Craig and his team do a fantastic job! We have been using their landscaping services for about a year now, and could not be happier with how our yard looks. They have helped us find solutions to issues (most recently installing gravel in our parking area), and are always responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this company.

The GSU team installed garden beds on either side of my front steps. They were timely from start to finish, informative and helpful. Ivan answered my many questions thoroughly from beginning to end. My house looks more welcoming now and I am so pleased to have gone with Greenside Up after getting the recommendation from an arborist. It was well worth it and I will definitely do more work with them in the future.

Great company to deal with on a variety of projects. Installed sod in my front yard a bit late in the season (my fault, not theirs) and a couple of months later it still looks amazing and healthy! Hired them to mulch part of my property - arrived on time, completed the job
in a timely manner and even (more importantly) - cleaned up when they finished. Entire crew is great! Will hire them again!

Excellent landscaping contractor! Very easy to work with. GSU did a great job installing 7 trees for a privacy fence in my back yard. They are punctual, professional and the end result was excellent. This is my 2nd time working with Craig and Bill and I will contact them again for my next landscaping project!

I had an appointment scheduled for June 13, 2025 at 9:30am, it is 10am and no one showed up and I tried calling the company it is nearly impossible to talk to anyone. I guess no one wants to answer the phone calls or everyone is running late. Not even a courtesy call, very unprofessional.

We have lived in our home almost 30 years. Both the front and backyard bed plants needed to be cleaned out and replaced. Last fall we did the front and in spring had something blooming all spring and summer. This fall(22) we had all ivy and debris cleaned from back and replaced with perennials and all mulched. We are very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism of the team. Thank you GSU!

I highly recommend Green Side Up Landscaping. We hired the company for landscape design including both hardscape and plantings. They were able to create a beautiful patio area for us. The crew was very skilled and nice to work with. The landscape design took into consideration all of my requests. I was surprised I did not have to go back with any change requests. I was also pleasantly surprised that the entire job came in under the estimate.

I look forward to using Green Side Up for my next outdoor project.

We worked with Craig and the Green Side Up team to clean up our yard, grade, add French drains, dry creek bed, 4 ornamental trees, define flower beds, expand our irrigation to the backyard and install sod. During the process they were very responsive to any issue or question we brought up. It’s Day 2 after completion, but so far we are pleased with the way it turned out and so are our neighbors! They were comparable to other landscape quotes we received and overall we chose them because we valued their communication and responsiveness.

We had GSU do a complete landscape installation. We gave them a plan we had drawn up by a local landscape expert and they executed it beautifully. They had to tear out our existing front beds to reinstall new, and install brand new beds around the other 3 sides. They were extremely professional every step of the way, communicating when they had trouble finding the exact match of plants and suggesting alternatives. Their on-site foreman was friendly and extremely polite, making adjustments I requested as to plant spacing, etc. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for landscape services.

Not happy with their service any more. Initially, they did a better job than any other landscaper I’ve tried so far. Now after the first growing season has started, things have gone downhill. They slipped into the same groove that all the others found: they zip in, mow the lawn, and zip back out, as fast as humanly possible. They leave weeds and vines that were part of the original job description untouched. They left the hedges untrimmed for months until there were two foot tall spires growing out of the tops and the windows were becoming obscured. I had to nag for three consecutive weeks before they finally showed up and did the job. The excuse was that these things are done on a quarterly schedule. Well, my shrubs and weeds do not grow on a quarterly schedule. I'm easy to deal with (if you do a good job), so I suggested an upgrade in the contract to cover the things that were not getting done in a timely fashion. I have repeated that request now three times, with no response whatsoever. I don't like having to complain to get a contractor to properly do a job, but I certainly would rather complain that pay good money for substandard services. Showing me disrespect by not responding to my emails was the last straw. Now, on top of all the other things I have to do, I have to interview another dozen so-called groundskeepers, hoping to find just one who can be trusted.
I should also mention that I let them bid on doing my front walkway. The design they suggested was drab and unattractive at nearly twice any similar bid. I suggested one change to try to make it more palatable, and never heard back from them about it. Not impressed. They just do not seem to be interested in doing anything but lightning mowing and collecting monthly payments. This is a truthful depiction of the service I have received, and this review will not be retracted or edited.

We have been using GSU for several years and our yard has never looked so good! From mowing to mulching, leaf clean up to pruning every job is done professionally. GSU is top notch in service and communications with their clients.
