I have had several projects completed in addition to regular lawn maintenance. I had a drainage problem that they resolved and now my gutters drain properly and the water is carried away from the house. I recently had some overgrown, old dying bushes removed and new sod installed. It has transformed my front yard. Trevor and the crew are great to work with and do fantastic work. They even do “odd” jobs such as fixing a railing around my basement well. Thank you Trevor, Roberto and crew!

We’ve used Green Dreams lawn care services for several years. This spring, they completed a large patio and landscaping project at our home. The team worked with us to bring our design to life. They were responsive, flexible and detail-oriented to get the job done right. I’d highly recommend their services.

Trevor and his team were fantastic. From the moment we met him, I knew he was just as excited about our patio renovation as we were. His team arrived on time each day and cleaned up after the project was complete. The team was professional, respectful and a pleasure to be around. Green Dream helped us refresh our back patio from a dreadful “blah” area to a backyard oasis. We cannot wait to spend more time outdoors!

I started using Green Dreams in 2017 quite by accident when my normal lawn care company was too busy to handle the aeration and over seeding; they referred me to Green Dreams. I called and scheduled an appointment. The team showed up on time and did a great job. The spring of 2018 brought a thick full lawn to a once lousy contractor job(new home construction). I had them come back in September of 2018 to do the same job. I was concerned by mid-October that the grass was not coming in properly and called them. They scheduled an appointment for a weekday at a specific time. To my surprise Trevor (the owner of the company) came out as scheduled and walked the yard with me. At the end of our walk he suggested that they re-do the work and said they would take care of it. At that point Trevor left. An hour later he returned with equipment and seed redoing the entire yard himself. I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH HIS HONESTY AND INTEGRITY.
Based on my great experience with Green Dreams I took their reasonable bid to install an irrigation system. Again, the team did a great job and my lawn looks Southern Living picture perfect.
All work was done as promised and backed up with their service guarantee. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. I can’t say enough for their ethics, integrity and value.
Finally, there isn't a week that goes by when someone stops and asks me about my lawn. I have even had people knock at my front door to to esquire about the lawn. My answer is very simple: Green Dreams does a FABULOUS JOB!

Green Dream was recommended to me by several neighbors, and I'm so glad I heeded their advice. One side of our front yard needed some serious help with landscape design and water runoff issues. It was very patchy and ugly, and I had trouble finding plants that would give our house great curb appeal while also thriving in a highly shaded environment right under our beautiful magnolia tree. Trevor came up with some great ideas to make it look awesome while also serving our practical needs. He recommended installing a french drain and capturing most of the water runoff on that side of the house, and adding a nice cobblestone border to define the new beds. He also made all the plant recommendations, which I loved because I had no idea what would work well in this shady spot. His crew was timely and efficient, and Trevor checked in each day, which I appreciated. We are very pleased with the overall work and definitely plan to use them on future landscape design projects.

Last Spring, we had the worst yard in our neighborhood. Trevor, the Owner of Green Dreams, put a plan together and executed it. Overgrown shrubs...gone! Unhealthy trees...gone! We didnt even have a blade of grass in our backyard before they started. Drainage lines had to be installed, then the yard was regraded, with new top soil added!

Green Dreams put in a sprinkler system and new sod was laid perfectly!

They arrived exactly when promised and Trevor even worked alongside his men.
This summer, we have the BEST yard! Love and appreciate all of the time and hard work Green Dreams did for us. We are truly grateful. 😊

From my first phone call to get an estimate, Green Dream was truly a dream to work with. Everyone is pleasant and kind, and Trevor took my idea for my backyard and made it even better than I could have imagined. They have been responsive and timely - from estimate to completion my project took only 4.5 weeks, in the summer. The guys who came to do the work knocked it out in just 2 mornings, and they worked through some rain.
I did a patio, new stairs on my deck, and got beds put in around my garage. I had plants already, which they were more than happy to plant for me after prepping the beds. The work on my patio is absolutely top notch. The pavers are high quality, and the patio is perfect - level and sturdy and beautiful. I contacted Trevor with Green Dream Landscaping to discuss issues I had with standing water in my backyard as well as around the foundation of my home. He came and did a walk through the yard and quickly went to work mapping out the plan to run the water away from the house. He was professional and polite and honest with the costs of such a project. As a homeowner, I was leery about the project and cost but couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. His team came in and hand dug the trenches and even worked through the rain to meet the deadline. He used Seven Hills Electric to wire the sump pump, and Jeff was great, showing my how the pump will operate. I had a previous contractor put a sump pump under the house before move in 3 years ago, and this was not done correctly, which caused more water issues and damage to my flower beds over the years. Now, my backyard is functional again, and all the water has been diverted appropriately. Thanks again to Trevor and his team for such a great job and giving back my yard space!

