After interviewing numerous contractors, we decided to go with Elite Contractors for our DC bedroom floor addition and bathroom. I was very please with the work ethic of the company and the employees. The organization not only made our dreams of having a bedroom addition come true but they completed all of the work in less than 7 weeks! Even during COVID-19, the workers were very safe. They came in with PPE, were clean and neat and social distanced as much as they could from my family. This was a great experience overall and I will consider Elite for future jobs

Absolutely top endorsement. I am in the military and got back after being away for three years and needed help remodeling the front of our house taking down an old, dilapidated porch and replacing it with a nice portico. We spoke with three other contractors prior to finding Ken Rahim and Elite Contractors. They either blew us off (Zelaya) or came in way over budget. Ken responded immediately to our call and met with us shortly thereafter. We had a good conversation about what we wanted. He LISTENED closely and came back a few days later with a strong proposal. Ken took care of the permits with Fairfax county and was flexible enough and always available to discuss changes as the project progressed. He was at our house nearly every day checking on how things were going and making sure we were happy with his crew. His crew is the secret to success in my opinion. He hires his own people to do 90% of the work. There is none of the standard having to wait for an electrician or a plumber or the painter or days upon days of down time. Progress was made everyday - it was an awesome feeling. The team was at the house every day by 8 am and worked throughout the day. Orli, the team lead, is a master craftsman and wonderful person. They cleaned up at the end of every day which made us and the neighbors happy. The other key for us and another reason for the 5 star review was Ken's personal involvement and accessibility. He truly wants the job done how you want it done while willing to give you his perspective based off of 20 years in the business. Great overall experience, we highly recommend Elite Contractors and will absolutely rely on Ken and ECS the next time we need work done on our house.

I just had my master bathroom remodeled and I wanted to give a great recommendation to Elite Contractors Services Inc. Ken Rahim and his crew have done a beautiful job! They are professional, on time, clean up daily when finished, and have gone above and beyond...even fixing little extra things they saw that had nothing to do with my bathroom. But the main thing I like is that Ken is responsive. If I text or email him, he responds immediately! He also stops by daily to check in. Ken's office/showroom is in Annandale and his wife Ana is the designer/office manger. She is patient and will spend time helping you pick materials and can show you pictures of previous jobs that have used those materials...tiles for example in my case, so you can see how they will look on a finished room.

I had a great experience with Ken and his team! The work I needed done was completed ahead of schedule and with great professionalism! I had two bathrooms and a kitchen remodeled and couldn't be happier with the results. I have recommended Ken and Elite contractors to several of my friends and will use him again in the future!

Elite Contractors Services are professional, courteous and timely. I needed a basement finished within a short period of time. Ken and Ana coordinated the design and kept me informed of all the details. Their crew (not sub-contractors) showed up at 8 am and left a 5 pm, with the work area cleaned everyday. They also finished the basement a week ahead of time and it is gorgeous! I've hired many contractors in the DC area over the last 20 years and Elite is, hands-down, the best. I won't bother looking for anyone else.

We have a historic DC home & chose Elite Contractors to renovate the top floor of our home, which included new ceilings, walls, closets, a new marble master bathroom years ago. Ken & Ana provide excellent service and we have loved the final product for several years now. Over the years, we have not hesitated to reach out to them for additional work and they have continued to provide excellent service, going above and beyond expectations.

I am very picky about my contractors and am often teased about my high expectations. Ken, Ana, and team exceeded them. The did an addition with the kitchen of our dreams, seamlessly blended our old floors with the new ones, installed a new bathtub, custom built an office/desk space. And, all of this in just over two months. Everyone was tidy, polite, and incredibly responsive. Ken was on site every day the guys were working and Orly was a very responsible site manager. I have already had multiple friends ask for their information after seeing the quality work and being wowed at how quickly it was done. It’s been almost four months since they completed the work and we have ZERO complaints. I recommend them without hesitation.

