Rakim always responds promptly whenever there have been issues with my HVAC unit and even when there were issues with my mom's system. Within 24 hours he is there to diagnose and the service fee is reasonable. In 2015 he replaced my unit and has been the first place I call for service and system issues.

Your Community Heating & Cooling is an excellent local small business consisting of father and son. YCHC had excellent reviews on Thumbtack and were very responsive to my request for a tune-up. I was able to make an appointment for the following day, and they called me when they were on their way to my home. Service was courteous, prompt, and clean. They offered their annual comfort plan without pressure, and I am looking forward to continuing to do business with them.

I don't usually post reviews, but these guys did a fantastic job from start to finish on a new installation of my heating and AC system. They were friendly, competent, and reasonably priced. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Rakim and Charles came over to assess our system and gave us a upfront and specific details as well as options. He also beat other company prices. The install (entire system) was completed in a matter of 72 hours and I have also experienced my utility bill lower due to the system he offers/installed. Very courteous, well mannered, professional and respectful young men. Great to do business with and will refer him to anyone that I know.

This service call was a very positive experience. First, a response came very quickly after posting my project, and I had an appointment within a day. Rakim and Charles were on time, courteous, and professional. The issue with my thermostat was quickly diagnosed and repaired. In addition, they fixed an issue with sloppy and potentially dangerous wiring that was done poorly by the original installer. I will surely use them again, and would highly recommend!

They were very professional and good. They let me call and send pictures to see if I could figure out my AC problem as the offered walk through consultation on my own before coming, which could have saved me money. When I couldn’t make it work, they squeezed me in before the weekend and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. 5/5 and would recommend to anyone.

Rakim is an amazing tech. We had issues with our very new unit and Rakim took the time to diagnose and provide us with a reasonable estimate. It wasn’t that easy though and more had to be done and he was very helpful and considerate. He talked with the tech support and had our back on making sure we were being treated fairly. Every step of the way he was letting us know what was going on, how he would fix it and next steps. As a new home owner, it was great to find such a stand up tech in our area. I was able to book online, which was simple and I could see what time slot were available. They had availability within 48 hours and the tech was personable, and efficient. Got my heat up and running the same day and all for $200! Not bad at all. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Rakim is one of the best service providers that I have worked with in recent years.
In addition to very good price, he and his son do very professional technical work with no call back issues. This past winter I had service on a couple of jobs with fast response and work completion. One job was a complete new HVAC and ductwork install and second was an emergency repair call on a freezing late night. Both have been working excellently since Rakim's and his son's attention.

The technicians were very professional. They arrived within minutes after contacting them. Fortunately for me there was only a simple glitch with my a/c unit. The technician explained the problem and took care of it within a couple minutes. Their work speaks for itself, and more importantly they are trustworthy.
