Our experience with Wheat’s Landscaping has been an outstanding one, from the initial design consultation to the execution of each step. Our design consultant had wonderful ideas, understood our vision and worked closely with us to make it a reality.

Our project manager and install crew were just amazing every step of the way! Robert, our project manager was informative and quickly responded to my inquiries. The install crew worked at our home for many weeks, improving yard irrigation and installing a flagstone walkway, irrigation system and many plantings. Their attention to detail was unmatched. I was most impressed by their efforts to go over and beyond in improving the function of our space and making it look great in the process.

After our wonderful experience with the design and installation process we signed an annual contract for lawn maintenance and have been very satisfied with the services. Again, the maintenance crew has been polite, detailed, quick to respond and have made extra efforts to protect and maintain our plantings.

Wheats has maintained my lawn for years and has managed special projects that enhance my yard. I don't think there is an area of my property that they have not touched. My lawn, plants, bushes and flowers always look beautiful. My grass is healthy and perfectly cut each week. Their spring, summer and fall clean-ups are thorough, and I don't have a weed anywhere to be seen. I never need to worry about leaf collection in the fall.
Recently Wheats installed boulders along my pool deck to ensure rain water and mulch did not flow into my pool. Their work was perfect. The boulders look great and blend nicely with the rest of my stonework. And, the mission was accomplished as no mulch escaped through this barricade during our last major storm. I highly recommend Wheats for all of your lawn and outdoor needs.

I have worked with more than a few different landscaping companies over the years but nothing has compared to the Wheat’s experience. From the very beginning, they have provided excellent customer service with a wonderful attention to detail. After working with other landscapers my yard just wasn’t what I wanted it to be. I reached out to Wheat’s for a consultation and was able to schedule an appointment easily. After the first meeting I knew that I had found the team that I had been looking for. Wheat’s designed and installed a beautiful stone patio, an attached screened in porch, and several different sized gardens. Every aspect of the outdoor space was well planned and communicated to me in a clear and understandable way. I was given several different options that fit into my budget which allowed me to get exactly what I wanted. The installation was handled perfectly and the communication of the Wheat’s team throughout the process was wonderful. The final result is beautiful and even more than I had hoped for.

Because of my stellar installation experience the Wheat’s team also handles all of the maintenance for my lawn, gardens, trees, and hardscape. Again, they are the best I have ever worked with. All of the teams do a wonderful job and stay ahead of any potential issues or difficulties before they turn into problems. My service manager, Pedro also shows up regularly to walk the property with us to make sure that we are happy with their service and the way the yard looks. I can honestly say that my entire property has never looked healthier or more beautiful and that is because of the hard work of the entire Wheat’s team. I will continue to gladly recommended Wheat’s to anyone who is looking for superior landscape work.

Fairfax County required me to do some maintenance on my home Stormwater Management Facility. I contacted several of the companies that had gone through the county training and was surprised that only three were willing to visit my property. I noticed a difference immediately, starting with the Wheat’s representative who came out to assess the job (Kane Ramsey). Wheat’s was very professional and comprehensive in their approach. They were willing to handle all aspects of the work while the other two companies wanted to do only portions of the work. I was pleased with Wheat’s attention to details in their visit and in talking with me about the job. They took pictures of the work areas and drew on them to show the specific areas that were going to be fixed. Wheat’s really made it easy to deal with one company and get the entire job done! Additionally, Wheat’s was accustomed to dealing with the county and documented the entire project in writing and with pictures. They submitted and secured all the required county approvals for me once the job was done.

Wheat’s finished the job very quickly once they got started. The crew was excellent and cleaned up the work areas completely. I am a completely satisfied customer and highly recommend Wheat’s.

The best landscapers. They went above and beyond and did extra things not even on the contract. Tom Lees was our contact and he is professional, and responds to emails. We will be contacting Wheats in the future, for sure.

We had Wheat's do a major tree removal and tree planting project in our yard. Their crew was fantastic. They were on time and working hard the entire duration of the project, 5+ days. They were great at communication and made suggestions and then adjustments multiple times. Best of all the work looks great and is a totally finished product. No mess left behind. We will use no one else but Wheat's for landscaping moving forward.

The crew from Wheat's did a fabulous job of cleaning my yard and preparing it for new landscaping. They took out a few trees, lots of overgrown and ramshackle plants, and an ancient enclosed flowerbed - two truckloads! Now everything is mulched and ready to go, and Wheat's will be helping with the design and maintenance. Solid, diligent, professional work all around.

We cannot speak highly enough of Wheat's and their team. We had a drainage issue on our property that needed to be addressed and Nathan was instrumental in correcting it for us. He was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining why we had the drainage problem and what we had to do to fix it. The communication of when the work would take place and progress updates after each day was excellent!

Wheat's has impressed us in our short time together so far due to excellent responsiveness and pristine work in our yard. With a large and intricate front and back yard that necessitates significant work and includes detailed areas, we need an excellent lawn/landscaping service. Wheat's was not only able to deliver a same-day quote for a service package, the pricing was reasonable for the large amount of work, and upon our acceptance of the contract, Wheat's immediately got to work and completely turned around the yard within just a few days. We are looking forward to their excellent care of our property in the future and highly recommend.

Wheat's is, in a word, mediocre. They purport to be a stellar business, but the reality is different... they do not care about customers. Their work is shoddy - the sod they put down died nearly immediately, and the tree died shortly thereafter. At the same time, prices are outrageous and customer service is abysmal. If you have a huge project with unlimited resources, Wheats might be your answer. Anyone else - look elsewhere.

We have used Wheats for about 8 years now and while they are expensive, they provide excellent service and do all the right things in my yard all year long including leaf removal. Nathan is our account Rep and he is great too.

We tried a cheaper service before Wheats and they made lots of mistakes and so paying Wheats a bit extra is worth it to us.

We've used Wheat's for several large landscape and hardscape projects, as well as routine lawn care for the past few years, and have been very happy with the work. The landscaping looks great, and our contact, Craig D., is extremely responsive anytime we have a question.

Wheat's does our Spring Clean up every year. It's one of my favorite days. In a single day, we seem to turn the page from winter to spring. They do such a thorough job of cleaning up the beds and cutting back what needs to be trimmed for spring's new growth. Once the borders are sharpened, they apply mulch. We have the best yard on the block!

Hired Wheat to reconstruct a multilevel shrub and flower garden in front of my house. The design included routing downspouts through the bed to appropriate discharge points. The crew arrived on time and completed the work as planned in one day. All debris was removed from the site and mulch was added as a finishing touch.