Ken and his team did an absolutely amazing job on our full basement renovation. Elite Contractors provided an extremely competitive quote for our Renovation and stuck to our budget throughout the whole project, despite me making several changes. The quality of the work for all components of this project, to include drywall, paint, bathroom installation, tiling, addition of an exterior door, etc, were all very professionally and cleanly done. The team always adhered to COVID protocols and were very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. If you want your project done right the first time, and with superior customer service, I would recommend Elite Contractors.

We give them five stars. We remodeled our entire house and added a three story addition to the back of our house. They were with us from the beginning to the end from the demolition to the rebuild to the final touches. Ken and Ana run a tight ship and work closely with you on every aspect of the design and construction. They have a team of dedicated workers that have been with them for years who are courteous and hardworking and pay attention to all the details. During the construction, they keep their work site clean and safe. They are very professional and delivered our house in the time frame that they gave us. It was a massive undertaking and they were the perfect team to do it. We are beyond thrilled with their very good work and cannot recommend them enough.

If you are looking for home remodeling and design, look no further than Elite Contracting Services. I do not have enough good things to say about working with Ken and his team. I recently got my basement/man cave finished and it turned out ten times better than I anticipated. Ken was very engaging, straight forward, honest, trustworthy, and enjoyable to work with. He is very experienced and did a phenomenal job of listening to my visions for the design of the basement and turning those visions into reality. Bottom Line Up-front: Yes! I would invite Elite back for a similar, smaller or larger job. | |A little background: Following the accidental flooding of our kitchen, dining and living room area due to a broken hot water valve the PuroFirst emergency services representative suggested Ken’s company; Elite Contractor Services. After this flooding mishap we decided to remodel our 25 year-old bathroom and kitchen. After Ken’s initial home-visit we met with Ken and his partner (his wife Ana) at their Annandale, VA office. While there we were shown samples of bathroom and kitchen tiles, cabinets, counter tops, tile and painted colors and fixtures. Ana then put all these ingredients together in a 3D computer kitchen model we could view at our leisure on our iMac. | |We decided to take a vacation during the week-long remodeling work. Upon our return we found both the bath and kitchen nearly completed – and from what we saw we knew immediately that Ken’s company was both a detail and artistic oriented concern. Plastic covered our furniture and after the work was completed his “clean up” crew did a superb clean-up job. We let him pick some colors and faucet designs and colors. Ken and Ana’s sense of color and design was perfectly coordinated with what we generally suggested. Communications with the firm were constant, clear and timely (calls, text and eMail) and we felt totally at ease is their collective sense of color and design during the remodeling period. And, since we live in a condominium Ken and his crew were responsive to following the guidelines governing use of loading docks, elevators and trash removal. We had our new ketches appliances (stove, microwave and dishwasher) delivered to Ken’s offices. These were then installed in our remodeled kitchen after the older appliance were taken away. | |We could not be happier with the remodeled bathroom and kitchen. There were minor items that required two return visits from his staff. These were scheduled with one simple phone call and the touch-ups were done in less that an hour each time. With our bath and kitchen completely redone ($48K total) Elite Contractors Services, INC. did a fantastic job. Included lots of timely customer service. I heartily recommend this VA firm. Ken (Elite's owner) walked us through the design (with 3D graphics), material selection to completion stage. Timely work, fantastic clean-up. Plus, the firm worked seamlessly with the condo staff and mgt. Angie's List also rated the firm highly.

Since our first contact with Ken and Ana in 2013 we have had occasion to request follow-up visits for minor items. These visits included install new sink incinerator, newer shower head replacement and minor grout work. Ken was quick to arrange for these several visits by his professional staff.

Elite Contractors recently updated our basement for us and did an amazing job! Ken came by every day to check on progress and confirm that the work was progressing as we had expected. Ken estimated a maximum of three weeks to complete the job and they were done in a week and a half! The room is stunning and I can’t say enough about Ken’s professionalism, integrity, flexibility, and willingness to work with our needs. He also provided reasonable advice regarding which design choices are worth the price vs. those where we would not see a good return on our investment. It’s clear that Ken prides himself on his work and his reputation and this was evidenced in the attention to detail while the project was ongoing and in the finished product. It gives me great pleasure to write this review for Elite Contractors Services Inc. Our journey with them began when our dishwasher decided that we needed a kitchen remodel. Our neighbors referred Elite to us and had nothing but great things to say about the work Elite did for them. From the first time I met Ken I knew he was the one who could mend the damage done to our family home.

