I am an established customer with Titan (Lavell is excellent), but when I called on 6/22/16 to schedule emergency service for an a/c that stopped working, I was told that they could not come out until the next week. I know it's the busy season for HVAC companies but I was not impressed with Titan's lack of concern for my predicament. I then called Scott Hale and they said they would come out the next day. Although I was able to fix my a/c unit myself (thanks to YouTube and Allred's), I am seriously considering changing a/c companies.

Had Titan Heating and Air come out to our condo to give us an estimate for some work. The first guy who came out didn't feel qualified to give draw up an estimate so he came back a week later with his boss. It has been three weeks sense we called for a bid and no one has sent and email or returned any calls about re-ducting our house.

AC unit has been in place for many years without any work being done that could have possibly caused a leak
AC Annual service performed on May 24, 2019 by a tech from Titan - Cost $110
Tech told me as he was measuring the temperature of the air coming from the register that he was not connecting to the AC unit to check the freon levels - He's the tech I didn't question him (but should have)
August 8, 2019 AC is working when I get home from work around 6pm then stops shortly after
I check and the thermostat says it's on but the compressor is not running. Temp in the house is not up to 78 degrees
Thursday, August 8, 2019 I call Titan to have a tech come back and look at the AC
Told no available appointments until Tuesday, August 13, 2019 so I ask for after hour call - fully knowing there is an extra cost but asked if they would work with me if found to be something the tech should have caught on May 24 to which they agree
Friday August 9, 2019 Titan tech arrives around 7pm
Titan tech checks temperature of freon line going into house and finds it is only about 73 degrees
Titan tech suggests topping off freon - informs me that it's R22 and expensive - I agree to try it
Tech has no R22 on vehicle and has to go to shop to get some
By the time the tech got back the freon line was only at 69 degrees having left the AC running while gone. He explained that it should be in the upper 40s
Tech adds 1/2 lb R22 freon and after several minutes the freon line going into the house is down to 47 degrees
I go ahead and pay the full service call amount of $350 ($215 callout, $45 1/2 hour labor, $90 1/2 lb R22) and ask the tech to have his manager call me Monday
Monday goes by without a call from Titan manager
Tuesday, August 13 I get a call from Titan. Thinking it's the manager calling me I proceed to tell him the above story but then he tells me he is in Sales and calling to setup a quote for a new AC
Huh? I didn't ask to have anyone call me to quote a new AC
I ask to talk to the Service Manager.
    Abbreviated Summary of that conversation:
Talking with the Service Manager I tell him that I felt the initial tech did not fully perform the service I paid for and I'm happy to pay for the freon but feel I should not have to pay for a call out or the after hours call out charge as this issue should have been resolved with the annual AC service on May 24
Service manager tells me that since the AC worked for three months he won't do that
I told him I don't believe the AC lost that much freon in that short of period and that if it had the system must have a leak so why did the tech even offer to put more freon in
I inform him that I planned on buying a new AC in the next couple of years and my sister has it scheduled to have them install a new furnace and that if he won't help out on this I won't be buying a new AC from them and it's not likely my sister will be buying a new furnace from them
He tells me he will look at both tech notes, talk with both techs and call me in the morning
About 5 minutes later he called back and said the first tech doesn't work there anymore so he can't talk to him and that the most he will do is refund the $90 for the freon
I explained that at this point it's more about principle and integrity than money and I didn't feel that was fair and that I'm happy to pay for the freon
He again said that's all he would do
I told him I hoped that the $260 was worth losing at least two customers
Needless to say, I will not be using Titan again. It's very unfortunate because I know other people who have had very good experiences with Titan. However, they also didn't run into issues and this shows me what the Service Manager's integrity really is.
As for the actual cost of R22 - I can buy a 30lb tank of R22 via various vendors for anywhere between $300-$500
That equates to from $10 - just over $16 per pound
Titan is charging $180 per pound
No wonder he's willing to refund the $90 - $70-$80 of that was pure profit.

Titan is an amazing company. Our property has dealt with them on numerous occasions and they go above and beyond the call every time they are here. Ryan the supervisor will go out of his way to take care of his customers as well as any of their techs that I have met. I would refer this company to anyone that has hvac needs.

Titan Heating and Air Conditioning was a pleasure to work with. I used them for a new furnace and AC unit. All communication was stellar throughout the entire process. The pricing was about 10% lower than other bids I received. I would highly recommend and I will use again in the future - if needed.

A Titan van didn't check their blindspot and forced us out of our lane then the driver made a point of flipping *us* off. You know you're dealing with a classy operation when a grown man makes a vulgar hand gesture at a van full of young kids while driving their company car. I certainly wouldn't trust this caliber of person to do work in my home.

These guys are amazing. We had a really complex problem with our air conditioning that required multiple visits, due to ordering parts. They worked with my schedule and called often to check up on it to see if it was still working. They also gave me a pretty good lesson on energy savings and how to really cool down your house effectively. Always respectful, kind and quick.

    I highly recommend these guys!

We lost our air on July 3 with our adult children and our 3 grandkids-Cole SAVED us!!! of course it was the start of the heat wave and he didn't give up ! He got us temporarily up and running until we could get a certain part. We won't use anyone else for our heating/air. This was above and beyond the best service and we will recommend them to all our neighbors and family!! Thanks again, Cole!!!

I've dealt with Titan three times over 4 years. Each time has been the same tech that came out, however I didn't catch his name but he initialed the receipt as BW. Every time he has come out to our house in Woods Cross he's been excellent! Always polite, quick and explains the issues to me and even shows me what he's talking about. I appreciate everything he's done for us and I hope that Titan knows just what an awesome employee they have. Thanks again BW!

