We recently hired Delightful Gardens to complete a major renovation of our back and side yards. We are extremely pleased with their work. The project included several different aspects, including installation of pavers, resodding a large portion of our lawn, and installation of new plants and tree uplighting. Each step was completed professionally. We added an additional aspect to the original project and that was also completed within the original timeframe. We recommend them highly.

Ryan- I now have a gorgeous yard! Your landscape design was spot on with the effect I wanted.The very pleasant gentleman who removed my deer destroyed azaleas etc., did an outstanding job planting and mulching.. And, since planting the shade tolerant and deer resistant plants I am very pleased to report that even though the beds were full of deer hoof prints, not a plant was touched! Yay! Thank you for you and your colleagues exceptional work ( and I might add, at a very reasonable price!)

I have worked with Don Newsome for my planting/design/hardscape needs for more than 15 years. His expertise in what plants will do well in what locations is impressive, and his training in that subject matter at Virginia Tech is very evident. He also has a great eye for design. All the projects his company has done for me turned out beautifully and have held up well over the years. Also, he stood by his guarantee on a tree I purchased from him that had died. I would absolutely do business with his company again.

Working with the folks from Delightful Gardens has been a very enjoyable and rewarding experience. Matthew is a very thoughtful and precise carpenter and Juan is very knowledgeable about all aspects of proper plant location and maintenance. I have already recommended DG to my neighbors and look forward to working with them again.

Delightful gardens provided one of the very best contractor experiences we have had in the last decade. They cleared a large area, put in a French drain, planted the area and removed a concrete structure and several extremely large bushes. They showed up on time, did an amazing job of clearing and planting, took measures to prevent the equipment from tearing up the yard, and cleaned up all of the debris. Ryan, Matthew, Juan and Stephen were professional and extremely knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again

I simply wanted to schedule someone to come out and give me an estimate on fixing the freezer part of my GE refrigerator. First I could barely understand the attendant due to her accent. Not her fault….its mine because I just couldn’t understand what she was saying. Second she takes me through all of these questions and prompts only to try and pass me off to another member of her team for payment. I admit I got frustrated and just hung up the phone. I try to get things scheduled when I can get some time when I’m not working or not supporting what my family needs. I don’t really have the time to spend 20 to 30 minutes answering 21 questions. I normally don’t leave reviews but I thought it would be beneficial to let you know no matter how good your services are it defeats the point if I can’t schedule a technician to come out. Very frustrating!!! All I wanted to do was get someone to look at my freezer. I’m no closer to a technician than I was when I went to bed last night!

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave me a few pointers on how to get the most from my dishwasher. Very patient in helping me use my virtual credit card payment.

Tech was great, very polite and thorough. Ordered part and rescheduled service for repair. Took over a week to get fridge fixed. Thankfully it was nothing serious or I
would have lost everything in my fridge. On return took tech less than 10 min to replace $25 part. However full cost of bill $400+ which I found to be ridiculous.

He was efficient, on time and friendly. He was able to identify the issue quickly, and quickly fix the issue once the parts were received.

Very knowledgeable and provided me with realistic information. He took the time to evaluate my issues and fix my old dryer for the time being. It’s on it’s last leg.

Sears Appliance Repair, specifically Ted, was very thorough and kept us informed as he diagnosed our broken freezer. I would strongly recommend them, unfortunately I would not recommend the OEM of the appliance but that wasn’t Sears’ nor Ted’s fault.

We have had Luis come before. He has always been very nice and professional. I highly recommend him.

Fridge and freezer quit cooling. Had an appointment on Monday between 8 and 12. I received a text at 11:25 stating that they would not be able to come. Rescheduled the appointment for Tuesday between 8 and 12. Again I received a text at 11:30 stating they would not be able to come. They said I could reschedule for Friday same time. I wasted two mornings sitting around only to be canceled They should not make appointments if they can’t keep them. Lousy way to run a business

Unfortunately Sears was very late for both appointments that were set up, despite having a four hour window. Additionally they technician they sent readily admitted that he did not know how to work on my appliance brand/model and could not reach out to the manufacturer to help. Of course I was charged a service fee despite the appliance not being repaired.

Edit: one month later - still no refund. The 1-800 number listed below leads to customer service center. I spent half an hour working my way through selections then waiting for a person to be told that no refund request was ever entered and they don't show that the technician took the part with him. They will "enter a refund request and I should hear back in 7 days." In the meantime, I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company to ensure I don't get the same response in another month. I highly recommend avoiding Sears Appliance Repair.

I requested Jose return to my home as I was very impressed with is performance on a previous visit. This time it was my dryer that did not produce heat. Jose quickly found the problem, a clogged roof vent which did not allow the heat to exit the dryer. While Jose does not address this type of issue he suggested I contact a company which does. I am always appreciative of Jose whose technical skills and honesty are above reproach. Thank you for sending this wonderful gentleman to my home.
