I reached out to AVS this morning to fix my HVAC on one of the hottest days of the year so far. They were incredibly attentive on the phone and I couldn’t believe it when the were able to send someone within 15 minutes.

2 very nice men showed up exactly on time and after I explained what iChat was wrong, they went right to work. They finished the job within a 1/2 hour and did a very thorough system check before they left.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVS HEATING AIR-CONDITIONING TO EVERYONE!!

We called needing last minute help with our upstairs furnace. The two gentlemen who showed up were wonderful. They diagnosed the problem right away and explained things simply for me. They were honest and gave my husband great advice on how to remedy the problem.

We are dental office and found out we had no A/C on a Sunday and it was over 100 degrees the day before so the office was so hot. We feared cancelling all our patients for the next day. But Anil came out within a few hours on that Sunday and diagnosed the issue. We were ready to open the next day! He was great!!

I had been waiting almost three weeks for my long term HVAC people to do a repair that prevented my AC from working. In frustration I asked Anil if his company, AVS, could fix it. In the first ten minutes he had located the part and ordered it and he installed it the next morning. I am thrilled.

I called AVS late in the evening and they were able to schedule me the next day and accommodate my schedule. The technician Anil came and was able to diagnose and fix my HVAC not producing any heat in under 30 minutes! I was very impressed with the knowledge and service provided. Highly recommended if you are in the Merrifield area as they are really close.

I used AVS when my air conditioning suddenly stopped working and needed to be replaced. They were able to replace the whole unit within a week. All of the staff I interacted with were very professional and friendly. I highly recommend their services.

Anil Sareen came on time, that too on Sunday and promptly fixed the HVAC issue. He was professional and explained what the issue was.

Anil from AVS serviced my home. When I called a different heating and cooling company yesterday they didn't fix the problem. After 2 days of indoor temperature standing at 43 degrees, AVS fit me in and triple checked for the problem only to find out the company from yesterday put the wrong thermostat in. I am so thankful for their prompt service( not having me wait until the end of the 3 hour window) and communicative and friendly behavior. My house is warm now and me and my pets don't have to freeze together.

*Update to respond the owner's response: I feel extremely disappointed that the owner didn't even apologize or take responsibility for the racist comment, and permitted such behavior by saying "we don't find many conversion like this in recordings". How MANY racist behavior is enough? . And to clarify, our maintenance person (from another company) didn't identify any leaking issue this time and identified that the issue is due to the low refrigerant that was not filled enough in the first place. The owner's comment was referring to the issue from LAST year that we already PAID and replaced the outdoor unit.

We experienced unacceptable racist behavior in this business. I would rate the business zero star if I could. We hired them to install our AC unit in August last year. Now just one year later, our maintenance guy identified during the annual check that the AC refrigerant is very low and we need to add two ponds more in to make sure the AC is running at proper level. The maintenance guy ruled our coil and leaking issue, and the only explanation is the AVS didn't put adequate refrigerant when they installed. We call the company asking (politely) if they can come add the refrigerant for free, give it's within one year and the issue was due to low refrigerant in the first place. The guy answering the phone said "one chinese customer didn't want to pay". This is not only racist, but also not responsible for what went wrong during the initial installment.

My A/C broke down a few days before July 4 2021 and the company that had the service contract told me it needed a new motor and capacitor and that they could not come to fix it until after July 5 despite the fact it was sweltering hot and I'm 70 yrs old. I was never able to speak to a manager to complain. So I called AVS and they came right away on July 4 and fixed it for one third the price of the other company and said it did not need a motor and this saved me a lot of money. I signed a service contract with AVS on the spot and canceled the other company. AVS was honest, professional and I had no problem talking to their manager. I highly recommend them.

We had to get our heater fixed. I consulted few different places and decided to go with AVS. AVS always answered quickly every time I called them. Their price is very fair as well and their staff is friendly. They worked diligently to fix the issue and even went above and beyond to fix an additional part that they did not charge us extra for.

Happy to recommend AVS. They came out to service our HVAC unit that wasn’t cooling the house (on a particularly hot Labor Day). They were able to get a technician (Anil) out within an hour of us calling, who quickly diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor) and had it replaced and back up and running in no time. They were professional and pleasant to deal with and will definitely be my first call next time I have an HVAC issue.

I've called upon AVS twice now. The first was over the summer when my outdoor unit failed. I had reached out to a larger company first and was told I needed a new indoor and outdoor unit, which would cost $16k. I then contacted AVS for a second opinion. They were responsive to my call, listened to the situation, and arrived within 2 hours of the call to diagnose the issue. They were able to determine a part failed, had the part on their truck, and replaced it for about $400. Mre recently, I had a separate issue on my indoor issue. Of course it happened on one of the coldest days of the year and without a workong unit, my house got very very cold. Because of my good experience with AVS thr first time, I rang them up again and explained what happened. AVS sent a truck over within hours. It only took them a few minutes to diagnose and fix the issue. My house is now warm again. I appreciate their timeliness, communication, and ease of interaction. I recommend giving AVS a call when you encounter an issue.

Big thanks to Danny and the crew at AVS who always follow through with repairs and are very easy to work with. You get a sense they are truly experts in their field which is a huge help- because I am not! I've been using them for over a year now for maintenance and the occasional repair. Highly recommend!

Anil responded quickly on our Sunday request and fixed our HVAC fast. He was professional, left the working site clean and even showed to me how to fix some small issues that can occasionally pop-up. It was a great experience working with AVS Heating and Air Conditioning Company

AVS Air Conditioning Company is a great company to work with. I have called several companies in the past but all they were doing was filling up Freon every year. AVS Guys came out and found the Freon leak and fixed it in 1st attempt. I am very pleased with the quality job they did in my house.

AVS Heating and Air Conditioning is top notch! I recommend them highly and without hesitation. Their technician (who is an engineer and appeared to be the owner) came out promptly on a weekend, quickly pinpointed the problem with my outside fan unit, and made the repair on the spot for a very reasonable cost. He even shared some very helpful tips to help keep my system operating properly and lengthen its service life. They are now my new HVAC company.

Excellent service! Our heat went out Sunday evening and they arrived Monday morning and diagnosed the problem immediately. They were able to put in a temporary part until the replacement part arrived and our heat has been running perfectly ever since. Very happy. We will definitely use AVS again and recommend this company!

I do not recommend this company! They started off great by giving a same day appointment. However, they tried to convince me to replace my unit rather than replacing the coils which were still under warranty. Also, their quote was almost double the going rate. Thankfully I obtained a 2nd quote from another company and my mini-split is working like new for a very reasonable price.

Our AC shut down suddenly after a storm during the summer, and AVS was able to send a tech promptly. Anil was great! He was very knowledgeable, and he fixed our AC same day. I would definitely use this company again.

I have used AVS over the years for my HVAC service. They are very dependable and trustworthy. During this heat all other companies I called were unavailable but AVS took the call and came over within 15 minutes. i would highly recommend!
