Kefficient just finished incapsulating our crawl space. They also put in a new sump pump and dehumidifier. My husband and I are so happy with the job that was done. Brandon, who was the manager, kept in touch with us and was very helpful. I did call him once to see if we could extend the drain pipe for the dehumidifier; he got back to us very quickly with the answer of a YES. Ernesto was the on the job supervisor. He and his crew always arrived on time and their work was commendable. Their work performed was very hard work as my crawl space entrance was not easy to get through. When we started looking for a company to do this, Sean Yeatts came out and spent a couple hours inspecting our crawl space and took pictures of it to show us what we needed done. There was no pressure from him at all. This is a 5 star business and we highly recommend them. This company also gives a senior discount.

Darryl was our site lead and he kept us informed each step of the way … very professional and the results look amazing!! They did a great job protecting the existing plumbing and duct work, sealed completely, insulated the gaps between joists at every edge (even under the edge at the garage!), walked me through the electrical that was done, and he led a really nice crew, too :)

Update 1/4/2026: We had programming, functionality, and instructions/owners manual unavailability issues with the original dehumidifier (Humidiguard wifi brand) installed. We requested a unit replacement with an AprilAire E100W (wifi) brand. Mike Andrews immediately acted upon our request and contacted Damon (General Manager) which in turn called me back immediately. A week later Brandon (awesome technician) showed up and we had our unit replacement installed as we requested. The new AprilAire unit is up, running great, and of course, we are completely satisfied with the replacement unit and customer service provided by Kefficient. This is what we call "An Awesome Customer Service". A big shout and "Kudos" to Mike (Estimator), Damon(Gen Mgr), and Brandon(Technician) for a monumental customer service. Look no further; We are extremely satisfied with Kefficient and highly, highly recommend the company. Call them and ask for Mike Andrews for an expert and honest crawl space assessment. 11/15/2025: We are very happy with our home crawl space full encapsulation job by Kefficient. Mike Andrews (Home Inspector/Consultant) arrived promptly for our appointment and explained the problem clearly and provided a detailed estimate to properly address the issues. Mike listened carefully to our needs, concerns, and preferences and provided expert guidance throughout the design of the work process. Mike and Kyle Shaw (Project Manager) kept us informed every step of the way and promptly addressed our questions or concerns. It was a pleasure to work with Mike, Kyle, and the work crew from the initial consultation through the completion of the project. They both also responded promptly to our texting and email questions and or concerns. The craftsmanship and attention to detail from the work crew, Andres, Ramiro, and Enel was second to none. The finished space is truly impressive. This work crew always went the extra mile to accommodate minor and extra request from me that were noticed as they were working. This work crew was just plain "Awesome". The finish product really exceeds our expectations, and we’re grateful to Mike, Kyle, Andres, Ramiro, and Enel for bringing our vision to life! Should you hire Kefficient for your crawl space work, I recommend you ask for this crew by name; you will not be disappointed. I would like to note that communication with the office personnel is very poor; they take forever to call or email back if they ever respond, Unfortunately, Do Not Waste Your Time! I learned quickly that is best to communicate with either your Home Inspector/Consultant and or your Field Project Manager if one is assigned; they both provided a great customer service. This is a 5 stars crew and Kudos for them! Money well invested. I highly recommend this crew.

We recently finalized an encapsulation project with Kefficient and can recommend them as a good company that takes care of its customers. The encapsulation looks great.

We ran into a few minor issues, but Kyle, Jerrell, and Damion were responsive and made sure we were taken care of and that the issues were addressed promptly.

We also had a Kefficient team (Klaly, Mia, and Katia) come out to do duct cleaning. They did a great job as well!

Wonderful to work with, and we developed a truly personal plan. The whole team kept me apprised at every step and they maintained an extremely clean work area. I did multiple bids and their proposal was detailed, presented clearly and very reasonably priced.

Kefficient did a fantastic job encapsulating our crawlspace and we are pleased with the job they did! We initially met with Brad who patiently answered our tons of questions regarding encapsulation in general. Kyle was the project manager and I appreciate him being easy to communicate with via phone and also offering several in-person drop-by's to answer questions and ensure the proper work was being performed. The installation team (Fabricio, Anthony, and Urbano) were very nice gentlemen who worked hard and happily! We did have an issue with our abnormally large crawlspace door not having an airtight seal, but Kyle heard our concerns and sent out another team member (William Lee) to properly fix the door. We appreciate Kefficient and the great job they did!

We had our crawl space encapsulated and our duct work cleaned. The crews were all very professional! Kyle was our project manager on site and he was FANTASTIC! Always kept us in the loop and expected top quality work from his crews. Wiiliam has been very helpful, informative, and kind as we navigate leaks and possible foundation issues. The Duct Cleaning crew was top notch! Klaly, Mia, Katia, and Devra worked extremely well together. The showed great care in cleaning EVERY air vent in the house. It was noisy but they worked quickly and had the job done in a few hours. Again, the team was informative and professional. I would recommend Kefficient to anyone needing work done in their home.

I am completely satisfied with hiring Kefficient to encapsulate our crawlspace. We have a 1950's ranch that had standing water in the crawlspace, so we got quotes from a number of RVA encapsulation companies. Keffiecient was the least expensive of them all and proposed a much more complete scope of work than the other companies that offered less expensive quotes.

