We had moved from our property and very much need to sell it. My 72 year old husband had been gradually trying go clean up the yard. He came one day to work on the yard and saw that Asplundh had been there and left a huge mess that made even walking down to the barn impossible. He called and complained and asked for it to be cleaned up. They answered by returning and cutting down and leaving lie expensive, beautiful, decorative trees that we had purchased and planted 20 years ago. Our hearts are broken at the loss of these trees that were planted in memory of our animals that had passed and even served as grave markers. One Star Magnolia was planted in memory of the therapy horse that our farm, Gallastar, is named after. We absolutely cannot afford to pay to have this cleaned up and are now at a total standstill . My plans to retire due to my medical condition are on hold until the property is sold. Parts of It cannot even be accessed at this time!!! This is the second time that they have done this. Back in 2013, they only cleaned it up after we went to the press.

I want to complain about some work your company performed on my property. The crew was at my property on Tuesday 10/10/17, cutting a tree out of power lines. Results of the work, one butchered tree, oil on the road, very little clean-up, small cut limbs hanging everywhere in the tree, and because of poor clean-up and rain neighbors two doors down the hill now have some of my debris. Also they removed one very entertaining squirrel nest. I will be sure to share this information with everyone. Thank you for your time, I must go and clean-up the mess your company made.
After three days, no response. Do not let this company anywhere close to your property!!

Good job cutting. Tore up my yard with trucks. I've filled complaints with Dominion power (who hired them) and with the SCC.

Terrible terrible company. They show up on Tuesday and hacked 5 trees. We’ve lost all the trees. They also left their mess in the driveway. Was told they would be back to clean up the mess. Nope, never came back. Called the regional office and my information was taken but never received a call or an email. They’re not tree experts, they’re hack experts. Not to mention they damaged my neighbors property and no plan to fix the damages.

Came to my house today, when I was not home. They cut down trees without spreaking to me. Then they left without doing anything with the cut down trees and did not say anything. The tree landed partly on my children's playground. Absolutely ridiculous.

Worker couldn’t even communicate enough to explain why he was here. We figured out they were sent by the power company. They completely butchered the trees in our front yard. We plan to move soon and now we will have to remove at least one of the trees because all they left behind is the trunk. We had just paid $3k this past year to clean up our trees. I don’t understand how this is acceptable.

These guys are pros! They have the skills and equipment to do it right and they are reasonably priced. I would recommend them and I will use them again.

I allowed them to use my property for a couple weeks to gain access to a lake the county owns. In return he said he would remove a dead limb over a path on my property. They finished the county job, never cut the limb and 2 weeks ago it fell, almost hitting my daughter. I called twice before it fell to see if they were coming back and they never bothered to return my calls. Horrible business practice.

Wells Tree Service removed a tree this morning near our house. They did a great job and left the area clean and tidy. We were very pleased!

Based on experience of jobs they had done for other neighbors, I recommended them to a couple who needed the last vacant lot in my neighborhood cleared to build a home. I saw them a month later and they said there was no response to their inquiries. They went with another service.

We were very pleased with the work that was done. The price was very fair and the team worked well together. There was minimal damage to our large and small shrubs. The trees were close to the house, but they demonstrated great skill in getting them down.

Pulled into the parking lot to park so we could clean a clients place- no sign in the parking lot at all. A man from this company, old man with green sweatshirt, walks to our car shaking his head, we roll down the window and he very rudely tells us we can’t park here and we were confused as to why; he said we are cutting trees around here and there’s a sign right there- pointing at a sign that’s small on the door to the building that is NOT visible from the lot. No cones in the lot either!!!! Nothing. So we say okay we don’t live here so we didn’t see and he rudely scoffs and says even more of a reason for you to not be here. Disgusted with this man’s attitude!!! Poor representation of your company. Left both my mother and I extremely uncomfortable..

Do better.

Avoid Wells Tree Service! They believe that poor planning on their part constitutes an emergency on the innocent neighbors in their path. At ~9:42 am on Wednesday April 24, 2024, I was on the phone with my 86 year old mother who’s anxiety is pretty high, especially when she is lost. She had a 10 am doctor’s appointment, made a wrong turn and was lost. I was attempting to identify her location and get her to the doctor’s appointment. Someone started madly ringing the doorbell and knocking on my front storm door. I was not expecting anyone and felt unsafe opening the door when I don’t know who the person is. Because the knocking would not cease, I opened the door. The tree worker for Well’s Tree Service asked me how I was. I said that I was annoyed because I was on the phone. He said that he did not know that, but I needed to move my car. He said that I did not need to be so rude. After moving the car, I took a picture of the company truck. The same worker who knocked on my door asked why I was taking a picture. He started mocking me as I walked on my property. He informed me that I did not need to call the office because the boss was right there. He said that he did not knock on my door, only my glass (which is my storm door). He pointed out the boss. I stood for more than 5 minutes while the “boss” spoke with my neighbor. I finally interrupted the conversation. I informed the boss that I was not happy. The boss said that he was not happy with me. He said that most people would have moved their car. He made no effort to ask what happened. I informed him that I had an emergency phone call. He said that he did not know that. Then he said if the call was an emergency, we should have called 911. I informed him that my mother was lost and potentially late for a doctor’s appointment. He said that he did not know that, but he certainly did not make any attempt to understand what happened. He said that it was in everyone’s interest to remove the tree. I was not questioning that the tree needed to be removed. I suggested that a note on my door yesterday could be very helpful. He said that he did not know that he was taking down the tree until this morning.

When I called the office, the person who answered the phone was unclear as to whether I spoke with the owner or the son. She said that inappropriate behavior did not sound like the owner. She said that she would get back to me. A second call was made to the office this afternoon. The call went to voicemail. This review will be cross posted to multiple sites.

I had a haderrous tree to cut down! They came out and took care of my tree i needed removed. It took them no time to remove the tree. They take pride in there work and are the best company I have heard of and dealt with yet.

From the first contract the communication was great. The delivery of the gravel for my dtiveway was easy Brandon did a great job. I would use this service again
