Avanza was amazing! We needed very short notice yard work and they came through with flying colors. They were quick with coming out to give us an affordable estimate. They showed up on time and spent all day on our yard. They did not rush through the process despite us needing yard work quickly for an event. They listened to our vision and it came out better than we expected. Thank you!

They did a BEAUTIFUL job on our very unruly yard. Vines had taken over the shrubbery along our fence so much that I didn't even know how many bushes we had back there. What a joy to come home to a neatly trimmed yard, free of vines and weeds, with mulch in all the right places. They did fabulous work. I highly recommend.

It has been great to work with Noe at Avanza. He worked out a package that has the services we need while still fitting our budget. His crew is courteous and does excellent and efficient work. There is definitely a positive difference in how the property looks since we hired Avanza. Noe is responsive and communicates well with his customers, and we've been very happy with his work. Highly recommend.

I hope they are better at landscaping than they are at plowing snow.

I’m disappointed in the services provided by this company, as well as the lack of communication or CONCERN regarding the disappointment.

Raving fan here. Hard to find a good, consistent crew. Avanza is the best. I've tried probably 5 to 8 yard crews in 8 years living in Arlington. They do several things very, very well. 1) they respect your wishes - we don't like over-edge, and they respect it and make a note of it. (others forget and just destroy the edge 2) they are flexible on services. Many require full service. 3) they come when they say they will come. I love that part. If it's been a week or two and it's Friday - they will be here. We'll be using them for clean up and more throughout the year.

Avanza Landscaping did an amazing job with the seasonal clean-up on our two properties in Arlington! They were super easy to work with, incredibly professional, and delivered a major refresh to one of our properties that made a huge difference. The finished product looks beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We will definitely be hiring them again!

I scheduled an appointment with Avanza, which they initially confirmed. Later that week, they called to reschedule. I let them know that I needed the work done soon and would go with another company instead. Suddenly, they said the original appointment was back on and assured me everything was fine.

I took time off work to be available, only for them to call two hours before the appointment to cancel again due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

If you're looking for a reliable company that values your time, go elsewhere.

I comparison shopped landscaping/root extraction services for a very tough root extraction job. Fortunately for me I selected Avanza thanks to the recommendation of a community manager who got Avanza’s contact information each time they asked for a recommendation from several other community managers. Avanza over and again was praised as tried and true. And now I agree.

I engaged Avanza’s services to extract 9 clusters of fairly large 40 year old deeply entrenched and invasive Privet roots. Those roots started to push up a brick wall and stress cracked a very long brick planter in my patio. Because of the tight space, and the fact that this planter could not be damaged during the extraction, a machine could not be used.

Avanza workers were on time. They are incredibly focused, amazing at problem solving, and relentlessly hard working gentlemen. They started by protecting the area surrounding the job, and except for a brief lunch break, they didn’t let up to the end when they cleaned up my patio to perfection. Also very impressive and appreciated was their positive attitude and good nature.

Avanza, I applaud your company, your office and managerial staff, and your no nonsense knowledgable and skilled workmen. Big thanks to Jazmin who started the ball rolling on this job and responded to every phone call or text, and to Melody who came by early to allay my fears when I questioned not seeing a root grinding machine. She kindly and knowingly assured me that these men were mighty and that this job was nothing new to them. I must say the workmen were terrific with their get-the-job-done (and done well) goal driven work ethic.

Also very important...Avanza's pricing was fair and reasonable.

In brief, Avanza’s workers and staff are worth more than 10 times what I received in results.

We hired Avanza to construct planter boxes required by the county as part of a new pool construction project. The team came in early in the morning to begin work and their craftsmanship was fantastic. There estimate was reasonable and we liked their work so much we decided to retain them for complete landscaping work around the pool. The owner Noel is fantastic and really takes his time to speak to you and had great ideas that saved us time and cost.

Avanza Landscaping has been a fantastic partner for our property. Their customer service is outstanding, and their level of communication is exceptional — always clear, timely, and professional. We had a great experience working with Noe and his team. They installed approx 1000sqft of turf at in our backyard. Their work was thorough and quality and it came out perfect.

Noe came out to the house to talk through the project and was really helpful in understanding what would and would not be beneficial to my specific circumstances. He was knowledgeable and was really helpful in understanding how and when is best to move forward with the project. He communicated the quote very clearly and was always available to answer follow up questions. I would really recommend Avanza to anyone looking for help with landscaping work.

Avanza helped with installing new drainage and doing a major cleanup. The team was very efficient. I’m already planning to go back for help with some additional items (eg., conversion to a native plant garden).

I’m extremely disappointed with this company’s snow removal service. Instead of clearing paths and making our community safer, they pushed large piles of snow into individual paid parking spaces, completely blocking homeowners from being able to park where they pay for a spot. There are unpaid spots the snow could have been moved to. This has caused serious inconvenience and frustration — it’s unacceptable that after paying for parking and HOA dues (which are supposed to cover snow removal in common areas), I’m now unable to use the space I’m entitled to. They told me I could shovel the 20 feet of snow out of my spot myself. Blocking access to paid spots feels thoughtless and shows a total lack of respect for residents. This company’s approach to snow removal has made an already difficult winter even worse. I expected better communication and accountability — unfortunately I got neither.

This year, we decided to undertake a significantly large patio & landscaping project. We clicked with Noe from the start. He came to our first couple meetings with great recommendations and design ideas that were clearly aligned with our vision, and the estimate provided was fair and within the budget we discussed. We selected Avanza after reviewing several other estimates because of their fair prices and Noe’s genuine care/commitment in designing us our dream backyard.

The crew that came out was professional and the quality of their work is top notch. Throughout the process, Noe and his Operations Manager, Emerson, were easy to reach and quick to answer any questions/issues we had. We now have a beautiful, paver patio and path around the house, over 100 ft of block retaining walls, flower wall lattice, new grass and a couple of other beautiful additions to bring it all together. We couldn't be happier with the end result and couldn't have done it without Avanza. Thank you!

Avanza piled mass amounts of snow and ice into our RESERVED and paid parking space after the big snowstorm in January. Three weeks later and the snow and ice is still there, making it impossible to use the only parking space we have. I emailed and called the company, to include the owner, and never got an email or phone call returned.

From the estimate to the work performed to correct my patio was professional and well done.
Moses is a real pro and knows and is knowledgeable. He, Mauricio and Joseph did an outstanding job this week in the bitter cold ❄️ 🥶!!!
