I’ve been a James River Air customer for years, and they always deliver excellent service. Recently, I had an issue with a stuck shower handle, and Joe, the technician, came out within days to help. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected — he had to replace old fixtures and access the pipes behind the wall — but Joe handled everything professionally and left the area clean and tidy. I really appreciate his hard work, dedication, and attention to detail!

Andrew just left my house and has made my furnace very Happy. Andrew has mastered his craft in all things HVAC. I will recommend Andrew and his company James River to everyone I meet. I was also impressed with his supervisor Jason and his recommendations for my HVAC system. Thanks fellas for your hard work.

Technician was very thorough in doing his job. He checked our unit out very good cleaned everything make sure everything was in great running condition. Found a couple things wrong and even showed me everything that he found what readings should be on an ant meter, and gave me pricing to repair everything. He is also set me up with the sales person to come out and talk to me about maybe replacing my unit since it is 11 years old, but other than that technician did awesome job very pleasant very considerate and everything as far as what he did come in in the house wearing booties over shoes and boots so that way he didn’t mess up our floors we’ve been dealing with James River for 11 years now and they have been awesome anytime I call to schedule something they’ve been able to meet my needs as far as when I need them to come when it’s gonna be a good time and what I have going on at home. They’ve been very good about my request so I will continue to deal with James River, they stay around staying in business for a long time

Both technicians that came, Daniel Rose and Donald Corey, were excellent. They did a great job. They were professional, courteous and answered all my questions. Most importantly, the issue was solved. And respond timing could not be better. The first tech was at the house two hours after my request for service. And then Donald came first time the following morning. I couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommended.

Just had James River out to perform our regular maintenance check on our HVAC system. Donald did a great job and made sure everything was up to speed and operating smoothly. I’ve been very happy with the services received from James River.

My repair man, Mr. James Farrell was timely, courteous, professional, and comprehensive in repairing the bathroom tub facuet arrangement.

James did an absolutely amazing job. Hearing your hot water heater is busted on the 2nd day of the new year isn't ideal or how you want to start off. However, he was very efficient and professional and that helped lessen the blow. Within a couple of hours he had everything fixed and replaced. We are beyond grateful for his diligence and hard work. With a 1yr old at home, there is lots of laundry and dishes and it isn't really something we could go days without. We already used James River for our heating and air, but will definitely be using them for any plumbing needs we may have as well. 10 outta 10, we recommend!

The James River HVAC technician (Donald) did an excellent job figuring out the problem with our heat pump and getting us back up and running. He was patient and knowledgeable in explaining the issues. Thanks to him and the office staff (Paula) for fitting us in on a busy Saturday. Outstanding customer service all around!

Sam Wiley from James River Air was fantastic for our annual maintenance on our gas furnace in our newly purchased home. He was extremely courteous, professional, and thorough during his visit. Sam ensured all components of our furnace system were functioning, and took the time to explain what he was investigating and answered all of my questions. He arrived during the scheduled window, and gave us a courtesy call to inform us of his arrival time. Despite only being an annual preventative maintenance visit, Sam did not appear rushed, and left us feeling confident in our heating system. Should we have any future repair issues, I would not hesitate at all to have Sam back out to perform work on our home.

I had a major water main break. I received a referral from a neighbor. From the time I contacted James River, their customer service was exceptional. From setting an appointment, to the completion of the work, the process was very easy. I would recommend James River.

Huge shoutout to James Wiley from James River Air Conditioning. He was professional, polite, and really customer focused. He took the time to go through every part of my system, explain what he was doing, and double-check everything after the repair. He waited to ensure my furnace was working perfectly before leaving. Excellent service!

Do I get a free paint job after one of the technicians thinks he can just force their way into traffic because I’m in a small car and they are in a van they don’t own? I’m not sure why anyone would drive with no regard for others on the road when the company preaches its customer service. I’m sorry there was traffic, everyone is in traffic, if you aren’t patient you shouldn’t be working in someone’s home.

I had an excellent experience with Donald and Saquon, the technicians from James River who came to repair my heating and cooling system. Not only did they do a phenomenal job, but they were also incredibly thoughtful and kind throughout the entire process. They took the time to clearly explain what was wrong with the system in a way that was easy to understand, which I truly appreciated. I felt treated fairly, respectfully, and with genuine care. I would gladly recommend James River, and especially Donald and Saquon, to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy technicians to work on their home.

Donald Corey is a tremendous asset and face of JR Air. He is knowledgeable, frank about what needs to be done, helpful, respectful and worked tonight until after 8:00PM fixing a system leak… expensive repair as wasn’t thrilled about that, but as far as service he’s top shelf. Don’t find service men with that kind of work ethic and customer satisfaction… explains and shows everything

We recently had a new HVAC system installed in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the team - Derek, Chase, and Aden - were kind, professional, and incredibly respectful of our home. They arrived on time for the installation and kept us informed every step of the way, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the process.

James with James River Air tackle and handle a very complex water heater job and did it with ease. It was an original water heater in my great grandfather 1953 house . Replaced it with a new efficient one he showed up on time, very polite and patient He answered all of my questions even mopped my kitchen floor after he finished Thank you for an excellent job!
