We had an excellent experience with the team at DNA Heating & Cooling. Derrick came out on short notice on a Saturday after our heat pump motor had failed. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and make the repair at a reasonable price. He gave us a lot of great information about proper maintenance of our aging system, and we signed up for their preventive maintenance schedule as well. Knowledgeable, professional, and courteous service all in one. We were very satisfied with DNA!

He took his time to explain everything to me in detail and went the extra mile to provide a number of solutions. Any conversation with him left me more informed and educated about my system, which I greatly appreciated. Derek and Michael came back to do some maintenance - they were incredibly professional and did some amazing work to have my system up and running like new. Any calls made to their service desk were always helpful and courteous as well! Overall great experience, would highly recommend DNA to anyone!

We had Derek come out for a late seasonal tune up and he was here for several hours assessing our system. Extremely impressed by how thorough and knowledgeable he was. By far, one of the most impressive home services I've ever had!

Before Derek came for a diagnostic appointment on my attic unit, I had TWO different techs from two different companies come out, because of my home warranty. Neither of the first two techs were able to fix the issue I was having in its entirety, in fact, the very first didn't do more than just look at it.
Derek spotted the issues within seconds, and fixed my attic system within a matter of a few hours, while he was already at my home for the diagnostic. I SO appreciated that I didn't have to schedule another appointment. He was knowledgeable, and more than happy to share any and all information. As a single mom on a budget, the cost was also incredibly reasonable.
I will NEVER trust anyone other than DNA with my HVAC!

Our old HVAC system was struggling and we knew we needed to have it replaced. Derek came out next day to take a look at it and gave us our options (tune-up, replace, etc). We decided on a full replacement with new duct work. They were willing to get the unit & ductwork replaced in our crawlspace within 2 days of us talking about it! When the day came for the install, they completed the entire project in just a day. Fantastic work!

Derek was absolutely amazing. While others companies don't explain anything they are doing to your system, Derek educated and explained every step of the way his process. I've never come out of service feel as confidence in a service ever.. highly recommend!

DNA came out to next day on a cold (17 F) weekend Sunday to address heating system issue. Great honest, thorough and prompt service. Highly recommend!

Obviously, the best part of the DNA experience was just getting my furnace up and running again. Fringe benefits were having someone really knowledgeable explain what and why they were doing in reasonable terms and doing it all at a reasonable price without trying to upsell me.

6 months into being a homeowner, my heat went out during the 2026 “snowmageddon.” I reached out to DNA on a friends recommendation. Derek came out a day later and made a quick and professional assessment of my problem and was able to fix it at a very reasonable price. DNA was the right choice for me, especially when some other contractors tend to be more “sales” oriented rather than focused on fixing a smaller issue in a normally healthy system. 5 stars

I had run into an emergency with my HVAC unit not heating my house after a snowstorm. I had called and they were able to schedule a visit to my house the same day. They provided texts keeping us looped when someone was coming. Derek was professional and prompt, getting a fix for our unit the same day. Highly recommended.

Hands down the most thorough A/C maintenance I have ever had. Derek offered suggestions for efficiency improvements but was not pushy or over dramatic.

He took pictures where he cleaned my outside unit which no one has ever even look at since it was installed, as well as my intake duct which is surely a source for my worsening breathing. He provided a trusted resource for duct cleaning and explained why he recommends them.

I offer DNA this deserved 5 star review knowing the busier they are the harder it will be to get them out. Totally worth any wait (well, at least now when it’s only in the 70s). I feel confident I have found my new HVAC team.

Derek worked some serious magic to install a smart thermostat in my house. He was able to trace the maze of wiring from my thermostat upstairs to my air handling unit in the basement and replaced the wiring to make sure my new thermostat (and any future ones that are installed) will work properly.

On top of all the great work he did, he took some extra time to look at other projects I’d like to have done around the house.

I can’t wait to work with Derek again the next time I need any HVAC or mechanical work. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, great to chat with, and does quality work.
