They gave us a quote about 3 weeks ago to put us on the schedule on Wednesday the following week. Never showed or cancelled. When we called they promised to be put on the schedule for the following week again. Same result. Called today and was told the job was cancelled.

Very responsive on estimate. Not so much on actual work. Contracted to trim all dead branches from my big tree. They missed one or more clearly dead branches. I contacted the company a couple of days later but have had no response from them.

The team did a fantastic job! Did it right and cleaned it up so well! Very reasonable in price as well! Will definitely recommend to any friends or family and will be using them again in the future!

They came out and gave me a quote promptly and cut the tree down within the next 3 days. They actually came a day early to cut the tree down. It took them no time at all to cut the tree down and grind the stump. I plan on using them again when I cut down the trees in my backyard.

VERY POOR SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP. Took the order in July 2021. Didn't do the work for 4 weeks. Left pot holes in my yard and my neighbor's. 9 weeks later still have branches caught up in other trees some 12 to 14" in dia. x 10 foot long. Dangerous situation. Will not return phone calls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Owner has POOR ATTITUDE. Estimator lies to get contract. A lot of tree services out there. Save yourself a lot of problems... choose another.

If I could rate Scott Lanes tree services a 10 I would. They are reliable, reasonable, professional and I can go on on and on. I highly recommend them for any tree services you may have. I’ll definitely be using them and referring them to everyone I know

I called on Monday May 18 , they came out same day gave a free estimate and did the tree limb removal on Tuesday May 25. They cleaned up all the mess and I am extremely satisfied with Scott Lane's Tree Service. I recommend them highly.

I specifically hired Mr. Lanes services because he advertised as a tree trimmer. I had a beautiful old oak that was in serious need of trimming. Mr. Lane and his crew came and cleaned out the interior under the canopy. Removed a lot of growth that was coming down into the yard. The tree looks great now. I honestly think the tree is happier.

Had them out a few months ago.I was told owner would be with them. He was not. He finally showed up and left. Had 2 trees trimmed. On 1 they trimmed the top only, not the side. Tree was getting ready to take down my fence so I took off a few branches that I could. This is not an easy task at 70 years old. Called them several times and had appointments for Scott Lane to come out. No one ever showed up. In fact, they were supposed to be here today. Again, no show and no call. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

This company was professional and prompt from the first phone call. They showed up to give an estimate when they said they would and came out the very next week to preform the work. They gave the best price out of four companies that we contacted. They left the yard cleaner then they found it. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future!

I let them know I need 2 trees cut down, one was specifically to widen my driveway. They did a great job cutting the trees down, but the stump grinding was awful. About a month later the driveway company came and could not perform the work because the stump was done so poorly. Tried to reach out to Scott Lane to tell them I need the stump grinded more, but haven’t been able to get In touch for over 2 weeks. Ended up having to hire Another company to do the stumps. Company is horrible at communication. I referred them to my friend too and they set up a date, and never showed up and didn’t call or return my friends phone calls.

Scott and his team are amazing. From the tree clber to the clean up crew. All polite, hardworking. They work in harmony with one another. They helped save my tree that split and not a branch or leaf debris was left on the ground. Very impressive.

An older man came out to my home and gave me a quote the same day. Very affordable, a price I couldn’t deny. After the quote, it took 3 weeks to finally get in contact with someone to schedule an appointment. (First Red Flag) My tree removal date was scheduled 3 weeks in advance. I was told 2 days before my appointment date, they would provide a time. No one ever reached out. (SECOND RED FLAG) The day before my appointment, I messaged and ask if they had a time of arrival. (I took off from work to be present while the work was done at my home) I was told I would need to be rescheduled. (LAST RED FLAG) I gave them a call to reschedule and the two woman I spoke with were extremely rude, and insisted they would give me a call once back in the office. I never received a call to be rescheduled. If I never gave them a call, I might’ve sat around all day awaiting their arrival. Notice and customer service are a huge deal and very simple to give. I should not have to reach out to find out I need to be rescheduled. My time is extremely valuable. Yelp and Angie’s List show other bad experiences similar to mine.

I contacted Scott and had a short time frame to get some tres dropped. He gave me a great quote and 2 days later his team showed up on schedule and got the trees dropped. They were really careful and professional. Great work.

Scott Lanes Tree Service was wonderful! We got a quote and the job was done in less than a week! Super reliable! Communication was on Point!
We also got 2 other quotes from 2 other companies which were extremely over priced and too far booked out.
Scott Lanes was an absolute blessing!

They were the 2nd company I contacted out of 5 companies to give me an estimate to cut down 40 trees. Very responsive on the estimate, I called them on a Monday and Scott showed up Tuesday to give me an estimate, so far so good. After all companies visited my house Scott Lane Tree Service’s out right beat everyone. Once I sign my contract on a Thursday, I was told they would contact me on a Sunday to schedule a time. I never received a call but Miss Utility showed up Monday marking my property. So far I don’t like that I wasn’t contacted but I could see that they were on the job on their end. I only didn’t like the fact I wasn’t contacted so far. Thursday morning at a reasonable time (9am or 10am) I hear chainsaws being fired up and when I walk outside Scott and his right hand man apologize for not scheduling my start day. So I wasn’t as mad and I took it as two guys running a business with no woman in the mix to set these things up. However, within 1 hour they had about 10 trees gone, but it might have been 2 hours honestly. Nevertheless it seemed fast as ever though. By the end of the day I would say they had taken down about 25 trees and cleaned up. However some of the staff left their food trash by mistake, I assume.
Day 2, Friday, they show up and begin working but this day was slower for them because they made sure they were careful because they were close to my house, my neighbor’s fence and my wife’s she shed. They even asked if they could moved the she shed to allow them to be able cut down trees and place the fall in a specific location of their desire. However at 5 o’clock, the end of the shift they left and I didn’t know they were gone for the weekend. My yard was a little messy from some of the workers lunch trash but tree debris was gone. However, I would have like to known they were leaving for the day because they left 2 big trucks and big equipment in my yard and my wife had a surprise graduation dinner for me that Saturday night. Monday it rain and they didn’t show, which is understanding. Tuesday morning around 9 or 10 they came back to work and they finished the job by 2 or 3.
Scott threw in some extras stump grinding and small brush cutting to clear an area where I wanted to build my shed and they even move my wife’s she shed in a desired location of her choice. So even though they didn’t schedule my start date, they made up for it in the end. Great job Scott Lane Tree Service.
