They were professional. I called them on Monday, they fixed my A/C by Thursday. While I waited for them to replace my compressor, they loaned us units to keep our home cool. Professional and courteous. They acted fast, quick moving.

Excellent service, solved my problem the same day and very competitive pricing. Would definitely use them again.

The world of heating and cooling companies is filled with an abundance of price gouging, dishonest, and technically challenged companies. Not so with Your Community Heating and Cooling. When was the last time someone apologized when the cost was more than the initial estimate (an air handler needed a complete rebuild, not just a minor repair)? Rakim is all the things you want when your heating or cooling is out - prompt, thorough, fast, efficient, reasonable and honest. He’s also invaluable at preventive maintenance. Why go anywhere else?!! A very happy RVA customer.

To see a 5 star review is rare. But these guys are worth it! After Taylor Heating and cooling FAILED to fix my AC, Community Heating & Cooling came out at 7pm just to look at it, being that i had a new baby in the house and it was 100 outside. They stated that they couldn't fix it today (which was a Thursday) and they could come back Monday as they were completely booked up the next day. They went as far as to offer portable AC units to hold me over!

When they came back out Monday, they weren't able to see anything wrong. Rakim of Community Heating & Cooling stated that he can't confirm the issue, BUT had an idea of what could be wrong based on what has happened already and past experience. He said if I trusted him and he fix it blindly, the responsibility was on me. I said do it. He replaced the inside fan motor due to an intermittent issue. It has worked ever since! There is something to be said about a person's experience. 5 states folks.... thats all I have to say. I will bring using them again to put in a reme halo system, which they recommended and are the only installer of the system in town.... i know, I called around.

These guys are great. Our heat pump/ac unit conked out on one of the hottest days of summer. Your community arrived first thing in the morning diagnosed and repaired a coolant leak, recharged the unit and had everything working right away. No charge for a warranty repair. We highly recommend them

This father/son duo is awesome. The father came to my home within an hour of me contacting him. Unfortunately my unit was frozen and he was unable to complete the diagnostic test that day but of course he already knew what the issue was. He scheduled my appointment for two days later due to scheduling. He explained to me what the issue was even though he couldn’t diagnose the problem. After he left, he sent me two text messages providing me with additional instructions on how to melt the ice on both units and stay cool overnight. Worked like a charm! The son came to fix my AC unit. He completed the diagnostic test promptly and we called the home warranty. He efficiently explained the issue in detail to the home warranty rep and the claim was approved 5 minutes later. He also explained everything along the way which is one of my pet peeves. So, KUDOS! Thanks again for the great customer service! My air conditioner works better than it did when I bought my home.

Can't say enough good things about this company. Prompt, professional, intelligent, capable, pleasant, informative, honest. Twice they could have told me the air conditioning system was worse than it really is. But they didnt. They were honest. I trust them. Will call on them again as needed.

Ramon arrived on time and was very professional. He listened to my concerns and addressed all questions with his knowledge and expertise. Looked at my units and identified issues and fixed. Prices were reasonable.

Always professional and on time. They came out to do a diagnostic of my unit. It was first thing in the morning and the unit was not making the noise that triggered the service call. Immediately they offered to come by later that same day once it’s hotter in the day the unit might start producing the noise. Hassle free and super accommodating. Highly recommended.

If the best is what you’re looking for then look no further. I will NEVER and I mean NEVER use anyone other than Your Community Heating and Cooling for all of my heating and cooling needs. I’ve learned a hard lesson, one that thousands of dollars later I’m still paying for now. If the price or deal seems too good to be true then more often than not it probably is just that, too good to be true.
