I can't recommend these folks enough. I had an issue with my fusebox related to selling my home. It needed to be inspected and determine if it was up-to-code. Wadi came out in 1 hr (no exaggeration) without charging and expediting fee. The electrician documented that my fuse box worked well and then installed some smoke detectors.

The reason I go into this level of detail is that so many contractors would have just told me my fuse box was defective and charged a fortune to fix it. Not these folks. They gave an honest assessment at a fair price.

We had a power outage at our facility after hours, and unfortunately, our backup generator failed due to an unexpected error. I found Wadi through Google Maps, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They were extremely responsive, arriving quickly and resolving the issue in just five minutes. Their expertise and professionalism truly stood out, especially in an urgent situation. I called Wadi Electric this morning with an emergent need to replace an outdoor motion light and our second story foyer lights in preparation for a party that we are having tomorrow evening. They were out here within a couple of hours and meticulously did the work that we asked for. This was the worst experience by far I’ve ever had hiring someone to do work on my house in the 30+ years I’ve been a homeowner. So much so I filed a complaint w/ BBB which they never replied and have also just filed a complaint with Maryland Dept of Labor - State Board of Electricians. While these complaints won’t resolve my issues I don’t want someone else to go thru what I did especially since it’s electricity involved. Some of the issues I had with them that are documented and they said they would take of yet they went MIA. * No permits were obtained even though they were required for some of the work I hired them for. They also didn’t advise me this. I didn’t realize permits were required until after the fact - lesson learned. * A light fixture they said they fixed still doesn’t work - nothing changed. * 1of the ceiling fans installed (replaced existing working one with a new one) doesn’t work. * Damaged hard wood floor in 1 of the rooms they were working in. * New pendant installed in open 2 story foyer is 22” shorter than one I replaced. Yet electrician said it was the same length (ceiling to bottom of fixture) & it was too late since he had already cut the wiring. Plus the Rods are only halfway screwed in. * ‘Patch job’ they did for adding 1 of the ceiling fans where there was no light fixture or fan already. I get drywall isn’t their speciality but I really question why all the mud around ceiling fans base * Has yet to give me a receipt. I paid cash - another lesson learned.. I could go on but this review is too long as it is!

Wadi is consistently amazing. On time the nicest people and they always do a great job. Today we had Khaled and he was fantastic. They hung a bathroom light and fixed another light that was loose. They are professional and nice and very knowledgeable.

Thank you Wadi Electric and Joe for fixing our dryer outlet. After calling around to other companies and being told they needed to first come out and charge a service fee I was lost. Thankfully I contacted all of you, showed you the problem and was given a VERY FAIR quote to fix the issue. Joe informed us when he was on his way, fixed the connection in 30 minutes and we had a much more stable electrical connection for the HE dryer. You are now my go to company for ANY electrical needs and I will STRONGLY recommend your company to other home owners!

They did a great job with my install of a EV charger in my house. Had to make a slight adjustment when they came but they made sure to still complete the installation and was very quick and complete. Would recommend them again.

I called Wadi for an outdoor electrical issue and they were extremely flexible and quick to schedule. Ali came out to help, and he went above and beyond to inspect, diagnose, and fix the problem. Requested switch out of ceiling fan to more modern chandelier light fixture. Quick (next day appointment), efficient, they had all the equipment needed to complete the job (first electrician i asked did not have the proper height ladder and then did not return my calls). The electrician did a clean job, easy to work with. Overall satisfied and would recommend.

I previously had a good experience with Wadi Electric Company. They did a great job installing my ceiling fans with lights, fixing the commercial building lights, and installing surge protection. However, their service has recently declined significantly.

On March 8, 2025, I hired Wadi Electric to install 32 video cameras. They completed the installation by 8 PM and left without connecting the system to the internet or recorder. I paid them in full on the same day, assuming everything was in order. The next day, after setting up the connection, I discovered that six cameras were not working. To make matters worse, they took one of my ladders and left trash and debris everywhere.

I contacted Mr. Wadi on March 9, 2025, sent him pictures of the faulty cameras, and requested the return of my ladder, which I need daily. He assured me that a technician would come on March 10. I waited all day, but by 5 PM, he texted to inform me that the technician wouldn’t be coming.

After March 10, I followed up multiple times. On March 17, he finally admitted that my ladder was in his shop. I told him that if he couldn’t send a technician, he should at least return my ladder.

Today is March 25, and it has been over two weeks since the installation. The six cameras are still not working, and my ladder has yet to be returned.

This has been a frustrating experience and a valuable lesson. I strongly advise against paying in full upfront. Otherwise, you may find yourself in a difficult situation dealing with a company like Wadi Electric, which does not stand behind its work.

I contacted Wadi because he had good reviews and they were the only electrician that didn’t charge a fee to come look at the problem. Wadi was very thorough in helping me find the solution before we booked the appointment.

The day of the appointment Khaled came and advised us that we didn’t require the more expensive option and gave us a detailed reason why. Khaled replaced the fuse in the time it took me to walk back upstairs. Fast and thorough is the type of service I prefer. Definitely recommend.

We love using Rexel for our company’s electrical supply needs. Mike is always extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to help out our installers if something goes wrong.

I told Mike and Trevor at the Dorr Ave. Fairfax store I needed wire for ceiling can lights that are on a 3-way switch, as in wall switches in two different locations, a pretty common residential electrical situation. They told me I needed 6-3 wire. My 50 feet of 6-3 wire cost over $200. Within minutes of getting home, it was clear that the 6-3 wire is NOT correct. The correct wire is 14-3, which would have cost around $50. They sold me wire suitable for something like a convection oven, not simple ceiling lights. I called them right away and told them. They acknowledged it was THEIR mistake. They said they do not accept returns and will not swap out the expensive wire they told me I needed for anything I actually do need. But they did encourage me to come back and buy the correct 14-3 wire! I am appalled by their unethical and unprofessional behavior.
