The gutter cleaning service was wonderful! Our specialists even cleaned the leaves off the deck which was awesome! It’s too bad we can’t continue with Ned Steven’s as a company because they provide mosquito spraying services which is incredibly detrimental to our ecosystems. Otherwise we’d be a customs for life. If they ever discontinue this harmful practice we’ll be back.

One of the most efficient installation of any contractors I have used. Very good.

The workmen were quick and efficient. They were friendly and asked me to help them find the location of the dryer vent which I did. I did ask if they would like to come inside and also vacuum out the dryer. He told me no they only work on the outside. However, I wish they would also do the inside if I am home.

After I arranged the gutter service, two men came within a few days. They moved quickly and removed any debris and washed out the gutters. It seems like they completed the job within 15 minutes! Good job!!

My gutters needed to be cleaned and the rear gutter was hanging on by a thread. Ned Steven’s came out just one day after I called. Everything was so easy - I didn’t need to be home, they cleaned, reattached the broken gutter and disposed of all the waste. Great job!

Terrible communication, to the point of incompetence.

We requested a consultation about getting a new gutter last fall and instead they sent a crew to clean the gutters. I chased down the crew as they were leaving and they more or less refused to talk to us. Then Ned Stevens charged us for the cleaning service we didn't order.

We ended up getting a gutter from Ned Stevens anyway, but they sent crews 3 different times without ladders tall enough for our building, and I had to take off work every time. All I'd get was a notice after the crew turned away, nothing when they got there or why they left. I'd call customer service every time, but they always said they weren't able to contact the crew.

Less than two weeks after the gutter was installed, they sent a gutter cleaning crew and charged us again. They tried to convince us the gutter was full of debris and insisted we pay. Eventually, they admitted that was impossible and that the gutter didn't need cleaning. They said they wouldn't charge us for that non-cleaning and offered a free cleaning this spring as an apology. That cleaning just happened and now they're insisting we pay for it and denying they offered the free cleaning.

It's just shameful.

The Ned Stevens gutter cleaning crew did a great job! They arrived with all the equipment needed to do a thorough cleaning. They tidied up when they were finished, collecting all the debris they removed from my gutters. They were professional and courteous. And best of all, my gutters run clean again. I absolutely recommend Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning.

Staff called almost immediately after I requested a gutter-cleaning estimate online. Employee fully explained the process, which transpired just as promised. Workers arrived the next day to clean the gutters, and I was advised of their impending arrival via text message. Employees arrived on time, and were professional, efficient, and friendly. I was completely satisfied with the service provided.

Very efficient crew installed new gutters and two new downspouts. They removed the old gutter materials and were respectful of house and yard. I appreciated being able to arrange for three monthly payments using my credit card. They really try to work with the customer.

Ned Stevens has always done an excellent job keeping my gutters and downspouts cleans. Their people are polite, efficient and very unobtrusive as they complete their work. They also take great care to not damage my landscaping or the my house.

I have for many years used, and continue to use, Ned Stevens for gutter replacement and cleaning, and many other services they offer like mosquito spraying, exterior window washing, and deck cleaning. It was easy to schedule. They came quickly after I called. They have a lot of customer service reps. available to assist when you call. They did a fairly good job of cleaning up. I can’t see inside the gutters but what I can see appears to be clear.

Costs of various services were explained very clearly, and what we needed to do to prepare was super clear. I was a little skeptical of the window washing service - holy cow - amazing!! Not only are the windows super clean - the "before and after" difference is incredible! They hand scrubbed the moss off the window frames and sills and sliding glass door and sliding screen door. It looks like a new door! The power washing service was SO worth it!! They scrubbed all the moss of where the power washer couldn't reach. If there were 10 stars I would give it!!

We have used Ned Stevens several times. They do a good job but we likely won't use them again. I booked our gutter cleaning in November and it took them a month to get here despite charging our credit card right away. I called 3 times before they finally came out.

I want to be clear that this review is for customer service and company policies, not the guys who came out and did the work.

TL;DR - proposed a complete replacement after the first visit without providing any details or photos despite multiple requests and follow-ups. Gutters are less than 5 years old.

I usually pay about half their price to have my gutters cleaned, but thought the positive reviews may indicate better service, so I gave it a shot. The guys who came out were professional and effective. They left a note on my door that there were issues with the gutters and to call for more info. I would have preferred to speak about any issues on the spot of course, but they left without my knowledge. I also noticed a pile of wet leaves clustered in 2 corners. The GutterMaid by Ned Stevens website lists "what you can expect" on the homepage, and notes that the debris will be bagged and taken and photos of any issues/completed job will be taken. When I called, I let them know about the piles I'd noticed, and asked about the issues found and corresponding photos. The rep, told me that they didn't take photos as it was a safety issue, and it shouldn't be on the website. We went back and forth a bit, because, well, it IS on the website? He then noted that there actually was one photo that he would e-mail me, along with a report of the issue, and the guys would come back out and collect the leaves. Great!

The e-mail I received contained no picture, nor details, only a proposal and estimate to replace all of my gutters for about $1600! I'd informed another rep when I'd first scheduled about a dent from storm damage that I'd like assessed, but the roof (and gutters) were replaced 5 years ago. There's no way I need an entire replacement, and if I did, this is something to be talked through, not just plopped in an email with a 'sign here'. I emailed customer service and asked for more details, along with the photo...crickets.

The guys did come back out to collect the leaves. They insisted they'd did so the first time and took the debris with them, however I have no way of knowing that since I didn't see them leave, and I wasn't provided any completion photos; I only saw the piles. I do think they did a good job cleaning and flushing the gutters, one of which was very clogged.

However, customer service telling me there's "something" wrong with my gutters and proposing a total replacement with zero detail of any issue is a wild way to sell gutters.

Ned Stevens gutter cleaning crew did a great job, quickly and quietly cleaning our gutters and downspouts and cleaning up any residual debris. The crew was very friendly, polite and respectful. We have a contract for these cleanings and definitely plan to continue using them.

I use Ned Stevens once a year for gutter cleaning, although it is recommended by them that it would be done more often. I personally think that I do not get much leaves in my gutters, although feedback (which would be greatly appreciated) would help me determine if I need to go with more frequencies. So for now, I will continue to go once a year. Don't get me wrong, I "think" they are cleaning out something for the price that is paid- which is reasonable, but an extra confirmation would help with my peace of mind.

Outstanding! Ned's power washed the house and front porch and cleaned the windows and it looks like we have a brand new home again. They couldn't have been more professional and polite. This s our first time with Ned's but we are already huge fans and plan to schedule them on a regular basis.

Ned Stevens is a well oiled machine with great people from the guys cleaning the gutters to the team handling the phone calls. Our home is 50 years old this year and has had some issues with our gutters in recent years. They came and cleaned our gutters and ALSO repaired some gutters that had pulled away from the house at no extra cost. I recommend them.

They did a great job and were very efficient. Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning stayed in constant contact via email to ensure job was completed and to my satisfaction. I plan on using them again in the spring (2024) and I will refer them to friends and family.

They come out twice a year, and their work is always prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. With large trees near my home, it's essential to have reliable maintenance, and Ned Stevens provides just that.