During our initial visit, I shared my ideas with Ken. Some of the ideas I had could be done, while other ideas Ken advised against as he saw it as nothing more than spending additional money without achieving the results I wanted. It is rare to find a company that will provide this kind of advice.

The contract we signed was based off a payment for completion timeline. For example, the first payment was due upon completion of the demo. This continued throughout the project; payments were not due until milestones were completed. When I asked Ken about this, he said, “It’s not your responsibility to make sure my team gets paid, that’s my responsibility. You will not pay anything to me until your project reaches each of these milestones.”

Elite estimated 3 months to complete our project, but we were finished in 9 weeks. Your project is Elite’s priority and Ken is on site daily ensuring that every detail is perfect! His team is skilled, professional, courteous, respectful, and will not miss a single detail. This also extends to those with whom he sub-contracts.

The other half of this amazing duo is Ana. Ana handles the design and selection of finishes for the project. Ana has a keen eye for choosing the perfect compliments to your desired outcome. She is honest and not afraid to share an opinion which my wife and I truly appreciated. Her knowledge of design, trends, and price points really set her apart from any of her competitors. She will never try to upsell you and when presenting options, all of them are within your budget.

They are phenomenal communicators! Every time my wife and I had a question, they promptly responded. We were never left wondering about anything. I have heard horror stories about other contractors not returning phone calls or emails. This simply does not happen with Ken and Ana. Both of them told us if we ever have questions, do not hesitate to ask them. Even the occasional 8 p.m. question did not go unanswered!

From start to finish, we could not be happier with our new kitchen and dining room. Their team delivered our project on budget, ahead of schedule, and gave our family a kitchen we never thought possible. My wife got her pantry, I got my bar area, and our family got a kitchen that will be a gathering place for friends and family for years to come.

Elite Contractors Services is an excellent business in many respects. The design work done by Ana is the result of carefully listening to the needs of the customer and the delivering a design that matches their budget and desires. The work is done well and the workers are respectful of the customer's home, always leaving an orderly worksite at the end of the day. Even more important, Elite stands by their work. If there are issues needing correction, they are addressed quickly and made right. I found Ken extremely easy to work with and highly ethical in his dealings with me. I would not hesitate to use Elite again or recommend it to friends.

Elite contractors renovated both of my upstairs bathrooms. The initial visit with Ken was great in that I gained a wealth of information needed to make an informed decision. The work was performed timely and the cost was not prohibitive. The outcome was amazing, my bathrooms look stylish and up to date. Elite's work crews were professional in every respect and did not leave my home in a mess. At the end of each day or first thing the next morning, Ken came by to inspect and make sure that everything was done well. Any corrections that were required were done without hesitation. We contracted Elite for a major home addition including bathroom remodels. While our permits were pending, Elite did the bathroom remodels. The process from start to finish was incredible - good communication, on time everyday, good quality workmanship, and all the support we needed to make design decisions. Ken, Ana and their work crews were amazing! I highly recommend them!

They did a partial remodel of our basement, built a wet bar, gym, guest rooms and we are extremely satisfied. Ken, the owner/general manager was extremely responsive and always answered our questions. His crew was very professional and always on time every morning. They stuck to the timeline we agreed upon. The crew was very clean with tidying up the debris before the weekend started and after construction was completed. They did an amazing job! I called Ken as one of my five quotes for a basement bathroom. Some of the reasons I chose Ken over the other four companies were: he was honest and straightforward from the start, clear in how the allowances worked, available to answer my questions, and transparent regarding permitting. The other four companies failed in at least one of those areas, hence choosing Ken’s company. I felt confident in Ken and his team.

I worked with Ana to pick the various fixtures, and she made the process very easy by ordering everything. Riane also assisted with choosing some items so that they met code or worked within the measurements necessary. Both were great and I appreciated their follow up in communications. Excellent communication with contractors is hard to find, so this really helped the process go smoothly.

