The guys came out and did an awesome job.Before they left everything was cleaned up and looking very nice. Highly recommend this company to everyone.

Reasonable, prompt and friendly. We had 7 trees removed, they cleaned up everything while they worked and left our place cleaner than it was when they arrived!

Prompt to get out to you and provide a quote, but follow up and completing the work is a different story. Almost a month after a quote and still no work performed. Called to find out when I will be on the schedule, they took a message, never called back...do not recommend and will be cancelling and locating another tree service.

They do good work when they decide to show. I have been a customer for almost 10 years. I have called twice in the last month to have some trees removed. I was told the owner would get back to me, but I've heard nothing. Getting service from them generally takes 2 to 3 calls. I'm done with them.

Wow! Very impressed with these guys. They were on time and when they got here they got right to work. They left my yard cleaner than before and they even went around and cleaned up any trash that may have fallen ( I have had other companies leave their garbage everywhere.) You could tell this team knew what they were doing and knew how to do it safely too. They all wore hard hats and when cutting the trees everything went right where it was supposed to go. They are also quick and efficient. Last guy I used took a month to finally removed the last bit and left my yard a mess. I will definitely be using Top Notch Tree Service again.

Can't say enough about Top Notch! We have used them in the past and were very satisfied. Then today with trees down all over James City County from the storm, we called them to look at several trees that had fallen or were leaning. They were here within two hours to assess the damage and give us an estimate. Excellent response time and very reasonable estimate. Thank you, Mickey and Top Notch!

Hire them now and stop looking anywhere else. I got many quotes and I can already tell you they are the best price. Even if they weren’t, I’d still hire them again because they are literally the poster company for customer service! They were fast, friendly and cleaned up my yard better than it looked before they arrived. They truly are Top Notch!

Definitely TOP NOTCH. Micky and the crew are top notch indeed. Integrity. Honesty. Wonderful work ethics. Friendly. Went over and beyond for what was expected. Very accommodating when I needed to let my dogs out. Being a senior and especially the way things can go these days, it was a wonderful experience and very much appreciated. I have the company in my contacts and they will be who I will call for future tree services. Truly satisfied and so pleased.

The name, Top Notch speaks for itself. I was so impressed! The owner, Mickey called me right away and came out the next morning and the following morning the crew was at our house and finished the project in one day. A tree fell through our detached garage. The crew was amazing!! I cannot say enough about them! The were so pleasant to talk to, they got all our personal belongings out, even got our car out of the garage and it needed a jump start and they did that too! They turned the power off as well. They were the best tree service!! I recommend them to everyone! Also. co-workers, family members, friends and neighbors. The crew worked so well together as a team! Two large trees taken down. Job well done. They did what they were supposed to do. They were respectful of the property and cleaned up after they were done. No problems.

recently Top Notch Removed a number of trees for us. They were prompt with their estimate, came to remove the trees Within the time that they had quoted us. They did a spectacular job, several of the trees were difficult on top of an outbuilding that we had and they handled it beautifully. The yard was completely cleaned up, and I would highly recommend their work.

Came out the next day to give me a reasonable estimate and were available to do the work the next day. Mickey made recommendations for how to best handle the overgrown trees in my yard, educating me as to how the tree will continue to grow towards the light, therefore leaning over my house causing damage if it were to fall. They did an excellent job cleaning up the yard and even moved some heavy fallen limbs I had set aside to drag to the front curb for pickup. I was out of town at the time of service and they graciously waited until I returned for payment. I would definitely use them again. The other company only gave me an estimate for what I, an unknowing consumer, asked for. I appreciated being given options.
