Plumbing - Had Jerome out to remove an old boiler and install a water heater. Man, he move with purpose! He was courtesy's and patient when speaking with me and family. He came by again to adjust heater, and asked if I had any issues or concerns that needed to be addressed. I'm GLAD he was assigned to my project. THANK YOU!!!!

Electrical - Barry, Aaron and Jackson handled the electrical component of my HVAC installment with expertise and finesse. With each hurdle they came together and overcame the problem. I and my family truly appreciate all your efforts!

HVAC - Terry, Zachary, and Cameron worked tirelessly thru high heat and moisture to provide my family with excellent service. When finished they did a meticulous inspection to ensure that the installation was completed correctly. True Professionals.

Norfolk Air does it all. Capable, professional and knowledgeable: their techs get it done. Tommy Ramirez was on time and quick to correct our issue. We use them for heating & cooling, plumbing and electrical.

This company is great. Used them a few years ago to help with an AC issue I had in my unit. They were quick to come out and repair. I always said I’d use them again purely for their customer service and that still stands true. I decided to be smart and get my unit serviced before doing the AC switch-over. And I’m thankful that I did. They quickly found some duct work that had been chewed up my these darn Norfolk Rats. And then when my spigot rusted off right in the HVAC guy’s hand he quickly helped me get the water main shut-off. Then he called their team and had their plumbers out here in less than 30 minutes to repair it. They were all kind and professional. I wish I’d gotten all their names, but for sure give Cassidy B & Ricky H a raise or something for how awesome they were. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Terrible service. They will waste your time. Scheduled an HVAC appointment online. Got an email confirmation of appointment time. Got a phone call confirming the day, time, and service. I take time off of work to be there at the TWICE confirmed day and time. They then no-show the appointment without a call or email. Over 2 hours late, I finally called them to ask where's the service tech and they told me I had no appointment scheduled. They told me the person that called to confirm the appointment later cancelled it (not at my request), because she said there is an $89 service fee, I said, "Okay." Apparently I was confusing her when I agreed to the charge.

They sent a technician out to fix a issue (not having hot water). Before the technician left he said the issue was fixed. The next day I have the same issue and their response was "We can send another technician out for $89 service fee"
***Update***
I was contacted by the management team, I received an apology and they gave me a total refund. That's 100% respect! I will consider them for future business.

We had an awful experience with another plumbing company and was without HOT water for 15days. Eric came and assessed us on a Monday and our new water heater was installed on a Wednesday right before Thanksgiving!

He was Friendly knowledgeable and provided us great service.

Mr Jerome Ziegler was phenomenal! Skilled, knowledgeable and very kind. Completely professional and made sure I understood the problem. I would recommend Norfolk heating and air but specifically Mr. Jerome Ziegler! Amazing work! My family and I thank you for restoring our water.

I had an emergency plumbing issue in the crawlspace on Monday. Norfolk Air sent their technician, Ricky. He came to the house, evaluated the issue and finished the job within a couple of hours. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely use Norfolk Air again for any plumbing needs...

On one of the hottest days in the city of Norfolk, my plumbing was backed up in my downstairs bathroom to the point where it was coming up thru the drain in my shower. NO NEED TO PANIC!!! Once again, I knew exactly who to call…Norfolk Air!!! I have recently used Norfolk Air for their Plumbing services last month due to the flooding issues I’ve experienced over the years living in the city of Norfolk. This company always display a high level of positive customer service and knowledgeable professionals, so there’s never a doubt in my mind as of who to call to service my need. (Also, if you need someone to service your HVAC there are great for that too!) I called round 11:30am in the morning and was greeted by a customer service representative to set my appointment for the same day! (My apologies for I forgot her name) By 2:40pm in the afternoon I received a text from their professional service technician, Darrion Williams-Gibbs letting me know that he was in route to service my need. What I love about Norfolk Air is how they try their best to pair you with the same Technician that serviced your home if dealing with the same problem, in my case my plumbing. Mr.Gibbs and Mr.Deven arrived at my home in a timely manner with bright smiles on their faces despite servicing my need on the hottest day in the world!!! They were both energized and ready to tackle my 2nd time around plumbing issue. They took their time to assess the problem and within 2hrs my bathroom and shower were restored to its proper function!!! My plumbing issue was FIXED again!!! Please don’t get discouraged by this review for I do have an older home and by living in Norfolk, a city known for severe flooding, plumbing issues are bound to occur. I truly thank God for Mr.Gibbs and Mr. Deven! I have a fairly small bathroom and they were both able to get the job completed without stepping on each other toes. What I mean by that, Mr. Gibbs & Mr. Deven work well together! They make the perfect duo to tackle any plumbing issues you have with your home. They communicated effectively and respectfully to each other. It’s obvious that they both love their professions because they treated my home as if it were theirs. They stayed on task from the beginning until the job was completed. Might I add that there was no hesitation or frustration displayed while both of them were working in my small bathroom. Mr.Gibbs & Mr.Deven both have high experience and knowledge of plumbing, problem solving, and professionalism that is beyond any 5 star rating!!! Even though both technicians completed the service, Mr. Deven cleaned my bathroom including the shower to its original state!!!!! All I had to do was put my shower rug and towels back…you would’ve never know I had a plumbing issue that’s how CLEAN it was and SMELLING GOOD TOO! I cannot say this or stress this enough… My family and I truly truly thank God for Mr. Deven & Darrion Williams-Gibbs from Norfolk Air!!!! Thank you soooo much for taking the time read this review and continue to have a Blessed, hydrated, and cool weekend!!!!

