Great plumbing service. Don has been able to be there for me in emergency, and also scheduled work. Friendly, knowledgeable, great work and fair pricing. If you need a good plumber, don't hesitate to call.

Needed plumber to come quick between other companies and fix pipe that caused water damage- came right away and fit right in my schedule. Quickly and professionally did the job and explained and showed what he did.
Polite, friendly, and cleaned up after.
Anything or anyone that made this horror of water leak and damage go fast and easy was appreciated by me.

I have had experience in the last 6-8 months with at least 3-4 different plumbing companies in the Hampton Roads area and when I say I'd call Don's plumbing services over all of them...I cannot emphasize this enough. I had one issue that was continuous (unable to be solved by all the other companies) and one emergency issue that they were BOTH able to complete in less than 24 hours of notification. The owner of the company himself saw to both issues and they were here for at least two solid hours. They were unbelievable thorough, caring, patient, communicative and unlike some other companies that just want to get in and get out as soon as possible...you could tell these guys really cared about doing it right..which is hard in this industry when its difficult to know who you can trust and who is just going to take advantage of you.

We had an "unbelievable" clog under the house. The first plumber didn't have large enough equiptment to complete the job and recommended Don. Don was surprisingly able to come over within an hour of me calling him. He had to deep snake all the way to the driveway twice. He and Shawn got the job done in about an hour! They were professional and friendly. Great Work Guys! Highly recommended!!!

I am so happy that I found Don the Plumber. He is the most pleasant and nicest plumber I have ever met, in all my time in Virginia Beach. He has helped us several times. He replaced all of our toilets and faucets in our bathrooms. He has fixed my supply line for the dishwasher and he just left after fixing the garbage disposal and pipes under the kitchen sick. I highly recommend him and you can tell him I said so!!

On Saturday my husband and I tried to fix our tub faucet from leaking. Well we ended up making matters worse. We called Don at 4:30 pm and he was at our place at 5:00pm. He couldn't fix our problem until Monday, but he told us what to do to solve the problem until Monday, which we greatly appreciated because we didn't know what to do. On Monday he showed up at 4 pm, which was the time I gave him. Don and his sidekick Shawn did such an awesome job!! They even replaced my toilet in the bathroom while they were here. They were friendly and very easy to talk to. Any question I asked they answered with no problems. We laughed and joked and they even befriended my dogs that literally barked at them until the last hour of their services. I highly recommend this business! I'm going to have them come back in a couple of months to replace my dishwasher because they did such an amazing job. I will always support small local businesses because they don't over charge you and they take their time to do things the right way! Don' s Plumbing exceeded my expectations! I just bought a house and after hooking up and running the washer, I discovered it drained into my kitchen cabinets! I looked online and Don's plumbing had 5 star reviews so I called. He was here the next day bright and early to assess the problem and start fixing it. Don and his associate Shawn were polite and prompt and got straight to business. I recommend their service to anyone.

Called them in the morning and they did their best to provide service the same day. Techs arrived early and wore masks to help prevent spread of COVID 19. Kendell and Shawn were very courteous and professional. They worked very efficiently to fix the issue and made sure toilet was restored to working condition before leaving. I recently had a plumbing issue at my restaurant (Famous Uncle Al's at Kemps River) and after doing some research and reading reviews I decided to call Don's Plumbing. After chatting briefly we scheduled to have him out the next day & things went great! This is one small business that you can trust! When I had a problem with my shower faucet, I made an appointment with Don right away. His receptionist is friendly, clear spoken, and flexible with making appointments.
Based on my description over the phone to her, we thought the entire tub / shower faucet might need to be replaced. However, when Don came out to work he recognized immediately that I only needed a new cartridge.
Don took the time to explain the faucet parts to me and how they worked, even showed me the old one and where it had broken and another piece had corroded. After taking photos of the old cartridge he and his plumbing assistant immediately went to the plumbing supply store and purchased an exact match.
What had stressed me out for over three weeks was fixed in only 2 hours! He even charged less than he initially quoted because the JOB WAS A SIMPLER fix! Honest & knowledgeable, all of the positive reviews are true! This is the plumber you should call. I'm glad I did & now his number is saved on my phone.

I want to let you know if you need anything dealing with plumbing then this is the perfect company to call out to fix whatever your problem is. I spoke with the owner and the nephew and both guys were professional. My toilet was draining out slow every flush and wasn't getting the water level back and they found the problem ASAP and fixed it. The prices are affordable and you will love the service. I recommend this company to all families

Called Don to fix I leak I had in the outdoor portion of my main water line into the house. He and his partner showed up on time, worked fast to fix the problematic portion of the pipe, and cleaned everything up once they were done (beyond what I believed necessary). They were knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions and explain what was going on. When I had a complication with a toilet later that day due to dirt that had gotten into the line, they came back the next day to fix it for no additional charge. I would definitely use Don's Plumbing again and would recommend them to others.

Note, I don't fault them for the complication. They did take considerable precautions to avoid it and checked that water was flowing normally inside the house before leaving. They asked me if water was flowing properly everywhere else in the house, and I simply didn't check everything I should have.

I contacted Don's Plumbing to replace an old direct vent gas water heater. Don and his partner came out on schedule and got the job done in a timely fashion, which included picking up a new water heater that I personally selected at Home Depot and disposing of the old unit. They always responded quickly whenever I texted or called, had good honest communication, were very professional, and kept the worksite clean. The best part was his price was over $2K less than another company's quote and I doubt that other company could've done a better job!! I highly recommend Don's Plumbing and will undoubtedly use them for all future jobs!

I called first thing this morning and spoke with Don. He was extremely professional and said he would be out by early afternoon. He called back a few hours later and was able to come much earlier than expected!! Once they arrived, Kendell and Don got straight to work. Called in the morning and left a voicemail for Don. I called back around 1pm on the same day and spoke to Don. I had his technician onsite to replace the wax ring on the downstairs toilet at 3:15pm. He was very polite and professional and completed the work in a timely manner without disruptions to my work day. I highly recommend and the price was very reasonable.

We contacted Don’s Plumbing to replace a valve on our fridge. They were able to send someone out to our house very quickly (the next day). Kendall arrived at our house and was able to assess the work that needed to be done and completed it timely. He was great and answered all our questions. Don plumbing is the the plumbing service you need. Very talented, professional and knowledgeable. If your issue isn't solved by him ,then only a miracle from heaven could do it. I haven't been paid for this but this is through my encounter with him putting a lasting solution to a big time mess by another plumber. This is the business we need, very trustworthy and dedicated - highly recommended!!!
