Working with Mark, the owner of Poppy's, was such a breath of fresh air! We hired Poppy's Electric based on the excellent google reviews and they were right on track! Mark was very knowledgable, efficient, and very fairly priced (which is so hard to find in this area). I would definitely recommend him for any of your electrical needs in your home and we plan to hire him for more projects in our house.

I have Used Poppy's Family Electric Service on two occasions to run power to a hot tub (and than move the hot tub to a new house). On both occasions the service was excellent, fast and reasonably priced. Trust me when I say that good, honest contractors are sometime hard to find. Poppy's family is one of them, a hardworking team of professionals. I was looking up the number to call about a new project and thought I would take a minute to give them a well deserved thumbs up!

Fast, efficient quality work priced below competitors. Mark was responsive in answering all my questions. You really can't ask for much more. We had a panel upgrade and the inspector even remarked on the quality of the craftsmanship! Obviously, we passed without any issues. Would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend to others.

I have used Poppy's twice now - and Mark and Matt have went above and beyond each time they've been here.

The first time they were here was for a project to add some outlets in my kitchen. This was a relatively easy job for them I am sure, but they were very courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and even installed an extra two outlets.

The second time they came was for a ceiling fan installation and an attic fan installation. Not only did they do a great job with those, but they fixed an on going outlet issue I have had in my bedroom and also resolved another outlet issue in a spare room.

I highly recommend Poppy's for your next project.

A+ Electrician and company. When my EV charger was giving me warning, I sought out an electrician and found Poppy's Electric. Mark, the owner, worked with me and we scheduled a day and time for him and his team to inspect the existing installation. Upon inspection, it was found that there was a faulty connection and it was melting the existing outlet! Mark fortunately had the right equipment and was able to replace everything and it's been running great ever since! I plan to come back to Poppy's for future electrical needs. Highly Recommend!

Wadi was great fixed separated our appliance circuit kept tripping the breaker. He advised that we were running too much load I like to cook, so I’m always using too many appliances at the same time.

Electrician flipped the breaker and the problem was fixed. It’s not something I tried since I thought the problem was deeper then that. No worries though, however they do have a 150 minimum. I offered 100, the guy was slightly rude about it, nothing to tip me over, enough to drop a star on the review however I respect small businesses so I won’t. For 12 min in and out I thought $100 was more then fair, it doesn’t hurt to ask. However, that’s his minimum and he made that known to me after the fact, but that’s okay I’ll respect his minimum.

The only thing I’m not too fond of is he told me they had to drive from Maryland to Fairfax. Appreciate you doing that but you have your business listed as servicing Fairfax, don’t complain you have to drive out if you clearly have it listed to serve my area. That’s the cost of doing business.

You have a perfect 5 star record, I’m sure as hell not going to ruin that for you, that would be cruel. Just please don’t complain about driving far when you have my area listed as your service area.

I needed some work done at my commercial property and I’m very happy I chose Wadi and his team. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quickly solved the issue I was experiencing.

I schedule a inspection of my electrical panel for reconnection at my farm on 06/02/2024 for a visit on 06/08/2024 they arrive everything was up to code on my panel the technician informs me that Wadi will get back with me as far as the permit process and timeline over two months later constantly calling to check the status of the permit 1-2 times a week. I am informed today by Wadi (8/13/2024) "that we do not prioritize permits" he claimed he sent the information to his permit team last week but they haven't got back with him

And the owner will not hold his employees accountable for doing their job.

Will not recommend doing business with a company ran like this.
