Not only did he identify and offer to fix a minor electrical issue (unrelated to our first request for assistance) while he was there, he did so with a smile. Called to get an outlet installed in the garage, I have all the parts except a 50A breaker and 5 feet of copper, should be an easy job with < 1 hr on site. Got the "we don't do quotes over the phone" bit, technician came out after cancelling the first appointment a few days later and quoted $1900 for the work.

Waste of everyone's time to charge the "EV tax" and not give a quote over the phone. Company wasted their time/employee time rolling the truck for a ridiculous quote, disrespected me by wasting 5 days of my time where I could have gone with a different company. I'm happy to pay fair wages for the work to get done properly, this wasn't that.

Lastly, be careful: they list services under different names to appear more "local", avoid Beacon if you get into their system.