My heater went out and it was the high of 34 that day. Within a few hours we were able to get Gordon out from Norfolk air and he was able to explain what was wrong and was able to fix it within the hour. We had heat back on by mid day! Thank you very much again Gordon!!! 10/10

Trenton not only helped put my mind at ease and helped me understand everything. He did such a thorough inspection that he helped me identify another issue that if he hadn’t found could have led to thousands of dollars of damage to my home. Having a company that you can trust to truly take the time and have technicians that are knowledgeable and listen to your concerns is invaluable. I definitely recommend and plan to reach out again if I ever have any other issues or concerns.

Eric has been to our house multiple times and is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We know when he walks in that he’s going to have answers, and fix the issue properly. We’ve been using Norfolk Air for about six years now on multiple projects, and they have all turned out really well, from general plumbing and new tankless water heaters, to a Generac and general HVAC service. I have to be fair and say that it’s pricey, but the work really feels worth the price when the job is done. I would highly recommend them for any of the services they offer.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but our most recent experience with Norfolk Air needs to be shared.

We’ve had a maintenance contract with Norfolk Air for about 5 years, which included routine visits for upkeep on our AC system. We originally signed with them in 2019 after calling their after-hours support during an AC outage just before a hurricane. They quickly got us up and running that night, excellent service at the time.

Fast forward to now… our AC stopped working, so we called Norfolk Air. They informed us they were fully booked for the day and advised us to call back after 6 PM for after-hours service. When we called, we were met with an incredibly frustrating AI phone system that wouldn’t connect us to a live person or trigger a callback. After finally figuring out how to bypass it, we managed to schedule a technician for that same evening, which we initially thought was great.

Without going into personal details, the technician who showed up turned out to be the worst experience we’ve ever had with any trade professional. He didn’t perform a thorough or even correct inspection, misdiagnosed the problem, and gave us a quote for almost $2,000 which was completely unrelated to what the real issue turned out to be.

The next day, we contacted a reputable local family-owned business. They arrived promptly, correctly identified the root cause of the issue, and provided photo evidence while explaining how it could have been easily prevented with proper routine maintenance. This revealed that Norfolk Air had been charging us for years for maintenance that was never properly performed.

Needless to say, we’ve cancelled our contract with Norfolk Air and will never recommend their services.

Update: Our AC has been fixed by another company. The part that needed to be replaced was located in a unit inside our house. Norfolk Air did not even investigate this unit and diagnosed an issue with the outside AC unit which turned out to be false.

This company charges very high prices, but I wanted the job done well and quickly. That’s not what happened, they sent 2 guys, one was getting trained and he didn’t know he needed to walk on the joist while in the attic. I don’t blame him. I can’t believe they sent someone out on a job without the most basic of training. This is gross negligence about the safety of their customers and employees. While walking in the attic he caused a a crack in one part of the ceiling and his leg went through another part, leaving a giant hole in the ceiling. They’re lucky the guy didn’t get seriously injured. They did hire someone to fix it, but I still needed to move all the furniture out of the way for that job, clean off everything that got fiberglass insulation on it and go in the attic to spread the insulation after the ceiling was fixed (because they didn’t). They didn’t even leave me the insulation that fell, they took it with them… it could have been put back. Their taped patch didn’t even hold and opened while my daughter slept and more insulation fell into the room.

Matt Smith completed routine maintenance for my HVAC system. He arrived promptly in the provided window and got right to work! He was super professional and I feel confident in my HVAC system.

Love this team! Never felt they were selling me for the sake of making money. Presented me with different options for what I needed. They do follow-up preventative maintenance to stay compliant with the warranty. Amazing all around

I just recently had my HVAC systems cleaned for the winter and the technician, cameron knowles was so detailed about cleaning the systems. He spent a long time on each unit making sure that it was perfectly clean. He was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend his work!

We hired Aaron To install vents in our bathrooms. He was knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and on time in his delivery. One of the best service experiences we’ve had. Would gladly work with him again!
