I needed a suit tailored for the next day, they accommodated me for a reasonable price and did an amazing job. Thanks Lee's!

They did their job however it wasn't what I wanted I wanted a laundry service. Not dry clean. I'm to busy to do laundry dry and I just needed my stuff ran through.

Very friendly and prompt service. I've taken my dry cleanings to Lee's twice and their quality of work is "top notch". Lee's cleaners is now my 'go-to' cleaners.

I've used this business on two separate occasions. I do not recommend based on my experiences. Customer service is ok, but quality of work was lacking both times.

Very nasty attitude. Hemmed pants, and didn't press them. Then tore a hole in a very expensive dress shirt, and denied it. Never going back, and will tell all 483 people in my contacts to go elsewhere for their dry cleaning needs.

This is the first time I am dropping off suit and jacket a to be dry cleaned. Will pickup on Monday. Then I can review this place properly.

Salesperson was rude to my daughter because she didn't have the ticket to pick up alteration and she assumed it was dry cleaning. Will be taking my business elsewhere, because what you will not do is disrespect my kids!!!!

Very helpful and strives for customer satisfaction. I called about an hour before closing and needed a jacket cleaned for the next day and they were very accommodating.

Not pleased with my service & don't think I'll be going back! They got brown spots from their press machine on my all white Liz Claiborne blazer & then tried to say spot was already there! Not true I've only worn the jacket once & same brown spots on front & back of blazer...These people take your money & have no customer service skills! Never going back

I would never bring my clothes here again. The day I was came to pick up my clothes, they could not find my items. Drove back here 3 weeks later and they finally found my clothes and charged me full price for service when they had misplaced my items. No remorse for misplacing my items.

Unless this is the only place you can go to because of convenience, I wouldn't come back. I paid $48 for 2 uniform sets and a sew job. I have paid much less at other places AND I have waited for less days.

My husband takes his dress uniforms here and they are able to get them done by the next day. We love them so much

I was in a hurry and one of my buttons popped off. The owner told me to take my shirt off and he repaired it immediately. I am so impressed!

Wife went to get her military uniform cleaned because she had a spot on there. They called and told her it was ready so she went in and they handed it to her and didn’t say anything. She checked it and the spot was still on there. They kept saying they tried and didn’t even reduce payment or give money back for doing nothing. If they were professional they would of called to inform her that they couldn’t take the spot out or told her when they handed back her clothes. Don’t ever go here. Terrible service.

I was referred to Lee's Cleaners by Ames Tuxedos (10 Towne Centre Way, Hampton, VA 23666) and I'm so glad they did! I needed a dress altered for an event the same day I bought it (the smallest size available for the dress was two sizes too big). I took it to Lee's to get a temporary stitch for the sides and they did an amazing job! Not only did they do great work but they are open longer than most cleaner and alterations places, especially on Saturdays. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they are not easy to find physically nor on GPS.

Took 4 shorts in to be pressed. Did not ask for dry cleaning. I normally use Newmarket cleaners. I tried lees because I worked too late to make it to my regular girl. Lees charged me more than double what Newmarket charges me. I tried to talk to someone about the price and they pretty much told me they dry cleaned them and that’s the price. When I tried to tell them I have no control over what they wrote on ticket and I did not ask for dry cleaning. They showed me what “they wrote on ticket” , and shrugged and told me to have a nice day. Wow!!!! I am an Operation Manager and if any of my customers are not happy or there was a miscommunication, I would do anything in my power to make it right. Do yourself a favor and drive past lees and go to Newmarket.

Great prompt customer service. I had to bring my 3 year old with me and instead of disapproving looks, they doted on him and even gave him a doughnut and chatted with me while my other half got his jacket altered. Will be going back because we needed it done in a hurry and they were happy to help!!

I have been using this cleaning company for seven years. They used to be in my neighborhood but since I have moved to Portsmouth and I still travel to take them my clothes. They know me well because I have a laundry basket dedicated just for dry cleaning and it comes full every single time. Every single person has been kind and thoughtful and the service is always been spot on. I can’t think of a bad experience in all of my seven years. This is why I will continue to use them for all of my Dry cleaning and tailoring service.

Those people completely scammed me. I brought it four dresses that were not even dirty just wanted them washed and pressed she quoted me a price and when I returned she added 80 more dollars be careful of them and get a clear response if price before leaving your garments

    TERRIBLE SERVICE.

On Friday June 23, 2018 I brought a cloth backpack to the store to have their tailor repair the straps, which had been tearing off. The woman tailor and the woman cashier assured me that the straps could be fixed and that they would even double thread them to prevent them from tearing again. Because of their Initial attitude I felt the $18 price was reasonable. When given my receipt the cashier took a receipt that had been partially filled by another potential customer and marked out his information with sharpie, then added mine. I thought this was tacky, but I went with it. When I returned the next day, they had only repaired one strap. I asked them why both straps had not been fixed and they said that I had only requested them to fix one strap??? After some discussion they agreed to fix the additional strap. I paid the $18 and handed in my receipt. When I returned within the hour they had fixed both straps, BUT wanted to charge me an additional $8 for the service. I thought this was unreasonable and was never given a new receipt for this pending fee of $8. After they yelled at me, one of the women began to tear the threading out of my cloth bag. I left the store upset and proceeded to write this review. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. They have no customer service skills, their organization is horrible, and they even referred to me by the wrong name after several corrections.

I need verification from you, customers…. it was on Facebook that I saw a Hampton Councilwoman ask people where to go for dry cleaning, as Ames Cleaners had closed its doors, after 45 years. Lee’s cleaners on Mercury was the first place that was suggested, so I went there—the first and last time. The person at the counter seemed to be pulling numbers and prices from her head, not referring to a price list to calculate how much I would pay. When all was totaled, they actually charged me almost $75 for only four pieces of clothing. Two Knit sleeveless dresses (one pink, one white), one knit pink jacket, and one coat—cost me $74.79. When I returned to the store today with my husband, the counter person said “that’s just the store price. You are not special—I charge everyone this way.” She was quite impolite as well, speaking over me, and cutting me off. I will not be returning, nor did I give her a credit card, so she wouldn’t have any information pertaining to the transaction….in actuality, I didn’t trust her with my credit card information. She asked me to sign the slip when I gave her a $100 bill, inferring my bill may be counterfeit… I believe that this is a case for the Better Business Bureau…
