Fair Mechanical was recommended to us by a friend of our tenant to troubleshoot air conditioning issues. Service was prompt, thorough, and professional. Most importantly, servicing technician laid out the pros and cons of varying options in dealing with the problem, and educated us on the present vs. possible future costs of each option.

Matt came and troubleshot our heat and fixed it for us! He was very knowledgeable, patient, and explained everything in a way we could understand. We will be requesting Matt for all our HVAC service in the future.

This company is amazing, I called yesterday because our HVAC unit was dry cycling and not pushing hot air through the house. The lady answering the phones was amazing and very tentative. She assured me a technician would be out between 8am-10am the next morning. Although, a friend was able to come take a look at the unit for us last night and diagnosed and fixed the issue (compressor just went bad) I called the company right at 8am this morning, when they opened, and left a voicemail explaining the issue was fixed and they didn’t need to send out a technician. However, a lovely polite gentleman showed up almost immediately after. I explained I had just left a voicemail and the issue was already fixed. I am very impressed that the technician was able to get to us at almost exactly 8am. This company so far seems amazing and I will definitely be using them for any further more complicated issues with our HVAC. Although hopefully there won’t be any!

After receiving a pricy quote from another local company I decided to reach out to fair mechanical for a second opinion and I am very glad I did. Matt was able to come out the next day and give me a thorough explanation of what exactly went wrong and provided a much more affordable fix. Scheduling was a breeze, Matt was able to come back out and get the parts installed quickly and efficiently. He explained the importance of maintenance and showed me a few things to keep an eye on in the future, fair mechanical will be my go to hvac company from now on!

We had an issue with our heat pump so we called Fair Mechanical to come check it out. It was a tricky, intermittent problem, but after extensive testing and effort, the technician, Matt, was able to fix the problem. He even came out after hours on a Sunday evening to put the part in so he could get it fixed as quickly as possible. Not only was he super knowledgeable, but he was also very polite. Danny and his team at Fair mechanical, will always be our go-to for our HVAC repair and maintenance! I absolutely recommend Fair Mechanical!

They were very responsive, Matt was very helpful and is a great technician. His helper (cant remember his name) was also very knowledgeable. We were up and running in 3 days. It only took 3 hours to install the new furnace.

I have always had good experiences with Fair Mechanical. They have always responded quickly and sent out knowledgeable techs to keep my HVAC system running. Recently our heat went out and a tech went above and beyond to find out that our furnace wasn’t really the issue- it was just a loose wire inside the system! Our furnace stopped working when it was 39 degrees outside. After trying to troubleshoot ourselves, we called for assistance. Fair Mechanical booked an appointment for 10:00 the next morning. The office called to see if they could come early. Steven arrived at 9:30. He was cheerful, polite, and wore shoe covers before entering the house. He did the necessary troubleshooting, made the repair, and cleaned up after himself. What a relief to have a professional, knowledgeable young man who respects the homeowner while performing professionally and efficiently. Kudos to Fair Mechanical for their prompt attention to detail and commitment to hiring quality staff.

After calling around and getting different qoutes, I ended up going with Fair Mechincal because they had better pricing, higher quality units, and they actually seem to enjoy the work of HVAC. After everything was installed, I couldn't be happier with the results. The crew who did the install was friendly, polite, and wasn't afraid to answer any questions I had. Ultimately, everything turned out very clean and my HVAC is working like a charm.

My 19 year old heat pump was failing and could not be updated. I called Danny, the owner of Fair Mechanical, because of a recommendation from a friend. He was there within 2 hours, did a thorough assessment of the situation, and gave me three options. I chose the high efficiency unit (which cost more) because of an available rebate. The unit was installed within a week. Matt (a wonderful young man), also instructed me in programming and setting the thermostat. I've had a recurring issue with my almost 3 year old hvac, so I decided to call Norfolk Air to verify if faulty electrical in my home was the root of the problem. I also had a surge protector installed. Mr. Barry Haley was very polite, professional, and informative. He answered all of my questions without hesitation. I liked that he explained price options and did not just hand me the most expensive quote. He cleaned up when the work was done. He even gave my needy dog some attention. I have to add that the ladies that I spoke with for appointment scheduling were also very polite and informative. I feel that these employees went above and beyond. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
