Prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable! AIRight came out within a week of calling to schedule service for a dryer duct cleaning. Dana walked me through everything that needed to be done and was patient with my questions. Definitely on the pricey side ($550 for cleaning, replacement of hosing, and exterior vents/guards) but Dana was upfront with the costs. Would recommend.

Dana was very thorough and he took the time to explain everything about the duct cleaning process prior to starting the work. He and his crew showed up on time and were very polite, professional, and efficient. They kept us updated every step of the way and offered options to any issues then encountered. Highly recommend them as they did an outstanding job!!!

Airight was utilized by my property management group for some duct work in our rental. The work was fairly substantial, including the replacement of the entire trunk line in our attic and took up the majority of a single days worth of work. Overall, I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the team. Dana and Nate were quite personable, willing to answer questions, and went out of their way to explain the situation as it was being worked on.

I can wholly recommend this company for your needs based on their thoroughness and professionalism. Great quality work.

Dana and his team were extremely professional and most of all, HELPFUL! I had a clogged dryer vent and they quickly cleared the thick bird’s nest. Additionally, he installed vent guards on all of my vents. I was very pleased that he offered a military discount and was able to squeeze me in on short notice. There is no one better than Airight!! I will use them in the future for a full air vent system cleaning.

I strongly recommend this company. I switched to another company last year and it was not done properly. Airtight came out today informed me that my dryer duct system was very clogged. That means the last guy didn’t do a good job. I will never do that again. Airtight did a great job and made sure my vent was cleared. Strongly recommend them. I called Airight to clean my dryer vent. I spoke to Dana, the owner, and he explained everything very clearly and we set up an appointment for the next morning. Dana and his assistant were right on time, very professional, and thorough. He explained everything that they were doing, replaced an aging and decaying piece and cleaned up very well. I would recommend them and use them again myself.

Dana and his team were punctual and professional. I was explained every detail and every question answered. We had a few issues crop up in the process of the air duct and dryer vent cleaning that he was able to assess and repair. We are so thankful we decided to go with this company as we have been left with better air quality and a better functioning system. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My neighborhood requires dryer vent inspections. Since I was new to the area, I decided to use the tried-and-true Google. I noticed this company had a lot of positive feedback, so I decided to give them a call. They gave me an appointment for the next day. Could the price quoted have been lower? Without a doubt, given that I paid less for the same service in Northern Virginia. However, I have no regrets about using this company. They were really professional and went above and beyond the scope of the job. He even attempted to fix my rickety storm door!

Wow this team was amazing! We found mold growing on all the floor registers on our main floor (see “before photo” below) - which was especially concerning because I have three children under the age of four, including a six week old. I knew I needed this job done right, and done quickly. Dana and his guys got into the house and never stopped, they took me through every step of the process and explained exactly what they were doing and why. The fact that they took the time to physically show me where the problems were was incredibly helpful, and he worked with me to find solutions to issues as they arose. He and his team were polite, professional and efficient, I would absolutely recommend them!!

This company is very good at their job and did a great job cleaning my dryer vents and cleaning all the duct work in my house. This will be a very honest review and not meant to dissuade people from using this company. The one issue I had is that when I first moved into this house, I was sold a dryer vent cap and told that it was highly recommended to prevent birds from making nests. I didn’t really think I needed it then, but I trusted the owner and agreed to the purchase. About a year later I notice a good amount of lint building up on that vent cover. I called this company back and spoke to the owner about concerns with potential fires or clogging of the vent cap, he convinced me that fires were not a concern and that the cap was still a good idea. Fast forward another 8 months or so and the cap was completely clogged with lint and my dryer was not drying efficiently at all. I called this company again and got a voicemail that they were taking a break until February. I had to call around and find a vent cleaning company that would get on my roof and remove the clog and remove that vent cover. The company I used advised me that I didn’t need that cover and using the cover was not authorized by code. I was told the only reason people use those covers is if they already have an existing bird problem, but I never did. I felt like this was just an unnecessary option to make a little extra money, and this caused me more problems than anything else. It seemed counter intuitive to install something that would potentially clog something that was designed to vent hot air. Again, this is a good company, they do good work, I am just not pleased with the recommendation and Dana being slightly dismissive when I called about the potential issue I was having that ended up turning into a problem. In my opinion this is just an unnecessary fixture that he convinces people to purchase when in reality they don’t need it. This cover is only $10 at Lowes or Home Depot, but he charges around $75/80 to install it; bit of a rip off if you ask me. I’ve included a picture of how clogged the cap was.

Dana was super helpful! We bought our house, and before we moved in, we wanted a complete inspection and cleaning of the vents. I left a message, they got back to me the same day, and even were able to work me in that same week!
Dana started exactly on time. We were not yet in the local area, Dana worked with us to inspect, send pictures, and answer all of our questions. He was straight forward with us from the beginning on pricing, he recommended some additional hardware along with repairs. Dana got the ducts to where we wont even need to worry for another 5 years!
It's a great peace of mind knowing my newborn, and my family will have clean air while we live in Virginia Beach.
