Christian is very professional and provides quality work. They took down 4 large trees in one day and correctly trimmed/ thinned out 4 others. Kono has a large team that knows how to work together and the right equipment. I have had trees taken down before, but Kono is a step above. I highly recommend Kono.

What a great tree company! No fuss at all, Christian gave us a reasonable quote to remove a tree in our back yard and they came and removed the tree in less than an hour, stump and all! Love them!

Kono came out and absolutely killed it! The way I found kono was on Facebook and the price they gave me made me think it was one guy and a truck. I was sadly mistaken when they had a fleet of professional, clean and maintained equipment ready to go and tackle my tree that was annoying me! They made quick work of it and I couldn’t be happier with the results! This mulberry tree was posing a big risk for our dogs, one being a service dog, and it had to go asap, and they were here as soon as they could have been! 11/10 would recommend!

We had Kona Tree Care come out to remove an old River Birch tree in our backyard and a tree that was between our driveway and my neighbors, and they trimmed up my Elm tree in my front yard. This crew is amazing. They worked quickly & efficiently and were very respectful. Christian is very knowledgeable & very thorough. If you need any type of tree service I would definitely give them a call.

Christian and his crew worked so fast and in sync. It was cool to watch them work. Great job felling 17 trees on our property along with stump grinding for a very fair price. Highly recommend Kono to any needing tree removal.

Highly recommend Kono tree service! They cut an 80 foot tree that was split. They were highly proficient using skid steers to load the branches into the wood chipper and thoroughly cleaned up. It was like they were never there reasonably priced and very professional even did some extra branches that I cut and took those for me as well. I would recommend to other’s in the Hampton Roads area.

Excellent tree care company. I was extraordinarily impressed with the exceptional skills of this team. Christian gave us a reasonable quote to remove a comprised Cypress tree that was positioned dangerously close to live power lines. The team worked efficiently together to get the tree down safely and quickly. Clean up was immaculate, zero debris left behind. Beyond thrilled we chose this company for a job well done.

Kono Tree Care took down a large Oak tree in our backyard in Va Beach. Christian and his team were on time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We had the tree removed, the stump ground down, and the mulch removed. Each Kono team member had a clear job and they kept the process moving along with ease. They cleaned up as they went, so we didn’t have to deal with removing branches and debris from the yard once they left. It was an impressive job from start to finish. Our neighbors also noticed the smooth operation and spoke to Christian about helping them out at their homes as well. Kona did an awesome job , cleaning up my tree in the yard as well as cleaning trees off my property line . They were efficient , clean up all limbs as well as got the needles off my roof and cleaned up leave in the front and back yard . The first picture is a before , second was after and the last was an action shot.

We had several large trees, as well as pruning to be done. We got 3 quotes from 3 separate companies, Kono Tree Care being one of them. The owner was quick, responsive, courteous, and VERY knowledgeable. He came out on time and did an estimate, we agreed on a price, he sent me the written quote and we were scheduled. Throughout the job he and his crew were truly amazing! They were respectful and cleaned up everything as it was before.
Out of the 3 companies, Kono was the ONLY one who was a straight shooter and not just trying to find ways to charge you for every last little thing. We will 100% choose them again for our needs.

We highly recommend Kono Tree Care. We were able to get a fair quote from Christian to take our tree down. They arrived on time and took the tree down in just over 2 hours. Christian and all of his team were extremely professional and courteous. We would definitely use them again!

What an exceptional experience! Kono Tree Care promptly returned my inquiry, and Christian was available to come out that same day to evaluate the trees and give us a quote. He took the time to explain what he and his crew would do, the why and how it would benefit the trees in our yard.
Scheduling the service was quick, and the crew arrived and got right to work.
It was incredible to watch them all collaborate as the climbers took care of trimming within the upper limbs, while the ground crew swiftly cleared the debris.
They laterally cleared 3 large trees, as well as ground down a large pine stump, and left everything clean in under 3 hours!
10/10 will be recommending this company to anyone that needs tree services!

I finally took off one of the projects that I had planned for my property! I had trees from my neighbor's side drooping down to my roof area, which left my roof dirty, and my gutters clogged up. I also had a few trees drooping down to the street that was on the way. Kono Tree Care came in for a free estimate and got me taken care of two weeks later. They came in on time and sidewalled two trees, elevated another two, and got rid of the bush growing around the small space behind my shed. They made sure I was happy with the results and cleaned up after themselves, including the mess that was left on my neighbor's area. They also made sure they cleaned up the few things that were left on the street. They also made a recommendation on one tree by the powerlines to save some money. They also told me how much should be cut on the tree to save it still, which shows how much they still care about your trees. While they're trimming down the trees, they made sure to catch it, leaving no damages to my property and piled it up nicely.

I have one tree between my neighbor and I that I plan on getting rid of down the line, and I'll be sure to call Kono Tree Care for that next project.

Christian and his team took down our massive red oak tree that was hanging over our house. They did a wonderful job at a great price, cleaned everything up, everyone was friendly. We will definitely be using them for the remaining 3 trees. Highly Highly recommend them!

Kono Tree Company is as professional as it gets. Hands down would recommend them to anyone looking for removal or simply cleaning up any tree you have that just needs some TLC. Showed up on time and got right to business. Customer service and attention to detail was excellent. Removed a fence panel and a few shrubs to get everything cleared out which went back in with perfection. Christian and his crew went above and beyond to take care of all surroundings while accomplishing a not so average maple removal with structures and a well maintained yard to deal with. Cleaned up my Oak tree while tackling the removal as well. Can’t say enough great things about this company he has built. Give them a call for all your needs!

There are many tree services in our area but we made the right decision in calling and hiring Kono Tree Care to remove a tree in our front yard. Christian and his team showed up on time and were friendly and professional. I think they really enjoy what they do and are very good and efficient at their job. The team did a really good job of doing exactly the trimming I needed, but what most impressed me was the clean up. I want to preface the cleaning comment with I did not have any trees removed completely. They did a lot of trimming and pruning much higher than I was comfortable doing myself. When the guys were done, I could not tell that chainsaws were used all around my yard. The sawdust, leaves and chunks of wood were completely gone. I had 8 trees pruned.