The work was top-notch. Brad was communicative about the status of everything. They even planned their work around our summer travel. They also coordinate great financing options that other companies did not offer. Even the inspector pointed out the quality of the encapsulation work.

The thing that I was most impressed with is this: Despite the encapsulation being done very well, the insulated crawlspace door was initially not made well and there was some damage to our brickwork. In the final walk-through, I mentioned that the door wasn't up to par. They totally agreed. They had people come back without me needing to pester them (thank you William Lee!) that did a great job re-making the door and repairing our brickwork. I had already paid and everything at this point, so they could have ghosted me. I think this really reflects their commitment to quality work.

I recently had significant mold, moisture, foundation and wood rot damage in the crawl space and basement area of my 41 year old home. I received 4 different evaluations and quotes for services. After evaluating, I chose Kefficient because I felt they were the most thorough, detailed, knowledgeable and professional with their quotation and explanation of services. I felt secure with their plan of execution. They were not the least expensive but were competitive and I felt worth the extra expense. I was correct, and am VERY pleased. From the crawl space crew, encapsulation crew, the water drainage crew and Klaly and the duct cleaning crew, I could not have been more pleased with the quality of work, attention to detail, daily and final cleanup. The supervision and daily update provided by my Project Manager, Kyle, was superb. I even had a visit to my home to explain the repair process from the General Manager, Damien and owner Mark who cleared up a minor misunderstanding on my part. But, they came personally to insure I was completely satisfied. I was. I would recommend Kefficient to anyone who needs their type of services. I'm comfortable with their quality of work and long term warranty and services.

Brad was great to work with on going over what Kefficient could offer with its products and solutions by encapsulating my crawl space. They delivered on time as promised with encapsulating.

Project Manager Kyle was an absolute pleasure to work with. He kept me updated with communication every step of the way on the progress of the project. He was very thorough and sent over pictures as well. You can tell he truly cared about the outcome of the project and my satisfaction as a customer, always ensuring no question or expectation was not prioritized.

Elmer’s crew did such a great job, please never get rid of a crew that works as hard as they do. I was amazed at everything they accomplished within only 3.5 days. As somebody who has had extensive experience training in MOPP gear in the Army, I know firsthand how hard it is to do all of the work those 2 guys had to do in all that gear. They weren’t just hard workers, you can tell they have true dedication in their craftsmanship. Their attention to detail on getting everything installed perfectly was impeccable.

It’s hard to get a great sales manager and project manager that takes pride in standing by their customers like they do. But even harder to ALSO have a crew doing the hard manual labor that take pride in their craftsmanship to the level these guys do.

I hope nothing but the best for everybody on my project. My last request as a customer is for them all to get special recognition for their dedication to providing the best product possible.

I was incredibly impressed with the services provided by Kefficent! My 25 year old crawlspace had mold. They cleaned the crawlspace so well it looks new. The encapsulation was quick and painless. We had them back a week later to clean the ducts and the attention to detail was top notch! The best part, however, was team that came both times Brandon, Darryl, and the whole crew were unfailingly polite and professional.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. This process is expensive and the horror stories I've heard from others made me very nervous but Kefficent was amazing from the first call to the follow up after.

We hired KEfficient to encapsulate our crawl space, and they did an outstanding job. The space is only about 18 inches high, but the crew handled it with skill and professionalism. They worked hard, cleaned up daily, and were always respectful of our home.

Kefficient just finished encapsulating my crawl space. The process went smoothly. Before the team started, Kyle (lead tech) gave me a thorough overview of the project. Each day, Kyle covered the day’s plans. He recapped at each day’s end, following up with photos. His team, Fabricio and Randy worked tirelessly, professionally and thoroughly. The result is neat, clean and, as contracted.

We bought a massive fixer upper that needed waterproofing and a lot of TLC. Kefficient was certainly a competitive price, but most of all, they listened, showed up on time, and OVER DELIVERED - and the communication every step of the way was spot on - even in this crazy snow/ice storm. Our project manager was Brandon, and I would go over to the house the check on the project and Brandon was always there to discuss what was going on and his energy and excitement about our project got me excited. I hired Kefficient to install a perimeter drain in my crawl space and also complete a full encapsulation. I received multiple quotes for the project. All were around the same amount, but Kefficient provided the most complete scope of work. Brad and Brandon did a great job of keeping me informed on the project, and Daryl the foreman executed the project flawlessly. Daryl and the crew were very professional and respectful of our home. For any foundation work I would recommend Kefficient 100%.

Kefficient is an easy company to do business with. We needed to have work done on our crawl space as it had a moisture problem. It was easy to schedule an appointment and Daniel Breed, an inspector, arrived promptly on the scene. He did a thorough examination of our crawl space and came up with a repair plan. Joseph Torres who followed up with me to help schedule the work, to explain payment plans and to answer any additional questions that i might have had. The stellar crew that came to my house was led by Ricardo Centeno and also included Khalil and Adiel. They came and worked in spite of the snow and freezing rain. They were diligent, polite, punctual in arriving as scheduled and worked extraordinarily well as a team. I couldnt be happier with their work. And….they cleaned up after themselves.
