We have discovered there are many people who cut trees. Chris is an arborist who have arborists training under him. He knows trees, whether one is healthy and just needs trimming or whether it needs to come down before it is obvious to the homeowner. They are punctual, everyone was courteous, professional and worked hard on site. We have other work scheduled in the fall to cable a tree, which is better for the tree to do in the fall than in the hot summer. This area has some beautiful old wood trees which add value to our properties. Using Paramount will help you protect that value and your trees.

Chris and his crew did a fantastic job. From the evaluation of the property, to the completion of the job, everything was done very professionally. Chris is extremely knowledgeable as an arborist and you can tell he has a passion for the work he's doing. We want to point out some of the things we thought pushed them over the edge in terms of professionalism.

Assessment:
* Chris attended our property, explained his process very clearly. * He made sage recommendations for what work should be done to maintain the health of our 50+ year old oak trees.
* He remained on site after discussions to take a better look at the trees, take photos, and develop a management plan.

Communications:
* Chris remained in communication with us throughout the entire process and kept us updated when one of his pieces of equipment needed to be serviced.
* Paramount Tree Services proposal and payment website is easy to use and straightforward. The proposal included a very detailed explanation of what was to be done, including photos.

Operations:
* Chris stayed on sight during the entire job
* He and his crew communicated through headsets, which allowed for him to relay commands and instructions easily while his crew were aloft
* Safety - it was very clear with each step of the operation that safety was a number one priority for everyone involved
* Everyone in the crew had what we would call a "uniform". This may sound minor, but when your entire crew is dressed the same, it just eludes a sense of professionalism.
* Everyone in the crew had the proper PPE (personal protective equipment). Again - showing that safety was a priority.
* The crew worked well together. One big thing we noticed is there was no yelling. You could tell this crew was working like a well-oiled machine, and that everyone had a role and carried it out together.
* The crew neatly stacked the wood we were keeping, and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards.

In multiple projects over multiple years, Paramount has become my go-to tree and landscape company. In my work, Chris is the first person I call for large and small projects in Virginia and now North Carolina. I depend on him for solid, scientific advice and he’s come through every time for years.

They came twice to my house; once for limb removal on multiple trees and then to remove an entire tree. The first time they did an excellent job as well as clean up - there was no evidence they had even been there except for the missing limbs! The second time for the tree removal was more complicated due to the location of the tree. Once again, no evidence of them having been there upon completion! Throughout both trips, they were friendly, professional and especially knowledgeable in all aspects of the jobs! I was especially impressed with the tree removal, considering it's location!
