They got a free $125 out of me! The charge your card before the job is even completed. The man answering the phone is extremely rude and had excuse after excuse as to why the maid didn't clean properly. She didn't dust, she half cleaned the shower, and did not even vacuum because her vacuum broke! Save yourself the hassle and find better, more politer cleaners!

Maid Right offers excellent services and amazing customer service! The team is always friendly and professional and they do a wonderful job cleaning our home.

I paid $300 for a “move out clean” & let the cleaners into my home. I came back after they finished & the place was still dirty. I spent an hour cleaning myself, which obviously defeats the whole purpose of hiring cleaners. When I brought this to the owner John, he was VERY rude for no reason. I was polite, I didn’t even ask for a full refund, but I expected at least some of my money back for the trouble. John flat out refused. For reference- I had a similar issue with another cleaning company back in 2022 & they resolved it immediately & KINDLY.
I don’t want to work with a business that can’t correct their mistakes. This could have been an easy fix but now my experience is entirely soured.

Carol and her crew came in and did a move out clean. They did a wonderful job with everything except one thing I will get to that in a moment.
First I need to say these folks have good communication I was emailed and texted a reminder of my cleaning day.
They did forget to clean the bottom of my refrigerator they came out on 12-19-2025
I didn't check the fridge after they finished everything else ( yes my fault). I knew I forgot something in the fridge on 12-31-2025 I took the drawers out of the fridge low and behold it's not clean. I sent a text on the same day to let John know and asked to be compasated for not cleaning this. No response about my text. John called me today 1-9-2026 I asked him about compensating this he said sorry it's been to long to do anything about this. For this reason is way I only gave them a 4 star..

We used Maid Right for two cleanings: a move-in cleaning for a single-family home ($350) and a move-out cleaning for a rental single-family home ($250). We chose them because they provided the most affordable quote, and we were comfortable with a standard move-out clean, but several core items were missed.

Positives first: scheduling was easy, John was courteous, and the team arrived on time. John also followed up twice after the cleaning. Due to our timing, we weren’t able to fully inspect the rental property until the day before our move-out date.

They did a good job on some items, including the microwave, countertops, bathroom surfaces, and vacuuming.

The main issue was the move-out clean. Several items were missed or only partially cleaned, including standard-height glass (sliding door, shower door, and windows), a closet that wasn’t vacuumed, visible handprints on surfaces, residue on the fridge water dispenser, and portions of the shower door. The floors were also left sticky after mopping.

There was also inconsistency around glass cleaning. In the initial quote email, the limitation was described as windows beyond reach of a two-step stool, but after service I was told glass cleaning is not included due to safety concerns. In our case, the missed glass surfaces were standard height. This mismatch in scope/expectations is a primary reason for the low rating.

To be fair, their email did mention oven cleaning requires the self-clean cycle to be run first, and I missed that detail.

Because we couldn’t fully inspect the rental until the day before move-out, we didn’t identify the missed items early enough to schedule a return visit. When I raised the issues, I was offered the option to handle the remaining items myself or have someone come back out; however, I was told a re-clean by the next day was not possible. Given the deadline, I completed the remaining cleaning myself (about 2–3 hours).

Overall, punctual and organized on scheduling/follow-up, but the move-out cleaning quality and completeness did not meet expectations (2/5).

Dora's Home Cleaning was recommended by my realtor but I was generally unimpressed with my experience.

I reached out for an estimate early on and they would not commit to a specific time until the day of. When I followed up on that day, they finally gave me a time, which came and went without further contact or anyone showing up. They later messaged me and indicated that there was an emergency that stopped them from coming and that they would give me 20% off the move-in cleaning if I still wanted to move forward. I decided to give them another chance but again they provided an unclear window of when they would show up for the estimate, so I had to be in place while waiting on them. Their estimate came in at $310, with it being $270 total after the discount, and I agreed to let them do the cleaning.

The day of the scheduled cleaning, their only commitment was that it would be "around noon" but they would confirm via text. Instead of a confirmation, I got one of the cleaning crew staff knocking on my door announcing their arrival. While the crew staff were pleasant, I was not particularly impressed with the "deep cleaning" provided, as several areas (especially windows and bathroom fixtures) were skipped and appliances were no better cleaned than I could have done myself in the same amount of time. Ultimately the cleaning was good enough to move in but now I will need to do a true deep-cleaning myself post-move, which is unfortunate.

The payment process was annoying as well, since the Zelle information provided was incorrect, so I had to go with Venmo.

I was not a fan of the general lack of professional behavior and cleaning efficacy they evidenced and I would not recommend them.

Dora's Home Cleaning is the best decision I have made for my home. I started with a "Deep Clean" after a Master Bath Reno and continued using Dora on a regular basis. I have since recommended Dora's Cleaning and everyone has been extremely happy! Her staff are Professional, Kind and Trustworthy!

I was really excited to use this cleaning service as it had been recommended to me. I hired them for a deep clean for a new property we were moving in to (while the house was still empty). Unfortunately there were so many surfaces and spaces of the house not cleaned. Light fixtures were dusty, molding was visibly dirty as well as interior doors. Corners of rooms and against baseboards not vacuumed. Crumbs still in kitchen cabinets which had been discussed as part of the deep clean. When I let them know, they said they could come out for a touch-up, which is nice, but that’s not feasible for me as I have a newborn and am very slowly unpacking with stuff everywhere, so it would be hard for them to get around and be able to do a good job. That’s why the move-in clean was so important to me. They gave me a $20 discount since I never scheduled the touch-up but it was definitely not a $330 cleaning job.

I’ve been using Dora’s Home Cleaning for a while now, and they never disappoint — but this last visit while we were away on vacation was next level.

There is truly nothing better than coming home to a spotless, fresh-smelling house after traveling. Everything was immaculate — it felt like walking into a brand new home!

If you’re on the fence about scheduling a cleaning while you’re away, do it. You won’t regret it. Coming back to a clean home took a huge weight off our shoulders and made the end of vacation so much smoother.
