Very flexible and responsive with scheduling. The technician was helpful and thorough with his evaluation. The best part is there is no service fee so when he concluded his evaluation and didn’t recommend any service to be done the visit didn’t cost us anything whereas another plumbing service would have charged just to tell us we wouldn’t need any work done.

Would not recommend. Had a clog in the long powder room drain that was likely caused by the slope not being correct. Technician didn’t bother to go under the house to check to see where the clog was or if the PVC needed to be opened and unclogged that way. Instead he tried snaking from the toilet which then pushed the clog into the main drain (which impacts my other toilets). It cost an additional pre-approved $200 to then unclog that drain. He used Zoom Jetting (a form of power washing) which sprayed toilet paper and sewage water all over my crawl space vapor barrier (see photo). This was later cleaned up as best as could be but still resulted in sewage contamination on the barrier. We offered him a bucket to use to prevent this mess but he declined the offer. He also tried to say we might have a clog in the main sewer line outside that a camera would identify. Other than the powder room, we have never had problems with any toilet, sink or shower in the house nor noticed a sewage smell. A main sewer line problem made absolutely no sense.

Used Zoom Drain Richmond location last week for a sewer issue. Everything from start to finish went great! Booked online the appt, it had several options with a 4 hour window. A representative called and confirmed it. They came out as agreed. Kris the technician came out with 2 helpers. They listened to my concerns carefully looked at and diagnosed the sewer issue, and offered a few different suggestions. Some quick fixes, mid term and long term options. All 3 guys were so nice and helpful and didnt make me feel pressured at all for any service. I will gladly use them again and give them as a recommendation.

Their guy Phillip showed up on time, was up front about pricing and took care of business quickly and professionally at our small restaurant. Much different experience than the last visit from RotoRooter, who we used to use but definitely not anymore. Zoom will definitely be our new go to!

Phillip and his crew came out right away when our main line waste drain was severely clogged. They worked hard to remove the debris and cleaned up the basement perfectly. I highly recommend, especially if you have an old house with cast iron pipes.

Having an issue with your drainage lines is very stressful, but Zoom Drain was very prompt in setting up an appointment, explaining our options, and resolving the issue. Phillip previously worked at a residential plumbing contractor I used several times and when they told me he recently started Zoom Drain and referred me to him for the issue I knew I was in good hands. Phillip was absolutely great to work with: friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, efficient.

Our basement drain was not working and risking the health of very expensive heating appliances. I was terrified of incredibly costly repair to the pipe out to the sewer.

In the past, we had other professionals quote us upwards of $6,000 for repairs. Phillip unblocked the inner basement drain with his foot (there was plastic buried under mud. It was like a sixth sense on his part that others missed). That was free but invaluable.

Next he got the outside drain unclogged (it had leaf debris in it. Finally he replaced a pipe under the house for a drain that continuously blocks.

All told it cost me $1000. I tell you what best money I’ve ever spent, and Phillip made the process SO easy.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zoom Drain. A locally owned family business with friendly and efficient staff that make dealing with plumbing issues a breeze.
My teenage children let me know, a few days later, of a backed up toilet and shower in our upstairs bathroom.

Wow, was I impressed! I contacted Zoom Drain around 7:30 a.m. I received an immediate response, and called the company. Justin assured me that our issue (clogged toilet) could be repaired, and he gave me an approximate arrival time. As promised, the technician Austin called prior to let us know his arrival time. He explained the process and charges; made the repair, and collected payment after having me inspect the work. The whole encounter was done in less than 25 minutes! This appointment occurred 4 days before Christmas, which explained the lack of available plumbers. We heartily recommend Zoom Drain, and will be using their service again in the future. I’d like to add that Austin was knowledgeable, receptive to our questions, and humorous.

Absolutely Amazing Service. My toilet and sink were clogged. We had a competitor plumbing company come out to diagnose the problem. They claimed I had a major issue and would need a company that could use jetting technology to fix the "Major" problem. Absolutely terrified I called Zoom Drain as they have excellent reviews. The receptionist was very nice and scheduled a service call for the next morning. Austin and Jonah were prompt and extremely professional. They put me at ease immediately. They communicated every step of the way and had the problem solved quickly. Somehow a wash cloth got flushed. They were able to snake the drain and clear the sink too.
