I called and was told to send an email with the details of my request. I was told that I would receive a call back early the next week to schedule service. So that's what I did. I never got a call back or email. It has been 22 days since i sent me email. I've since resolved my issue with someone else's assistance.

These guys helped me install an electrical panel sometimes back. I was actually surprised at how professional these guys are. Great customer service too. I will definitely be using their services again.

I had a problem with a circuit breaker on my electric panel. I called to inquire about an appointment and they explained the breaker check to my on the phone. Problem solved! Saved me a trip charge. I am very grateful and will use the from now on!

Used poppy’s a year ago for a couple thousand dollars worth of electrical work. Work was fine and other than a final “check with your husband and call us back” when we asked about additional work it was fine.
Called this time and got a no show on an 9AM appointment made a week ago. Called to ask what was going on and the technician gave no apology or reason. A day of leave wasted.
Not bad in quality or price honestly but other electricians will do as well and show up.

Communication is severely lacking. After an initial inspection, I waited two weeks to get the work scheduled. After a few emails that were not responded to (I was told to email them to move forward with the work) I called and Mark said they'd be out there the next day. The next day, they were a no show and I did not receive a phone call, email, text, or anything. I waited two more days to see if I would hear something, after which I decided to just hire someone else. It's a house with aluminum wiring so my guess is maybe they just didn't want to do the work or didn't feel confident about it.

I hired Murphy Family Electric who I would highly recommend. They scheduled the work the next day after contacting them and they got the job done quick, painless, and at a reasonable price. They even saved me some money by not having to cut into the drywall as I was originally told and instead provided a better solution.

a while back we purchased a foreclosure and quickly realized that the entire house needed new electrical and plumbing. I used Mark before for much smaller jobs so Invited him and 2 others to bid on the job. Mark's estimate was lower and the scope of work he proposed was greater than the other two electrocutions. Now that the job is complete I am thrilled with my decision to use Poppy's again. There were no surprise charges and no BS. Mark's team worked at my pace because there was a lot of work being done on the house simultaneously. All the work was done with permits and never had any problems with inspectors. Bottom line, the entire 50 year-old house was rewired including a new panel at a VERY fair price. The five stars are well deserved!

Really great company to work with; they have always been able to fix whatever electrical needs we have, both indoor and outdoor. Very responsive and reasonably priced, would recommend them to anyone!

I called and made arrangement for a complete wires work on the house and to upgrade panel. Owner came over and looked around. He kind of just skimmed over the house and barely even looked at the panel. He then said that he could do the job and asked that I send the floor plan so he can give me a quote. I was concerned that he wasn't experienced enough to take on the job because he just skimmed through my house and panel. However, I figured I would try since he got decent reviews. I then sent the plan and as of now I have not heard back from him.

In my opinion, the job might have been too much more complicated and he didn't want to do it. I had an inclination because he mentioned that he preferred doing small fixing job instead of complex job of re-wiring old house.

The one star is because he showed up for the appointment; however, he was very late -30 minutes after arranged time.

Update: I received a call from the owner. He threatened to take me to court for putting a review and demanded that I take it down. I was upset that he would call me about the review; instead of address the customer service that I received! In addition, I wasted my valuable time. I raised my voice (No Cursing on my part), just raised my voice because it was disappointing to be told and giving hope that they could do the job. At a later time, I apologize for raising my voice. I still got threatened; therefore, I advised that I will not be intimidated to silence my experience and opinion.

Poppy’s Family Electric Service does such great work. They are professional, friendly and very reliable. Both times they done work for us we were truly pleased. I would recommend Poppy’s Electric to anyone who has electrical repair needs.

Very reputable firm. Responsive and excellent customer service. I called Poppy's last winter when I lost electricity to half of my house. Mark came right over and determined the problem was with the power going into the house which was then resolved by the power company. I was so impressed he got to me so quickly that I also requested a estimate to upgrade my aging electrical panel. Their bid was within my budget and I hired them. The work was completed promptly and professionally and they also took care of the electrical permit.

Some months later my AC wouldn't kick on and the HVAC tech reported that there was no power going to the blower inside the furnace. After the HVAC tech left I called Poppy's and Mark was at my door within the hour. He figured out in minutes what the HVAC tech should have known - the pilot switch had been turned off. He didn't even charge me for the visit. I highly recommend this company and I will be using them for all my electrical needs.

it's hard to find good electrical service these days. Poppy's Electric is an exception to this. A technician came out the NEXT DAY, fixed the problem in under two hours and made some recommendations moving forward. He was fast, efficient, professional, and personable. I felt the recommendations were fair, honest and he did not try to up-sell us on anything. Thank you for a job well done and professionalism to match!

We needed an upgrade for our old outdated panel. Mark got out to us right away for a quote (which was very reasonable) and got the job done quickly. I have some experience with electrical work and I must say he did a very neat and professional job. If I have any electrical needs in the future, I would absolutely hire Poppy's.
