Aviles heating and air conditioning is an amazing and professional company. When it was almost 90 degrees outside and our unit broke he came within the hour to review and explain to us the reason it went down. He saved the day with fixing our unit the same day we reached out. Thank you so much and we appreciate you Erick.

I called Erick at 7 am for a broken air conditioner- he was at our house less than half an hour later and was able to diagnose and fix the problem- all before 8! His communication, service and knowledge were outstanding. We will definitely use him for any future needs.

My experience with Erick (Aviles Heating and Air Conditioning), was unfortunately disappointing and frustrating.

I initially contacted Erick because the attic fan of my HVAC system was continuously running. During my initial conversation with Erick, I specifically mentioned that I suspected a faulty relay was causing the issue. Erick suggested replacing the entire heater pack under warranty. He provided an estimate of $230 for labor and $50 for paperwork (total $280), which I agreed to.

However, after Erick replaced the heater pack, the issue persisted. It was only after further troubleshooting that he determined the actual problem was with the fan motor, not the relay (I take fair share of the blame). He then provided a new estimate of total $120 for labor and paperwork ($50) to replace the motor, which I also agreed to.

Unfortunately, my disappointment grew when Erick later informed me that the cost would now be $250 instead of the agreed-upon $120. His explanation was that paperwork costed him of $75 instead of $50 (I offered him to pay $150 considering this). This sudden increase and his insistence on additional charges beyond what was originally agreed upon were not only unexpected but also frustrating.

Throughout this process, while Erick demonstrated technical competence, the lack of transparency and consistency in pricing and estimates left much to be desired. I found it difficult to reconcile the discrepancies between the initial estimates and the final costs presented to me.

In conclusion, while Aviles Heating and Air Conditioning and Erick may possess technical expertise, I caution potential customers to clarify all costs upfront and ensure that agreements are adhered to throughout the service process. Based on my experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution when engaging their services

AC went out on the hottest day of the year. Called Aviles HVAC at 9 pm and he had us up and running by 10:30 pm! Awesome service! Erick is a very knowledgeable and friendly person to work with. Definitely will use them again.

Eric Aviles is a very knowledgeable, prompt, friendly and helpful person to work with. He quickly diagnosed and explained the issue with our HVAC system, ordered and installed a replacement part all in a short time period. We are very glad we called Aviles heating and air conditioning!

The igniter on my furnace unfortunately went out Thursday afternoon at 4:30 pm. I was in a panic since it was going to be brutally cold later tonight, so I started calling HVAC shops in my area before they closed for the day. I had no such luck after a couple tries since no one was picking up. That is until Eric Aviles called me back. He was willing to talk to me even though he was already home with his family. After several texts, he said he was able to come over with a couple of igniters that should work with my furnace. Eric arrived at the house around 5:50 pm, and was able to replace the igniter after checking to make sure that was the issue. He was able to get the furnace working again by 6:30 pm and was out the door by 6:40 pm. Eric was very professional and very thorough. I will certainly call him again for any future work, and highly recommend to anyone to contact Eric.

I’m a fairly independent person and had already done everything I could do to get my AC back up and running. At whit’s end, I reached out to another service, who diagnosed the problem wrong and were going to charge me exorbitantly. Once I found Erick, however, I knew I was in good hands. He came out, professionally and competently explained the problem, checked my system thoroughly, resolved the problem, and left me with some tips and tricks to do the basic maintenance for myself. I will go back to Erick again for my future HVAC and water heater needs.

Eric serviced my HVAC couple of times. He is a good skilled technician. His prices are reasonable. I would recommend him for the HVAC services.

Eric and his team came out in two days installed two nice units and all the codes and we’re done and up and running in about 12 hours of work time. Awesome job.

I live in a house that is 11 years old and have the original HVAC. Large companies in the area suggested that we replace both the upstairs and downstairs units as part of seasonal maintenance based on recommended replacement practice. I was not convinced since my usage is 3-4 hours a day. I wanted another opinion and called Erick. He serviced the equipment, changed the capacitor, and topped up the gas. I am happy with the work he did. He was honest about the fact that our systems were not in as poor of a condition as other, larger vendors in the area had suggested, and his thorough servicing has extended the lifespan of our existing equipment, rather than him taking the easy way out and saying our systems needed full replacement in order to make a quick profit.

Found Aviles HVAC through a referral in our neighborhood. Came quickly, diagnosed the problem, explained our options for repair, and got it fixed in no time. Glad to have the heat back on today!

What a blessing. My mother’s furnace died on the coldest day . He showed up and had it diagnosed the problem. Got the part and had it working in record time. The best part was the reasonable price . I thought those days were long gone.

Erick has installed several HVAC systems in our townhouse community so we called him for a quote. He had a great price on a Trane unit. He worked with us to get it installed promptly.

Erick was amazing. We noticed home was getting hot last night, we just thought it because of a hot weekend. Then woke up and was 78 in the house. I checked the outside unit and it was struggling to turn on. Called Erick and left a voicemail. He called me back within 5 mins. I explained what happened and gave me instructions just in case of damaging the unit.

We already had a busy day and we had to schedule for later in the week. But we came back home and it was 83!!! Called Erick, to see if by chance he could come today. He said no problem. He came and instantly knew what was going on. He went straight to repair instead of replace, which is great in my books. He fixed the unit right there and for a fair price.

Erick rearranged his schedule to come out to evaluate a heating problem in the midst of a serious cold snap — within an hour of my call he was on his way (after hours)! Like a number of our neighbors, Erick installed a complete Trane heat and AC system for us on the same day he inspected our old dying furnace. His price was fair and his work and product knowledge was excellent. We are very pleased with his performance and look forward to a long relationship with him.
