Absolutely outlandish pricing! Asked for a ball park to add a switch controlled outlet next to the switch for my air handler and was not able to get one. Once the tech arrived he had his "straight forward pricing" book that listed any outlet withing so many feet as a 450 ( thats the discount price if you subscribe to them) fee plus the 89 dollar callout. Turned them away as this is less then 2 dollars of material. Tech said it was to cover their liability if something were to go wrong. I wouldn't feel comfortable with an electrician that needs a 22400% markup to cover labor and warranty... I'd question why they wouldn't make this "straight forward pricing" book available on line or at least to the schedulers but I'm pretty sure I know the answer. At least I know who not to call for a quote on my whole home generator.

Edit after response: then why not provide that "straight forward pricing" book information on your website so customers can be somewhat informed before getting stuck with a 89 dollar call out fee for nothing? It was listed in the book as "add an outlet within 10 feet", seemes pretty straight forward and no diagnostics nessary. My advice to others, look around before committing to this company.

Isaac and his associate were incredibly prompt (they were an hour early, which to me is unprecedented in the home repair realm!), knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire troubleshoot, repair, and installation process. They resolved the issue of a power outage in my child’s room/the hallway and installed new outlets in the problem area as well as a new GFCI outlet to coincide. Isaac didn’t just explain the root of the issue, but he took the time out of his work to show me the deficiencies so I’d gain understanding as a consumer.

He provided me with a full inspection of my home’s electrical scope, which he broke down into layman’s terms step-by-step. He also shared longer-term repair options with a detailed, no-pressure approach. Finally, they left their work space spotless! The process felt collaborative. Overall, through Isaac and his associate’s example, I believe what sets them apart from other providers in terms of professionalism is their courteous nature and sincere kindness. PH&A technician Elijah arrived today to service our heat pumps and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was courteous and knowledgeable. A capacitor was replaced on one of our condensing units and all equipment was cleaned and inspected thoroughly. We are glad we chose PH&A to service our equipment going forward and highly recommend them to all.

Recently our HVAC stopped working days before I was due to deliver a baby. We called and asked for help, and Peninsula went out of their way to coordinate a service call the same day, sending Justin (best tech EVER) to save the day. Justin diagnosed the problem in minutes, had the spare part on his truck, and had our HVAC back up and running that afternoon. This is a company that truly takes care of people, not just a company that does business. Very grateful for Justin and the admin team at Peninsula!!!

James showed up promptly and prepared. He was knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Our generator had shown an error code and had not come on during a recent power outage. James explained the various reasons for this and informed us of what he was finding as he checked over the system. As the battery was 5 years old, he replaced it and ran it through a final check. We are very pleased - and relieved - to have this service accomplished so quickly and completely. Communication with PHA is also excellent. The office staff were responsive to our needs and set up servicing promptly. Thank you PHA.

I recently moved to Deltaville and have zero experience with any HVAC companies out here so far. My neighbors highly recommended PHA and I have to say I am beyond impressed! I called after hours and the on call tech called back in less than 10 mins! He showed up less than 60 minutes later and quickly fixed my heat issue. Eli was a really nice, friendly, very knowledgeable and professional, explained everything to me in laymans terms! He also told me all the details about the maintenance plan and how much it would save me for any future visits or parts. Knowing my system is from 2005, I called today and got the maintenance plan. For a first timer, I'm sold on their customer service for sure!!

Samantha and Jessica at the reception line were absolutely wonderful and put up with my many frantic calls over the last two days when our heat just went out. Our HVAC technician Chris just left after delivering 5 star service and getting our unit back up and running in LESS than an hour! He gave detailed explanations of what he was doing and what the problem was. He ensured everything was up and running smoothly before he left and While he was waiting for the unit to complete its cycle, he even cleared up some ice from the walkway. I could not have asked for better quality service. I will absolutely be contacting you all to schedule preventative maintenance with your company going forward. My employer has been a long time customer of Peninsula Heating & Air. We have always been pleased with the service and care that we receive.
Recently (after many band-aids to try and stretch out the use of the old unit) we had to replace one of our HUGE units in our gym area. Daniel and Rich were the guys assigned to the job and they methodically broke down the old unit, cleared the space and gave oversight to the removal of the old unit and placement of the new unit - both by crane. At which point, they again methodically hooked everything back up and in time for our Sunday service.
From the time we place a service call to the time a project is wrapped up, we always feel assured that we are in good hands with Peninsula Heating & Air.
