I think this is the best place for tour plumbing needs. I think all the local plumbers buy here. They have great pricing and the staff is very knowledgeable. Ty is my go to guy there. He is awesome!

Saturday is worst time to go, even though they don't have near as many customers then. That's because they don't have anyone that has the knowledge to help you with your needs for information. That's because they are not DIY People friendly. They cater to professional plumbers, builders, contractors and other professionals, etc., only, who already know what they need.
It was extremely frustrating with complicated excuses as to why they couldn't get us what we needed to install our tankless water heater.
You have to go on a weekday, when they're loaded down with too many others customers, to get decent help or order anything. My son totally gave up helping me get it installed, he was so upset over the treatment he got. Now i have no choice but to return the item and HOPE I can get my money, (almost a thousand dollars), back. We'd ordered it online.

The south salt lake store is my favorite. Always friendly and it feels like home. When the chaos of the day seems overwhelming I can sit down for a minute and just talk. Shelby rocks. Always nice to see a great smile. Gaylon is the man as well and Amanda is always on the ball.. and a big shout out to Brad an Gabrielle on there awesome service.

I have received exceptional customer service over the last year from Lani at the south Salt Lake office as we have been remodeling our home. I rarely have this kind of experience with such great service. Thank you Lani

Ty is the man! Very knowledgeable and super helpful to make sure we get the proper parts needed for any plumbing project we may have. Store is stocked and well organized.

Absolutely terrible shady practices. They will talk you into the rewards system to make sure you shop there to get "free stuff" but once you save enough points to redeem anything they take away your points that you've been saving up due to their system error with no notice what so ever. Use Ferguson or Peterson or literally any other supply over them they'll get you what you need and set you in the right direction.

We came in to find an insert tub/shower combo for our basement we were finishing. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful in aiding us in selecting. It was an added bonus everything was in stock and was promptly delivered the next day!

By far my favorite standard plumbing to go to. The guys there are super personable and willing to help you get the parts your need for your project. As a service plumber this is my go to place for everything I need. Ask for Ty at the counter he’s great!

We visited today Tuesday July 5th, and definitely this was THE BEST PLACE with really genuine STAFF who are INTERESTED in the customer.
We had visited the one in Center street Orem and the one in American Fork...none of the staff was interested in helping us.
All staff in this location by 3300 ...were very nice.
We're going to stick to this one from now on to buy the products.

Sandra is beyond all doubt the best associate I've worked with out of any and all business locations I've set foot in and transactions I've performed. She is a god sent gift to the world of plumbing, a downright Mozart of bathroom fixtures. I truly cannot recommend anyone with greater confidence than I can her.

This store is great! We have been coming here for years. Ty is very knowledgeable and always eager to figure out your plumbing needs. I would recommend to any and all plumbing companies, contractors, and do it yourselfers to shop at this store

The most unhelpful experience I've ever had at a standard plumbing supply 06/09/23. 945am mdt.
6 employees avoided helping me and the only one that finally started trying to didn't know the store very well; walked up to his manager that just said "we don't have any of those". It's a water filtration system for a fridge line and they literally sell them online and I've bought them here before.

Never shopping here again at this location.

These guys are great! My shower head fell off in my hands and I worried I'd need to hire a plumber to replace the whole thing. Yesterday I took the shower head into Standard Plumbing and Austin was a huge help! I only needed a new hose, which he found for me and took the time to explain how to replace it myself so only $30 out the door! He even gave me great info on how to get the limescale off it so it now looks brand new! I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. :D

Associates name was Russ Zimmerman, was a great help he went above and beyond and got us everything we needed. I wish their was more employees like this man at other establishments thank you Russ and standers plumbing

Standard Plumbing in South Salt Lake is the best location because of the customer service. The company I work for uses Standard Plumbing 99% of the time for parts and equipment. No other Standard Location can beat the quality customer service from Ty and Jesse. Both are eager and willing to help instead of being on their cell phones. They have helped and taught me a lot about the plumbing business.

The staff at standard plumbing have been the best example on how customer service should be all around the nation, Ty Butler has been so helpful he was patient and listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the part I needed and stayed with me until I found it. The calmness and confidence in his face and voice were very soothing to the stress I was feeling in tracking down what I needed. Thank you Ty you are a rockstar!

This is the best standard in the valley. The customer service here is above and beyond, especially from RUSS, and they are always well stocked. If you ever come by this store, make sure to talk to RUSS at the parts counter, and he will always take care of you.

Sandy R. was a wonderful help. Knowledgeable about the products. She took her time to explain / compare brands with us. She then had our Purchase Order put together within 48 hours (with price comparisons) so we knew exactly what things would cost!!

If you need to purchase any plumbing items, Standard Plumbing Supply in South Salt Lake is the place to go and Ty is your go to person at this location. My husband is a plumber and I went to Standard Plumbing to purchase a few gifts for my husbands birthday. I had some ideas in mind as my husband has made mention of a few things but with mom brain I couldn't remember everything. I walked up to the counter and was greeted by Ty who was very friendly and took the time to listen to my rant. Ty knew who my husband was as soon as I mentioned his name. This showed me that he is personable with the customers and makes it a point to remember who you are. He knew precisley what I should purchase and what would be most helpful to my husband. No. He did not try to sell me the most expensive items in the store. He listened to a few ideas that I had from knowing things my husband has mentioned and made the best and most accomodating recommendations. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and his patience. He made sure that I was happy with what I was about to purchase and even offered to spend more time looking for some other things if I wanted something different. Hands down the best customer service I have had in a long time! Thank you Ty!!

This is one of my favorite standard plumbing stores after over a decade as a plumber I'm thankful for this particular branch and how well they have taken care of me and my customers compared to other supply houses. The manager is superb as well as all of the supporting staff do the best that they can! When other stores do the bare minimum these guys go the extra mile
