I recently had a Fan motor replaced in my heat pump system. River city did a highly professional job in completing the service in a timely manner. I have had River city do work numerous times in the past and can always trust them to diagnose the problem correctly and make prompt repairs at a reasonable price.
Brian did the most recent repair and I would recommend him very highly.

Brian has been our service agent for years and this is our second unit from the company. Brian is professional, personable and provides excellent work. Nothing but good things to say about Brian and River City Heating and Air.

Only my goodness. What a great company! Our heat pump quit working last month and my Home Warranty company sent River City Heating & Air to work on it. Technician Danny troubleshot it, identified the bad part, and notified the warranty company.

We discovered that the part for my very old system was no longer available and I would be getting a brand new system. I am a "research it" guy and a "details" guy so I researched heat pump brands and options.

Ute was my main POC in the office and she was phenomenal! She answered all of my dozens of questions, always returned my calls quickly, and obviously has many, many years of experience and knowledge in this trade. She also made calls to the home warranty company and made sure I got the system that we (Ute and I) wanted.

Lee, Q, and Ryan installed our new system. Again, they were all very patient with me and my questions. They made sure they protected the inside of our home while they went up and down the stairs, and performed all the little details steps to make sure the system was installed to perfection. They were also very polite, pleasant, and positive, just like Ute. We moved into this house 4 years ago and upstairs has never cooled like it does now!

In these days when it's hard to find a contractor that will do the work, do it well, and do it in a timely manner: I cannot express how thrilled I am with every minute of my experience with Ute, Danny, Lee, Q, and Ryan. They have a new customer for life.

This review is strictly based on my experience in the lack of communication and customer service with this company as no work was performed. During the most recent snow/ice storm I requested service. in the area most people are dealing with icy roads/driveways due to freezing temperatures and lack of supplies. This company refused to pull in my driveway in their VAN. I made arrangements for them to park in my neighbors plowed yard the next day they refused to walk on the ice to service my home. The tech guy waited in his van for about 15 minutes then left no call or anything. I tried calling back 3 separate times no answer when I finally called from my husband’s number someone magically answered. While I’m not at liberty to put anyone’s safety at risk if this is an issue that you have had and you witnessed my street/ road conditions why not just decline the service instead of making me continue to wait only to be told after day 2 that you can’t service me. And the only concern you have is that you have had 2 technicians come out to waste time and money. Nevermind the fact I have no normal heat running. Horrible customer service and lack of communication!

I've been a River City customer for nearly 10 years and I've never been disappointed. I've enjoyed great service and reasonable prices. I especially like Danny as my regular technician. He's always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

River City Heating and Air is always on-time, professional, and communicative on that status of our HVAC units. If I have specific questions during a visit my technician Brian is super helpful and walks through any inquiries. We will continue to work with them for all of our HVAC needs!