Trevor, Jeri, and the whole team at Green Dream delivered an exceptional result to my major backyard renovation project. From the very first contact, Trevor was eager to earn my business by immediately enlisted the support of a skillful landscape architect to come up with a stunning proposal for my project. I got other quotes, but Trevor was the only vendor who actually listened to my desires and put them down on paper. It took a few passes before we settled on a project that met our design needs and budget. I'm sure Trevor had spent a fortune before we even signed on the dotted line. His eagerness and pre-existing portfolio were all I needed to take the leap, and I'm really glad I did. Our backyard was pleasant before, but now it really makes you say wow. We had a couple of surprises along the way (a huge drainage problem and some major erosion around the concrete pool surround), and his team just fixed it all with very little cost overruns. I can't wait to have gatherings by our new firepit. The detailed work of the deck builders is incredible. These aren't just landscapers, they're artisans, and I'm super grateful to have found them. I met Trevor (owner of Green Dream Landscaping) and knew immediately that he was a sincere, competent landscaper. He was so personable and walked our entire yard pointing out how he would handle all of our landscaping. He was knowledgeable and confident with all that he did and said and never once hesitated at any questions I had. He predicted it would be two weeks yet in a week, he was at my property and finished all that he had promised. He trimmed all of our bushes, removed two old trees, planted a new one and removed all the overhanging tree branches from the woods onto our property! We were amazed and the hedges are so precise. Perfectly shaped and all the beds were clean with no hint that he had ever been there. Exceptional service, amazing speed and complete confidence. I would highly recommend Trevor and Green Dream Landscaping and plan to continue our service with his company for years to come.

I cannot say how much I loved working with Trevor and his team! Trevor came out quick and gave me an estimate almost immediately. The work they did was also super quick and I can say my drainage issues seem to be fixed based off this past rain! They even put down seed for where they had to dig up, can’t wait for that to grow! If you’re looking for help with drainage issues or adding a concrete patio, Trevor is your guy!

Trevor and his team did an amazing job with our patio and pergola! While we had an idea of what we wanted, Trevor helped turn our ideas into a beautiful and usable backyard. From beginning to end, Green Dream was incredibly prompt and responsive, and we can't recommend Trevor and his team highly enough!

We hired Green Dream Landscaping for a large residential project, which included landscaping, hardscaping and the addition of irrigation in our backyard. The total contract price was $76,225, which was paid in full. We've had several issues with the quality of both Green Dream's products and work, from hardscaping that lacks sufficient mortar (acknowledged by the owner, Trevor Danneman, himself) to trees (now 3) that started dying 6 weeks after planting. Over the last 3 months, I have contacted Green Dream 3 times via email regarding these issues and they will not respond. As you can see from other recent reviews, this appears to be a pattern with Green Dream. I have been forced to file a DPOR complaint as it is apparent they have no plans on taking accountability.

It's worth mentioning Green Dream was also hired to take over all of our standard lawn care last year, including maintenance of our garden beds. The total they charged for the annual maintenance contract was $4,609. See the last two photos of what one of my beds looked like the day I finally terminated their services. I did express my unhappiness with the owner and let him know I would be posting these photos online, which he did not seem the least bit bothered by. The best part of all this? They continued to send me monthly maintenance invoices for 2 months after their services were terminated, which they blamed on "system issues" and made no attempt to resolve in a timely fashion.

As a small business owner myself, I refrain from posting negative reviews of other small businesses. However, in this case, Green Dream's ongoing lack of responsiveness (despite 3 months' worth of attempts to resolve this prior to posting an online review and filing a DPOR complaint), poor quality work and complete disregard for their client's experience once they get paid, makes me believe that a review is warranted to help protect other clients.

We loved the wall so much, we had Green Dream out to do a patio and it is awesome! We are doing so many projects around the house but the patio is definitely at the top of the list. We couldn't be happier and can't wait to schedule another project with Trevor and his crew at Green Dream!

Trevor and his team built a retaining wall for me and it is AWESOME! The stone is beautiful and I am getting compliments constantly. They were fast, courteous, and cleaned up when they were finished. I have ZERO complaints. In fact, I am 100% going to use them for a patio next year. 10/10 recommend!

Trevor and the Green Dream crew were amazing to work with. They installed a new parking area, retaining wall, new steps, a fresh curb cut, and relocated an outdoor light post. Our project had a lot of moving pieces (and a few constraints from the city of Richmond). Trevor was thoughtful in his understanding the scope of work and his approach from day one.

The crew was best in class, showed up bright and early every day and did an outstanding job on every piece of work. Trevor would check in often and any time I had a question, Trevor and team always had a "can do" attitude. The project turned out just as my wife and I envisioned and we are now able to safely get our cars off the busy road and into a dedicated off street spot.

Now I am brainstorming a few other projects that I have had in mind and hope to have the team back soon...!
