commercial location that I oversee. He showed up 15min before after hour charges took effect which I thought was very honest and respectable. I have no doubt others would milk those few minutes to get into after hour labor rates. But not Tyrell.

Tyrell’s first impression was that we had a large stoppage in the sewer main, but after weighing options we decided to try cleaning a smaller drain to see if that broke up the stoppage. This route worked, saving us time and money.

I highly recommend 1st American Plumbing Heating & Air, and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I was having issues with my old AC. Tyrell from 1st American Plumbing came over... did some trouble shooting and got my AC unit up and running. They are very professional and a great group of guys! Highly recommended.

Jon has been out to our house to service our furnace multiple times and he’s always been so amazing. He’s extremely fair, punctual and informative in every aspect. I would recommend this company to anyone and tell them to ask for Jon!

Jon came out to fix a couple of clogged toilets for us. We just suffered 2 deaths in our family within a week. Just recently, I had a really negative experience with Utah's most popular company, (who advertises very heavily.) I was worried about how we would be treated. Rest assured, I was very happy with the service, and will definitely call them back in the future! Jon was very kind & very professional!

Tyrell Wilcock was fantastic! He did a thorough and great job! Our house is a little older and he went the extra mile to make some special accommodations to ensure our new water heater was installed correctly and works at its best.

I have used 1st American Plumbing, Heating and Air previously and just like before they were quick to schedule my appointment, they are prompt and courteous. I had an issue with a toilet as well as a water pressure problem and they were able to fix both. I would definitely use them again.

Jon has kept my ancient furnace going all winter. And he just repaired my AC unit by replacing the compressor. He’s good at what he does and a very nice guy as well.
The company is great with communication and they are 24 hour as well.

I am so glad I found Matt/1st American from a referral 3 years ago when I needed a new furnace/AC. I had been dishonestly advised and charged by a local name brand company and was looking for someone I felt I could trust. 1st American has been honest and very quick to respond. They explain things in a way I can understand and so I can make an informed decision. They are personable and take quality time to look over everything, not just what was called for. I highly recommend them to anyone needed fast response and honest and good results.

I've utilized them twice now almost a year apart for different issues and their ability to arrive fast and solve the issues quickly and reasonably makes them a wonderful choice.

As we have come to expect from 1st American, their response was quick, installations were done well, and both Jon & Brady were professional and friendly. This is a company I recommend without hesitation. We will continue to use 1st American for our plumbing needs.

I really appreciate the professional service and expertise from Jon, he figured out a way to plumb my island sink and also avoid a bunch of needless drywall repair by going through the floor that we were already working on.

These guys do an incredible job and they are a great value with their pricing. I got bids from multiple businesses and 1st American always comes out on top with value. Their guys are super nice and know their stuff. I'm glad I used them since the last job they did for us was pretty complicated. I have used them at least a few times for many plumbing jobs. As of most recent we had them come out and haul away 2 old water heater tanks and install a new efficient tankless system. We then wanted a soft water system but our house was not configured for one so they had to make some cuts in the ceiling which included reconfiguring and cutting some pipe to install the soft water. Now my mechanical room has a ton of space and looks nice and clean and the new system is awesome.