When the job started, the first thing they did on site was post the permits. This is a small detail but with very large implications. It shows that they do things, even the smallest things, by the book. My basement didn’t even have a rough in, so there were a number of places cutting corners could be really bad down the line, and every day I felt better and better about my choice in companies.

Ken also came to the site each day, something that other companies don’t always do. He was able to answer any questions I had and made sure to listen to the fine details in my overall design choice. His crew was respectful of my property and were pleasant to interact with when I would check in on the work. I have had a bathroom remodel in the past that was essentially the complete opposite, so it was great to feel like my money was well spent all around.

I didn’t have any issues or set backs along the way, and we communicated well about fine detail adjustments like my preference for a different trim type than they installed (which I should have noted this earlier in the process). For those various details, all the way down to the type of light switch I wanted, I let them know and they delivered.

I’m so pleased with the end result - it’s exactly what I had pictured in my mind. I would absolutely choose Ken’s company again for any project and have already recommended them to a friend. Hire them. You won’t regret it.

I never thought I would rave about an experience with a contractor, but this company is exceptional. We were looking for someone to renovate the downstairs. From the moment we called Elite, they have been diligent, hard-working, and responsible. And the work is beautiful. They completely reconstructed the walls to create a hallway, closed off and renovated a bedroom, completely renovated and enlarged the bathroom, completely renovated the kitchen, and added two windows. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and organized. From the first call, he came by when he said he would, and when the work started, he came by regularly to check on the progress and ensure we were happy with the work. He explained everything, talked through the permit process, explained the requirements to ensure that everything was up to code, and gave us a detailed contract which I have never seen from another contractor. The workers came every day, started working at 8am promptly, and worked until 5pm or after. They were polite, respectful, hard-working, and their work was beautiful and sturdy. They did great work that will last for a very long time. And promptly! They completed a complete renovation in less than two months, and the work is absolutely beautiful. Prior to this, we had had only horrible experiences with contractors. This experience was wonderful. We will call them for everything going forward, will certainly use them again, and highly highly recommend.

Our experience working with Elite Contractor Services was fantastic. Ken and his team were professional, responsive, efficient, and conducted great work throughout the duration of our home gut-renovation. The crew showed up at 7am each day, and tidied up the work site before leaving in the evening - a full six days a week. The crew were extremely clean and polite! Ken, who owns the company, checked in with us daily via email, phone, or text - and met with us in person once a week to go over progress and address any of our questions at the site. He was personally involved throughout the project and was a pleasure to work with -- an all-around pleasant, friendly, and wonderful person.

Not only did Ken provide creative ideas and solutions to meet our needs, but he repeatedly and proactively sought out more economical options for some of the required sub contract work - including our roof shingle replacement, and custom doors, for which he got us multiple quotes to review (and we didn't even have to ask!). He never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, and never charged us more than was required. On the few occasions when there was an issue or change required, all we needed to do was email or call Ken, and it would be addressed the next day.

The crew did high quality work from top to bottom - with especially beautiful woodworking skills on our fireplace mantle and staircase. In some areas, Ken and the crew even went above and beyond what we asked for to create beautiful, custom details - and we were incredibly happy with the result.

Ken's wife, Ana, who manages the design side of the company, was also a pleasure to work with. She met with us several times to guide us through our kitchen remodel and created highly realistic 3D renderings to help us visualize our new kitchen and make decisions. She too was very responsive with helping us over email and text any time we had a question about an item for purchase or design element.

The entire gut renovation of our 4-story town home - including replacing all of the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, floors, kitchen, and 4 bathrooms - took just 3 months TOTAL! We couldn't believe how efficiently the crew worked, while also turning out such good work.

We have several friends who have remodeled their homes in recent years and NONE have ever reported a such a positive experience with their GC. Our neighbors, on the other hand, who recommended Elite, had only RAVE reviews. We are so happy with our decision go with Elite and encourage anyone considering hiring them to do so - it was a great experience, and we are extremely happy with our new and improved home.
