Great service! They do great work, are fast, and leave with almost no trace. Even cleanup was as impressive as the tree cutting. Will use them again.

Dan was a true professional. It’s is a rare experience in life when I’m talked out of doing something MORE expensive because of a salesperson. He had a lot of knowledge, which he explained to me in layman’s terms. I would definitely use Dan’s tree service again.

DO NOT USE Dan's Tree Service!

The gal in the office is inept as they come. She gave us a 9/3 date for our project but they never showed up. I left call after call trying to get to Dan to get an explanation but he never returned my calls or emails. The office gal was the only one I could talk to and all she kept saying was that Dan would call you back. We got another date of 9/19 from her but I wanted confirmation from Dan. I followed up every call with an email. No return. On 9/12, I finally got a call from Dan saying that they would not be doing the job at all. The office gal f'd up and threw us under the bus to cover her mistake. Went with Johnny Timber. They returned all calls and actually showed up EARLY for the project and did a fine job. DO NOT USE DAN!

We've used Dan's Tree Service in the past and were pleased with the tree removal job they did. We called on them again needing some expert advice on a tree/retaining wall issue. Roman Alis, the Lead Arborist was terrific. I highly recommend this company!

Part I, November 18, 2020: Having used Dan's Tree Service a couple years ago successfully, I called Dan's again, when two dying trees need removal. Dan responded with a visit on May 13 to inspect and provide an estimate. An appointment was arranged for the work to be completed on July 17. However, Dan's office postponed that appointment due to exceptional July heat and humidity, and with some concern of COVID19. Another appointment was arranged for October 14th. The day before that second appointment, Dan's office called and again cancelled the appointment due to "emergency work" they were addressing in the wake of severe weather. No follow-on appointment was arranged at that time, but Dan's office advised that they would be contacting me. Come this past Monday, November 16, with no call from them, I called. His office immediately advised, "We'll be out tomorrow (Tuesday the 17th), but we cannot give you a specific time." Tuesday came and went; Dan's Tree Service was a no-show and there was no communication that they would not be arriving. Today, numerous calls and e-mails were made to Dan's Tree Service; there has been absolutely no reply.
Watch for Part II of this report, which I will provide within these reviews on what develops, either after we make communication, or when a certain period of time expires. I am hoping that in Part II, I will be able to provide a positive review.

Part II, November 24, 2020: Today, I am very pleased to report that Dan's Tree Service came through with "flying colors" in every respect. The day after I wrote review "Part I", I received a telephone call from Dan's Tree Service's office staff. It turns out that apparently, due to the virus, the office is on a limited days and hours schedule. This is likely the reason that I had been unable to contact them recently, or that it took a few days for them to return my calls. The office staff was most apologetic for the delay. During the phone conversation, an appointment was arranged for the necessary work to be completed today (again, November 24). Dan's Tree Service crew arrived as arranged, performed the tree removal work in a completely professional manner, cleaned up the entire area to perfection afterwards, provided some valuable advice on other trees on our property, and confirmed with my wife and me that we were completely satisfied. We are. So, once again, as after previous work Dan's Tree Service has provided in past years, I most highly recommend their service. I will certainly be calling them again, when and if we require additional tree service.

Dan’s Tree Service removed a sixty foot tree for us. They needed to reach it from the neighbor’s driveway. They were very considerate of that reality. They removed the tree and then cleaned up the neighbor’s property and ours. We were very pleased with their communication with us and consideration for the final appearance.

Excellent job! Cleaned up all the debris. Used safety practices in tree removals. Very happy with the work performed. Would definitely use them again. Also liked that the owner does the estimates on site. Only waited 2 weeks for job to be done.

Dan's Tree Service was great! They trimmed up several trees in my front yard, a couple in the back and cut down the rest of my pear tree that had split. They were professional, worked quickly, and charged a fair price. The yard was beautiful when they finished.

The estimate was fair. His knowledge of the trees in my yard for the estimate was excellent and helpful. The workers came and worked fast and safe. They took down 3 pretty good sized trees and left my yard pretty clean and neat. Reaching Dan by phone was difficult but he came about the same time he had indicated at the time of estimate. No complaints here. Great service.

Dan's Tree Service provided exceptionally professional service for a fair price point. Their staff was prompt, efficient, courteous, friendly and skilled. We plan to request their services again for another tree that appears to be dying. So thankful that they are in our area.
