Live in an residential building in Rosslyn and they have been contracted to do our grounds. Where to start... They don't do what is stated in the contract. They don't aerate, put down grass seed, do monthly fertilization, trim plants and pick up leaves. Basically they are only good for using old, loud and antique equipment to mow the lawn. They are a fraud company and would never recommend this company. This community will not renew their contract with this so called "premier lawn service ". I have been around good lawn services and this by far is one of the WORST!

I am a resident of Arbor Park in Alexandria, VA and wanted to write a review of McFall and Berry since they have been willing to go the extra mile for me. They have always done a good job maintaining the landscaping in my community but I found it especially helpful that they were willing to take care of my backyard even though that’s not technically part of their contract. I would definitely recommend McFall and Berry to other communities in the Northern VA area.

This company is fairly new to our property. On their first visit they missed significant areas unmowed. Fine. They were new. They were made aware of the issue and it took them 10 days to correct the issue. It's now taken them 2 months to weed our property. Finally, they've begun that process. The employees have no idea what a weed is and what a flower is. They pulled out $20
of HOA approved flowers from seeds and left clover and dandelion. In a positive note, they are fairly regular with regard to mowing the lawn.

Yesterday, I was driving home and this company’s employees were blowing leaves in my community. As I was driving down the road I notice two employees blowing leave further down the road. I slowed down waiting for them to let me pass. One of the employee signal to the other to let me pass. As I started moving, one of the employees took his blower and pushed the leaves toward the front my car and then they both laughed. I had my windows and sunroof open and some of leaves got in. I’m still picking leaves from inside my car. I was so upset at the act but have the employees laugh at my face was absolutely unprofessional.

I called the office and was told that the manager John McFarland would call me and he never did.

I can only assume, management approves their employee’s behavior, they are not to be trusted.

McFall and Berry are experienced, knowledgeable professionals. They have done an excellent job caring for and updating our foundation plantings and trees in our Commons. They are the best we've ever hired !

Don't waste your time and money with this company. Unprofessional and worst landscaping and snow plowing service

I was attacked by one of McFall and Berry's gas leaf blower this morning because I asked him to get debris he blew on my table. He attacked me with the blower and blew my mother's ashtray off the table it broke and he just left it there. I've called the rental office an PG police. I'm a senior citizen and I've taken pictures. If I don't get a name of the person I'll be adding the company's name to the police report.
Not taking this unprofessional behavior anymore. Every time I come home I have to clean my table and chairs off because of these individuals. I've told the office these individuals aren't doing what they're paid to do.

These people service where I live and to say unprofessional and lazy wouldn’t even begin to describe it. They cannot tell a weed from a flower and the worst part when you contact them they say a “manager” will look into it but no reaches out. Great they can go out golfing but forget the customer. They trim the bushes and leave the trash talk about professionals. Save yourself the headache and don’t hire them.

This company provides service for my neighborhood HOA. One of their workers walked up to our deck, was looking around until he saw my family then also went down and started looking through the windows of our basement. My husband stood up and had to make eye contact before the worker walked away.

This company is absolutely pathetic. Their servicing and customer service is rock bottom. I live in the Paul VI neighborhood (a NVR community) and this servicing business is pathetic at landscaping and snow removal. There is not one thing that has made me say “they did a good job”. Beware - do not hire this business. Questions? Just reach out to me. I’d be happy to show their work product. I can not wait for their contract to not be renewed.

The people providing the services are just holding electronic machines and moving their arms around. They have no idea what they’re doing. I wanna say almost weekly to monthly I come outside to my vehicle covered in dirt leaves and other debris because they just turn machines on and then sit there without thinking about damaging anyone else else’s property around, especially in a complex with a homeowners association. They don’t even know how to provide customer service because none of them can speak English, which I don’t fault the individual I fault the company or manager that oversees Montgomery county. They should have a manager on site which they do not ever.

This company was so responsive and helpful. Our animal hospital lost power during a storm when it took down the power lines connected to our building. Dominion Power told us we needed to hire an electric for much of the work and then they could restore the power. We called Belal at 1 am Friday evening. He picked up. We determined that we were ok until morning. He showed up at 7:30 - had it fixed in a few hours. Charged us so reasonably. He made all the repairs, was extremely professional, and completely honest. He will be our electrician for all our future needs.

Vladimir has done several jobs for us: attic ladder installation, ceiling lights, outdoor painting, electrical wiring for our patio, and fixing our leaky hose bibs along with new custom outdoor plumbing. His work has been nothing short of perfect every time. Every job has been flawless and his prices are very competitive. We would not hesitate to call him up again for future work. Do yourself a favor and send him a text...we are always glad we did!

We’ve used Soto Contracting Services on several occasions for flooring, drywall, light fixtures, tiling and painting. He’s fast, reliable and reasonably priced. We’ll be using his services from now on.

Vladmir Soto recently did fence improvement, electric work, door repair, external woodwork and painting for my house. Very professional and timely. Highly recommended and I will use him for my future project.

I was remiss in not writing this review last year when Vladimir assisted in the installation of a new range fan. I needed someone to get the fan connected to the chimney and he stopped by and in about an hour did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. I would recommend him as an honest and trustworthy person based on my experience with him.
