Marlon and his team (Reynaldo and Hector) were incredible to work with! Prices were fair and the work performed was of the highest quality. I had my kitchen remodeled, several areas painted, a wonky wall fixed, and storm door installed. I would highly recommend Duran Contracting!

When i called them i wanted to renovate my home, and when they where renovating my 80 year old grandma with rabies got some dust in her eyes and her nose and she had trouble breathing, and they broke my mirror by supposedly an “accident” and i had to pay extra, and then afterwards the designs looks terrible and didn’t match my white walls and when i was walking around my house, there where pieces of shards stabbing my foot and had to get surgery for the removal, terrible job, y’all are some bad boys

The Duran Contracting team are extremely professional, skilled, personable, kind, and were communicative throughout the kitchen remodel process. Great attention to detail and also to design. I hadn't thought about removing a wall but agreed to their suggestion and wow! A massive and beautiful difference that I get to enjoy every day.

I was especially impressed with the team assigned to our remodel. It is a testament to the quality standards of the owners of the company. Highly recommend!

We worked with Duran contracting for a full house remodel. Kitchen, wine room, doors, trim, floors, paint, lighting, bedroom, and bathroom. This was a big project. We knocked down walls to create a large combined kitchen and dining area. We created a fully temperature and humidity regulated wine storage area. And with inspections and the ordering process it took more than 12 months to complete from when we started design to when we finished.

We were very nervous taking on such a large project so to begin we only were planning to do the kitchen. But as it progressed we added everything simply because we trusted them, we saw that the work was high quality, and the professionalism was beyond reproach. Having a team of professionals in your house almost daily for 6 full months - this could have been really bad. It wasn't. Everyone we had on site were completely professional and respectful - working within the schedule we agreed to and leaving the space safe and clean everyday.

We competitively bid this out with help from our design team (Shea Studio Interiors - also AWESOME!). There price was very competitive and the flexibility and fairness in how they handle change orders made the choice obvious. Projects like this always have bumps in the road. EVERYTIME we had a question or an issue with something it was addressed without hesitation or added cost. Marlon (the owner) is as honest and honorable a man as you will find. His communication and project management were outstanding ensuring we always knew where we were with all necessary project management details - personally checking in with us at our home at least weekly but during busy times DAILY.

Obviously - Duran contracting has my highest recommendation. I could explain more but I think the pictures of the work speak for themself. If you have a project you want completed - big or small - you won't be disappointed. Our house literally looks like it belongs in a magazine because of Duran Contracting's (and Shea Studios) outstanding work.

Fantastic family-owned and family-run company. Painted the interior of my entire house, updated recessed lighting, and cosmetic electrical work. Started on time every day, finished project ahead of schedule, treated my home with care, and did a beautiful job. Crew is highly skilled and friendly. Did extra small jobs around the house for me without charge. Owner is easy to work with and very fair. Price is reasonable. Sons on site daily and do a great job managing and problem-solving. Will definitely use them for my next project.

Our realtor recommended Duran Contracting initially just for a few small projects to get us ready to list our home for sale. We started with a whole house powerwash, a storm door install and some paint touch-up. Prices appeared high average at first, but then I saw ALL that they did - exterior caulking on three levels (nearly 4,000 SQ. feet), trim paint touch-up, door alcove build-out, drywall repair, and every little detail attended to (in-scope or not) to get things just right. They were now a bargain for work of the highest quality!
I am the daughter of a (late) general contractor and in my 6th decade of life and I have never encountered a contractor this skilled, detail-oriented, professional, generous, fair-priced and kind as the father-son team lead by son, Sebastian, on our project - not in Northern Virginia and not anywhere else in the country for that matter.
We went wild and added several change orders extending an initial two-day project into several days over two weeks to include electrical, plumbing, full-room painting, cabinet repair and more.
They even helped us with packing and moving our boxes and furniture when we were running out of time and one of their projects was delayed by a day.
The results speak for themselves. Neighbors visited our home and were stunned by the like new condition and quality of work. They have already spoken to Sebastian and may start their own projects soon. Our one regret is that we can't take Sebastian and his team to our new out-of-state home to do a renovation there.

Marco and his team are incredible, timely and reasonably priced. We’ve had them come out to work on repair and repainting of rake boards and facie boards. Very professional and the work product is excellent!

I have used Marco and his crew at least three times over the past three years to do everything from a complete rework of our basement, no thanks to another contractor that ripped it up and disappeared, to re-grouting out shower. He did a great job replacing carpeted stairs with vinyl, painting an entire room, installation of ceiling fans and replacement of toilets in our home. There really isn't a job that he cannot do and he works with a hard working crew. Highly recommend using him if you want things done right without the worry of him taking too long or walking away from the job.

Marco has done several jobs for me in the past few years. He has replaced 2 bad ceilings, renovated a bathroom, put down hardwood flooring, and framed and drywalled a closet. I appreciate the fact that he is professional and shows up when he says he will and works consistently all the time he is on the job. His prices are very reasonable, and he is also great at adapting as I am terrible about adding to the job I originally hired him to do! Fortunately, he always accommodates me! My daughter has also used him for several jobs, and he has become my “go to” contractor whenever I need something done in my house. I definitely recommend him.

I totally recommend Marco and his team. Their work is very good and reasonably priced. Marco responds to texts right away and shows up on time. We have used him for various home improvement jobs including a new bathroom and front patio. You will not be disappointed with the work.

Hired Marcos to turn 2 bathrooms into 1 big bathroom. Him and his guys done such amazing work that I ended up having them redo my whole kitchen. New floors repainted cabinets new countertops and sink. Done such amazing work there had new floors put in living room and whole inside of house painted. All beautiful work for a reasonable price. So reasonable that had them come back and paint the outside of my house and garage. Looks Brand new all the guys very nice especially lead man Henry shout out to him. Thanks to them all.

Marco and his team done an excellent job working on bathroom. Build a ceramic shower enclosure, install new commode, painted the complete bathroom. Marco and his team takes pride in there work, also they do a great job in cleaning up what they are working on. I would recommend them to anyone. I would use there services again.

We especially appreciated the ability for us to purchase materials from any source (tile, grout, fixtures, etc). You'd think this would be standard in the industry, but it seems to be quite difficult to find a contractor that will allow this. Most want to control the material purchases which usually drives up the cost.

What makes this company stand out from the rest is their project scheduling and execution. Complete renovation of two bathrooms with a lot of moving parts . I can't imagine the headache of trying to plan everything ourselves. If you want a seamless transition from demo to plumbing to tile work, there is no better choice than J&M Restoration LLC.

I had a major leak affecting both my shower pan and standing tub, which caused significant damage to my bathroom. I called them and Marco came out right away and did an outstanding job. Despite the extent of the damage, they had my entire bathroom fully restored within just a week. The quality of work and attention to detail were top notch. Highly recommend!

Excellent, organized, clean, flexable and efficient. Jose did really good work on our remodeling project. Added a new sub panel and wiring for a new addition. The workmanship was above and beyond what was required. The wiring is very organized, each wire is hand labeled for its specific function/location at the box and switches. Jose is also a genuinely nice person. Our kids (4,8, 10) loved him, as he always made a point to talk to them he he came to our home. Highly recommended for projects large and small.
