A wonderful, locally woman owned company. I appreciate how quick Mr. Rooter was to make an appointment! As well as their ability to be able to schedule the work to be completed!

John our service man was amazing. They responded in a very timely fashion. We had a leak that needed to be dealt with and John did an amazing job. I could not rate them any higher. There are always our first call.

Although their schedule was full, they were able to work us in same day for our urgent repairs. Here's a shout-out to Leslie, our plumber! He was extremely knowledgeable and professional, he rapidly identified and fixed our problem.

We've used Mr. Rooter several times and been more than satisfied with their service. Our last service call was with Joseph who arrived on time and already knew what problem he came to resolve. Before he began Joseph showed us where the leak was and what was causing the leak. Then as he worked he explained exactly what he was doing to resolve our issue. Do note that Joseph placed a mat on the floor so that his tools would not mar our floor and that no water would spill on the floor. Long story made short is that Joseph fixed our problem in a relatively short time and that he was well-mannered and personable. Yes, we'll call Mr. Rooter again if we need help.

Also, Mr. Rooter staff have usually come to fix our problems within 24 hours! In addition to Joseph we also recommend Wyatt. Oh, I believe the charge was a fair charge.

Pure professionalism from the initial phone call to the end of my installation. My technician Daniel was very patient in explaining everything that was to take place. Not only was the installation done great ,found were additional problems with my pipes that another contractor had supposedly fixed. Finding this problem probably saved me thousands in damages. Truly I thank them but I also respect the way they conduct their business. Five stars plus.!!!!

A leaking gas valve forced the gas company to shut off my heat two days before Thanksgiving. Mr. Rooter was able to send someone to replace the valve the next day. Anthony did a great job, and I don’t have to worry about any risk of my pipes freezing over the holiday weekend. Reasonably priced as well.

I came home to water all over my first floor. I got in touch with them and two hours later I had a technician out diagnosing the problem. Quentin was so kind and explained everything to me. He even re-explained it to my fiancé on the phone (making sure I wasn’t getting over sold). He fixed the issue in a matter of a couple hours and cleaned up! I am so thankful for them.

I had a small leak behind wall in my bathroom. I called Mr Rooter and within hour and a half of calling on the weekend, someone was at my house. They fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up after. The price was very good for the work done and I was very satisfied. I will never use any other company again. Mr Rooter has a customer for life.

Tony was a great help, explained our water heater problem in simple terms and provided all of our options for repair. He was patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience with Mr. Rooter of Williamsburg. They were prompt, thorough, and fairly priced. They diagnosed the problem with my tankless hot water heater and were able to make the repair the following day (while coming up with a solution to restore my hot water overnight before they could come back to make the permanent fix). I truly appreciate the professionalism of this company and how they treated me as a new customer. I would recommend them to everyone!

We had a bit of an emergency! Our toilet had been 'running' so I tried to turn it off at the valve below the tank, and then the valve began to drip! Because this happened Sunday morning, I was a bit concerned about who/how to get ahold of a plumber, but noticed the Mr Rooter ad, saying they were available 24/7 at no extra cost!!!! No brainer. My neighbor, I noticed, also uses Mr Rooter, which gave me confidence in calling them. Jonny came out in the afternoon and was very friendly, but also very professional. He was able to correct both problems by doing a "rebuild" of the inside of the toilet, as well as replacing the water line and valve below the tank. for which we were truly thankful. Thank you! They seem to work on a 'per job', not 'per hour' basis, which was quoted before he started. We were given a bit of a discount, too, which always helps. Still expensive, but don't think it would have been any less, on a Sunday, using anyone else, and Jonny's job expertise was above and beyond what I've seen from other plumbing companies.

They are a true rip off!!! Each time they over charged me nd now finding out the didn’t replace tank only pressure switch nd look at price they charge nd also check how much additional was on the same crawl space !!This was 2025.. Now fast forward to same time but 2026 was called out to check same pipe from warranty nd was denied saying same pipe but different spot!!He claimed the difference on the high crawl space price because it was soaking wet but you all see clearly that I had a sub pump sucked all water out 3 hrs before they even arrived.And Yes I’m working wit attorney now to take out civil suit against them.Hope this doesn’t happen to you!!!🥵🥵🥵

Boswell is our 'go-to' plumbing company. After 20+ years of living in Williamsburg, Rich and his team have proven to be fair, fast, and quality focused.

Had very bad leak in toilet going through the ceiling of the front hall. Called them at 1pm today and their guys arrived at 1:20, fixed the leak and were done by 1:40. Great service, very nice guys and dog lovers too! Can't rave enough about this company. They also maintain our heating and cooling.

They came in and did an in-home estimate, and we agreed that they would come back with a cost estimate for the job the same week. They never did. I called them again the next week, and they promised that they would send over the esitmate the next day. They never did. Four or five times i contacted them and assured them that we were very interested in hiring them for the job as soon as we had a cost estimate. Each time they promised to get back to me, but they never did. Very unprofessional, and certainly not they way to treat a prospective customer. Needless to say, we had to take our business elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Their price's are in line with other companies. Their customer service and workmanship exceeded my expectations. Rich and his crew were polite, neat and personable. They showed up when they were suppose to. How refreshing ! Boswell Plumbing & Heating Inc.will always be my contractor of choice.

Do not use Boswell! This summer my wife and I have redone our entire house. We have had tons of contractors in and out and have some wonderful experiences. From the moment the gentleman from Boswell came into my home I was uncomfortable. Our interaction began with him taking a tone with me because he did not have the garbage disposal that we ordered with him. We offered to go to the store to get one instead and he said that he would not install it so we would have to wait an hour for another representative to come with one. He truly acted as if we were inconveniencing him and walked around our house muttering under his breath.

Eventually we realized that we needed to run to Lowes to get something for the install. When I asked him to move his car he grumpily said "I guess I'll have to do that too then." He quickly changed his behavior when the other gentleman from Boswell arrived, but the experience was already tense and awful.

The worst part of all of this was that after they let we noticed one of the 5 faucets they installed is dripping. I called back assuming we just needed to let them know and they would help. NOPE! He wanted $130 to come and look at it, when only yesterday I paid over $600 to have it installed. He would not even entertain our plea to help us and then laughed and said "go ahead and contact the Better Business Burea. I already have an A+ rating and go ahead and write reviews." So I am writing a review because I am completely disgusted by the way this has been handled. There are lots of plumbers in Williamsburg. I hope that people take heed of this warning and research their plumbers more carefully than we did!

About three weeks ago, I got a new gas stove for my kitchen. I was referred to Boswell to have a gas line installed. When I called them, I spoke to a woman who said she would give the technician my message and he would call me back. At 5 pm that day, he called me and told me that they do installs and that they're fairly quick. I told him I would call him back when I could set up a time to have them come out and install.

I have been trying to set up a day for Boswell to come and install a natural gas line in my home for a little over two weeks now. When I call their main line, I talk to some woman who says she'll relay the message to the technician, and the technician will call me back with a time. I have called twice over these past few weeks, and have not gotten a single call back. I do not recommend them.

Technician was very kind and provided excellent service on my kitchen plumbing disconnect and reconnect project.
