Constraction reviews in Midlothian, Virginia

These guys are great. After the first contractor took incorrect measurements and caused us to order cabinets that didn't exactly fit, and then didn't show up and blamed us and wanted to reschedule weeks later, Craig came in on very short notice and bailed us out. As my wife describes: "I can't thank you enough for stepping in on such short notice to preserve my sanity and rescue our our cabinets and kitchen!" Craig and Curtis and their trainee Tim problem solved creatively to make the cabinets work, made them look great, did a fan hood and added a vent and some exhaust, did re-routing of refrigerator water hookup and some other ceiling and attic repair work and finished the job with exceptional competence and efficiency - all while easily beating the first contractors price. We give them our highest recommendation. PS - I will add pictures later today... Mike & Kim Martelli

ACT Contracting did a A+ job on my fireplace reface, laundry room cabinetry and plumbing for a sink, and bathroom floor. I am so excited to come home everyday and see their great work. The Owner and Crew was respectfully, professional, and clean. Thanks again guys😊

ACT did a complete remodel/rebuild for me in 2019-2020. I have never been happier just excellent workmanship. He remodeled my 1946 1400 sqft farm house into a 2200 sqft farmhouse dream. There was not a part of this house he did not touch and make better. Home value increased from 135k to 325k. Trustworthy company.

Craig was not only very professional but knowledgeable and accurate. Craig helped us with a consultation on an issue on our 3 yr old home and gave us accurate information which led to a quick resolution by the original builder. We will definitely go for additional construction needs to Craig. He is trustworthy and looks out for customers as well as potential customers.

This business is OUTSTANDING. Craig and the crew have done several major jobs for me. I had them to add a screen porch to my home a few years back. If a tornado came, my house would be destroyed; but my screen porch will still be standing!! Just a few months ago, I had a new roof done. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Craig also did a deck for my Mom. Everything he and his crew have done is awesome work. The professionalism, the fairness in pricing, and the expertise is all there. But the most positive characteristic of this company is the PASSION for the work. It’s this type of caring that makes everything fall into place. Thankyou Craig !

Craig is the best!! He remodeled our bathroom in 2019, repaired our roof in 2020, and mounted TV’s in our new home in 2021. The service he provides is superb and the work is too notch. We consider Craig not just our contractor but family!! You can depend on ACT!!

Craig and his team at ACT did a STELLAR job converting our detached garage into an in-law suite! We felt the price was more than fair for the quality of work done. Craig was with us at every stage of the project and offered great suggestions to make the space even better. Very pleased with the service and hope to use ACT for future remodeling projects.

Yenifer was very pleasant to work with and knew the trades required for the project very well. We had tile work, electrical, plumbing, counter top installation, etc. She was always responsive with any questions we had.

Yenifer was great to work with. She is very knowledgable about the remodel process and it shows. She even thought about little adjustments that I never would have thought of. Glad I went with her instead of trying to do it myself! Highly recommend.

We are ecstatic with our new kitchen🩵! Yenifer was fantastic from design to management. She answered all our questions, accommodated our changes, and helped us make educated decisions while sticking strictly to our budget. Her team at ALTA is friendly and clearly takes great pride in their craftsmanship. We will definitely be using them again for our bathroom renovation!!

From first meeting, through design, demo, electrical, plumbing, cabinet and counter installation Alta did an outstanding job bringing a great team together to complete our Dream kitchen. What a refreshing experience not only having a team on your side, but being a part of the team. They listen to your ideas, work through challenges, and found solutions that worked out even better than the original directions.
I enjoyed the experience and REALLY enjoying my beautiful new kitchen AND walk through Pantry!!!!

Awsome

Really need help IN TOLL RENTAL AREA.

The manager here cannot manage anything.

Called every store department to check for tool rental availability. Was on hold for 15 minutes for each department, and still never picked up. Unacceptable.
Went to the store, they had the rental I needed, but the in store price per 4 hours was 25% more than the online price and they refused to honor the online price. Never doing business with Home Depot again, I suggest you go to Lowe's or R.C. Goodwyn and Sons, Inc instead.

Polite, courteous, and professional service
