I'm incredibly impressed with Lauren from Wheat's Landscaping. While we weren't able to move forward due to budget constraints, her dedication to helping me understand the full scope of the work has been exceptional. She clearly recognized my limited experience and patiently provided invaluable guidance. I felt compelled to leave this review now despite not being able to move forward with Wheat's at this time. We've had a great relationship with Wheat's for 10 to 12 years. I called them because of the signs I saw at various parks and schools around McLean, where they donate time and materials in maintaining the grounds - and wanted to patronize a business that provided that kind of community service. Since then, they've been my go-to company for periodic turf and tree maintenance, more complicated projects like re-aligning below ground drain pipes and French drains.

We use Wheat’s for annual maintenance of our various baseball fields in Vienna. They are always professional, focused on quality, and customer service is top notch. They don’t consider a job done until we are happy with the level of quality, though we rarely have complaints. Strongly recommend.

Wheat’s was fantastic in helping us add more curb appeal to our home. The current state was overgrown and dated, and Wes and team managed to transform the space to be clean and open, while also making use of an existing Japanese maple that was completely hidden in the current garden. The design process was great and we are excited to see everything bloom in spring!

Once again, Wheat's did a beautiful job with our annual Spring Clean up. The crew was prompt, professional, competent, and thorough. Our landscape specialist was in touch before and during the scheduling and prep to make sure everything would be done as we asked. Now the garden looks healthy and is ready for the whole season. We have happy Wheat's clients for decades, and this recent experience is a testament to our loyalty!

Very pleased with their work, and cont'd work on our property. During the earlier one week+ on site project, the dedicated work crew was on time and on cue every morning, user friendly and helpful with concerns & questions. Really appreciate working with Kane Ramsey, who gets things done in a timely manner, a person who actually returns calls and messages, always there with advice and solutions.

Wheat's has been maintaining our lawn for several years now. They consistently do an excellent job, and the grass itself is healthier than it's ever been. They've also done some small to medium sized projects including installing drainage and repairing our front walk, and again, they were excellent. Highly recommend.

Wheat's has been maintaining my home irrigation system for going on two decades with consistently exemplary service. Over the years they have refreshed the system with new technologies that enable me to both customize and seamlessly manage the irrigation process. And I cannot help noticing that I tend to see the same service reps year after year which tells me they treat their people well, which leads to consistent customer service. I look forward to benefitting from their excellent customer service and care for years to come.

Working with Wheat's was outstanding in all respects - from initial consultation to the neatly finished job, done by a professional and courteous crew. More specifically, ours may have been a 'small' job, still, the treatment was first class. The designer, Kevin, offered a reasonable solution to what for us was a worrisome problem - improper drainage in a downward sloping backyard that was causing considerable soil erosion. We are extremely pleased with the results - - a dry creek bed, stone steps, etc., that complement the existing landscape of our small backyard. They also installed a flowering groundcover that will be awesome once it grows and fills in around the stone steps. I highly recommend Wheat's for landscape design and installation. Communications with the company, the designer and the crew were great. Everything was done in a timely manner. Our property looked neat, clean and beautiful when they were done. I have used Wheat's for years to take care of my yard, shrubs and trees, and sprinkler system. They are terrific--their customer service is top-notch, and they are very responsive to special requests and needs. I can't say enough good things about Craig Daumann and the whole Wheat's team.

Outstanding service. Pricing is consistent with all the other larger service providers that serve Vienna, VA. We are very particular but they have been outstanding!

On 4/23/2025 around 10:48am, the Wheat’s staff in this truck (a man in a white shirt with Wheat’s logo on left chest, in his 50s) caused direct fall of a scooter rider with injury from honking in a neighborhood while driving likely between 35-40mph. Upon addressing the matter in-person, this staff gave no apology and said he “didn’t see the fall” which further supports negligence of the driver. Upon calling the office, the reaction was not much different than the staff in the truck. I had a good impression on Wheat’s until today’s incidence. Now the weather is getting warmer, more people are enjoying outdoor activities including children and I am quite concerned of this behavior exhibited by Wheat’s. If you do really mean what you say to earn business from residents, please act as what you claim.

Wheats provides courteous and professional service. They are always a pleasure to work with. When a newly planted magnolia bush died due to over-saturation in the July daily rainstorms, they replaced it under warranty with no hassle. I strongly recommend them for basic lawn and garden maintenance.

Wheat's has been managing our property for several years and continues to deliver excellent quality work at a fair price. Their staff are all very professional and courteous and have quickly addressed any challenges we've had; Kane is our manager and has been doing an excellent job. We've worked with them for both routine maintenance of our property as well as new landscaping projects and we've been pleased with all of their services. Wheat’s completely redesigned my front yard and had all my neighbors asking who did the work. They regraded, removed a tree, installed a retaining wall and installed lighting. The design was thoughtfully done for an owner wanting very low maintenance. The work was completed in less than two days and without a lot of lead time. Highly recommend!

Josh and Sarah put together a gorgeous design for a complete overhaul of our yard. We tore out sidewalks, the entire front and sides and made some partial adjustments to the backyard. They listened to what we liked and hoped for in our project and we let their creativity do the rest and fully trusted their choices. When it came time to execution, Leo and his crew were incredibly professional. From the start of the day to the end of each day the crew worked so hard to get the job done. They were focused, kept the job site as clean as it possibly could, and treated me and my family with respect when we would come and go during the day.

We’ve received complements from neighbors and so happy with how things turned out! It’s already so gorgeous now so I can only imagine what it’ll be like as it continues to mature.

Wheats has been caring for our lawn and the outdoor space around our home for a little over a year now and they always do an excellent job. Apart from the ongoing lawn care, they also recently came out to remove a large dead tree on our property and the team was great. They are reliable, work efficiently and with care, and pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend.