I have used Titan for a number of years. I know I can trust them and won't be overcharged or told I need a new furnace when it is a problem that can be fixed. Great customer service and professional repair technicians. Kudos to Justin, one of the technicians, and to Titan's Customer Service Manager!

Never again. I called Titan, to request an install of a cooling unit, since they did the one next door to me and I was told Brandon was who I should to talk to. I called and left messages at least 6 times, they all were apparently ignored except for one, where Brandon said he was too busy and would have one of his other guys handle it. Guess what? He never called either! Big surprise. At least they could have told me up front that they have no time for new customers, instead of wasting 6 weeks of my project schedule.

I don’t know why you would do a job then never go back and let the person know what you did or anything the guy that came to tempurpedic was kinda rude had a key the whole time to get up to the roof made me call security anyway just a strange dude. He just never came back after he went to the roof how did I know if it was fixed it not. You need to give that worker a lesson on customer service and people skills because he has none. It’s like my regional asked me did the heater get fixed I hadn’t known he never came back to tell me like guys really …

Our 23 YO airconditioner pump finally died on us the same day we returned from a week long family vacation during the first week of August. It was 90+ degrees in our home and miserable! We contacted Titan Air and told them about our situation and they sent someone over to have a look the very next morning.

The technician who came out (Todd) checked our ductwork and the size of our home before recommending a system, and even though it's their busiest time of year they were able to adjust their schedule and sent an entire crew to our home and installed an whole new AC system that same afternoon.

The installers were skilled, professional, very polite, and cleaned things up nicely before leaving. All and all a class act.

We are extremely happy with the new Lennox system and Titan's excellent service. It's been years since our place has been so comfortable, and the new AC unit has no problem keeping our house as cool as you please. Even with the 100 degree temperatures we've having now. Thanks guys!

I have had an ongoing issue with my heater for almost a year. I initially made a huge mistake by having Action Plumbing (I will never use Action again) work on it for about 6 months - to no avail. So I called Titan. They sent out Brandon, who has spent many hours and expertise trouble shooting the problem. He has never given up. At one point, I needed a part that was out of state when the heater was not working at all. Todd, the manager, found the part and over-nighted it at his expense so I would not freeze over a cold weekend (Thanks so much Todd!!). When this part still did not do the trick, they found a way to keep me warm until a specialist could come out to assess the problem. I trust them and know they won't give up until the problem is solved for good - without charging me an arm and a leg! Thanks Titan! You have a customer for life!

Moved into a new house and Titan had done both A/C units. First day I needed cold air and it was a little warmer than I’m used too. Called the office and a nice lady had a technician out later that day. Justin was very nice and fixed everything under warranty (1 year full warranty, 5 years on parts). It was a bad little valve was all, but he took the time to test everything on both units and made sure the Freon charge was up to date. Great service, wonderful technician.

I used Main Street Heating and air once at my old house, and this service was a night and day difference.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Our air conditioner stopped cooling with temperatures between 90-100 degrees outside. We originally had a different company come out and they quoted us $600+ to fix the problem. Feeling discouraged, we contacted Titan who worked extra hard to find an appointment time to fit our schedules. The technician was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to inform us of what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. Titan charged only a fraction of what the other company quoted and our air conditioner works great! They now have a customer for life.

No show for appointment with poor excuses!

They told me that I would have to wait 5 days for an appointment. That was cool, as I used them in the past. So I stayed home for 4 hours (their appointment window) but the tech never showed up! When I called the office they told me that they had come and waited at my door for 15 minutes. That was not true, as I was home in my office looking out at the front door. Neither did they call me. Wen I finally called their office they said sorry.

So frustrating! I would find someone else.

As stated from another review, I was also tailgated by a Titan HVAC driver with license plate 4U5MV this morning (December 3, 2024). The driver speeds and weaves in and out of traffic (in the dark no less)! This employee needs to be terminated and the company held accountable for their driver's driving habits!

Surprised by the negative reviews here, which prompted me to share my experiences.

Purchased a home, needed some follow up work through the builder and Titan. Minor issues, all were fixed promptly and with great communication between Titan and our builder. Worked so far with a few ladies in the office, and Cole and Cris. Everyone was great, Cole came out to assess the work that needed to be done. He was nice and helpful each time.

Had a concern with my furnace on Christmas Eve, the worst time ever to have anything go wrong with the cold temperatures too. Cris was responsive and pleasant to work with and learn from. Came out and took care of the issues I was having and provided me further information for future items and maintenance.

I’ll continue to use Titan after the one year warranty is over and through the five year warranty for the furnace. I will gladly pay for labor and parts through this company.

So far, that’s two crucial interactions for a new home owner and I cannot be more pleased and felt it good to share so others know the good experiences with this company.

Highly recommend and I’ll continue using them for HVAC needs.

    Thank you!

Our house starting staying at 80º, and not dropping. So we had one HVAC tech/owner look at our 12 year old system, and tell us we needed to replace it for 10k, the sooner the better. Two family members recommended Titan to us, after years and years of great treatment by them. Titan was able to schedule us same-day due to time of season. So we got a second opinion from Brad, one of Titan's technicians. Brad was extremely thorough, checked our freon unlike the previous tech, and our only issue was needing 1.5lbs of Freon and needing the txv or tvx (?) bulb moved slightly. It was inexpensive, quick, and reassuring to be told that our system is in great shape and has a lot of life left in it. We will continue to use Titan in the future. Thank you, Brad!

I just had Titan service my fireplace and they did an exceptional job!!! Not only did they do a much needed deep clean but they replaced the embers and painted it. Above and Beyond my expectations and it only cost $100. Worth every penny. It looks brand new. Thank you. I’ll be using them again. I only wish I had a before photo.
