I would like to say they did a good job for me, but they were no-shows for their scheduled appointment. Scott came out and gave me an estimate and I scheduled an appointment. I waited all day at home for them and even called in the afternoon and was ensured they would be there. They never came and didn't even have the courtesy to call to reschedule. The company was a recommendation from Angie's. I hope they see this and don't recommend them again.

We had a dead tree that needed to be removed asap. Scott Lane's Tree Service was quick to give me an estimate and they were able to get the dead tree removed promptly. They were very professional and did an excellent job! I highly recommend them if you need any tree services!

We just had Scott Lane’s Tree Service do a total “restoration” of our property. This included taking down and limbing large trees, conservation work on a large natural area, punning all the shrubbery around the house including six very large Nellie Stevens hollies. Scott was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious and very pleasant to work with. His team are among the hardest working and polite people we have ever done business with. They honored their estimate which was very fair.
Finally, they cleaned up everything before they left—“leave no trace contractors”. Give them a try—you will be glad you did.

We had a large dead tree very close to our house and had Scott Lane Tree Services come give us an estimate as a storm was approaching. They were able to prioritize us due to safety concerns and the schedule worked out for a crew to come out the same day. Everyone at the company was amazing - from the receptionist who took my call and helped schedule the estimate and later arrange payment to John who came out and gave a detailed and straightforward estimate to the crew who were skilled, pleasant, and efficient. They cleaned up so well afterward that if not for the requested pile of logs left behind, it would have been hard to tell they were there. I highly recommend Scott Lane Tree Services!

We were extremely pleased with Scott Lanes Tree Service in all respects. Scott, the estimator, immediately recognized that what we were requesting was not the best way to address the tree trimming that we needed and recommended the best approach including what was best for the tree, how the work would be done and how the limbs would be lowered to the ground without damage to other trees or plants. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and the three man team who came out promptly within a few days completed the work exactly as it was estimated. Their clean-up was complete and impressive. All Scott Lanes Tree Service personnel who we came into contact with were very professional, courteous and showed that they were prepared to do the best job possible. They did not stop until they knew we were happy with their work and they were very easy to work with. We will use them again and highly recommend them for tree services.

Scott Lanes Tree Service was super reasonably priced and got the job done ASAP.

I was referred to them using Angi!  The reviews seemed pretty decent. When they came out and did an estimate, I let them know I did receive other estimates from other companies. They insisted they really wanted my business and wanted to see the other estimates. I showed it to them and they said they would beat it by $200. I was super excited!!

They did show up a couple days later than expected, and the project definitely took longer than projected, (3-5 days projected. 2 weeks for trees, 8 weeks for over all) none of those things honestly bothered me. I mean they were taking down six trees that were well over two stories tall. As far as the tree work goes, they got everything down and did not damage any buildings however definitely left a LOT of ruts in the yard. But I figured that was gonna happen.

What really upset me though is the final details for completing the job like putting my property back together. It took them almost a month to come back to the property and finish the job.

They had to take apart my fence in order to get the crane into the backyard, when they came to put the fence back together, they put it in the ground with concrete 3 inches deeper so now I can’t even latch the gate. I’ve called and texted asking them when can they fix it, they’re now ignoring me.

(The other issues with leaving the property damaged were they moved many brick paths and rebuilt them poorly and I will now have to fix all those as well.)

This guy gets it done! He’s got all the equipment. Everyone knows what their doing. We had many big trees and tight spaces in the back and side yard. No mistakes. Fast. Orderly. Friendly work staff with the kids right in their. We are very happy with their work it was even entertaining to watch. I would highly recommend this company! Also very affordable comparing them to others we had estimates from.

After 2 months waiting because my schedule date was cancel about an emergency, they show up on Friday and after few hours start raining, they stop to went home. Next day they show up and after 1 or 2 hours they leave but this time wasn't raining, they leave because an emergency again. I call Scott because i wasn't home and my wife call me saying that they was cleaning already to leave and he told me, I'm not there right now but i call my people and see what's going on. Well guess what?? He never call me back, he never answered my calls anymore, he never responded my messages that i leave on his office and with some people of his crew. I call his daughter and she start texting with me saying that they didn't know that i want that much cut out of the trees, and at the end she says i call you in Monday, guess what again?? No Call. I show them and explained what i want, they give me a price, 5,000 dollars or 4,700 cash, i gave Scott 5,000 cash regardless of the discount for paying cash, but my BIGGEST mistake was paying in advance thinking that everything will be fine just because i was working all weekend. I will never ask for their service again, and never pay them in advanced.See at the pictures and look for what I pay 5,000 dollars, red line is how far they should go according with the quote.

Excellent work very professional. We have 9 pine trees over 100 ft tall. They cut all limbs that were hanging over the house. A big job done in a timely manner and a good price. Clean up was exceptional. Friendly employees. Highly recommend them.

I purchased a 1/4 cord of firewood on Monday and I asked if the wood was treated and Scott said “yes, you’ve got some good wood here young lady” which wasn’t true at all. My house smells like a bonfire and the wood didn’t burn properly. It did a lot of popping and going out and lighting back up on it’s on. I reached out and got NO RESPONSE at all! I had to open all the windows and doors and spray everything down this morning. The wood don’t even burn right in the firepit. If you buy wood from him please try to burn it before you purchase any!

To say that this tree company is 5 star is an understatement, if I could give more than 5 star, I would. What an incredible job they did on our narrow street! They had a crane, a chip truck, a front loader, a bob cat , a lift and a few other trucks on the street, but that did not even impede the traffic, plenty of room to get by even with the big trucks in the street !
Now that the trees are down and are take away, you can’t even tell that Scott and his crew (which it was impressive) were even there.

Scott’s crew was on our street doing a big job a few houses away so I approached one of the guys who turned out was Scott himself and asked if he could give me an estimate on having a tree removed.
The tree was tall, diseased, and very dead. It was so brittle that every time we had a storm we were picking up branches that had fallen off.
Scott and I worked out a price and agreed that they would do the job on Monday which was 3 days away. On Saturday they knocked on my door and asked if they could do the job today since the forecast was calling for rain on Monday and Tuesday. I had no problem with that and within minutes a crew of 4 guys were in my backyard and throwing ropes. One guy carefully went up the tree and in less than an hour the tree was completely down.
These guys then cut the tree into smaller pieces and carried them out to the truck in front of my house.
Scott’s crew was very professional, they were very skilled, and they cleaned up my yard to the point that all I had was a few shavings from the saw that I picked up with my lawnmower.
I had a few different tree companies come out and Scott Lanes Tree Service beat them all. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A TREE REMOVED.

Brent and his crew were terrific - Brent stayed in touch with me once we decided to remove two trees from my property until we could find a dry weather day. He assured me that they could get the job done in one day ( they did) and that they would take care to minimize any damage to my property in the process of removing a 70 foot pine. Any damage ( fence posts, tire tracks) was repaired/ restored the same day as the removal. I recommend Absolute Tree Surgeons - he and his crew were professional, considerate of my concerns about the impact of removing the tree and responsive to requests made by me.
