Simply amazing people and very friendly ❤️

I had the same experience as the other 1-star reviews. What a nightmare dealing with this company was. Never again.

Felt like I've been hoodwinked. Given an estimate of 6300k + 1300k for yard mulch work. Final bill over 10000k. In the process destroyed two trees and a organic herb garden. Does not respond to my emails. Promised to come out and look at trees but never has. In our first meeting I was encouraged that finally I had found an honest landscaper on the island. How wrong I was.

Had the most amazing experience with Island Details. They did all of our container garden, built raised rock beds to disguise our septic tanks, gorgeous cobble stone pathways, and planted cherry blossoms for a family members memorial. They came under budget and all the staff were always respectful! Thanks again will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know!!

We had a very similar experience as the other 1-star reviews we have now seen. I would describe this company as incredibly disrespectful, incompetent, and predatory.

We initially hired island details when we moved to the island. We were convinced by them to spend extra at the beginning for a "clean up" and then an ongoing maintenance schedule. Fortunately, someone was at the house during many of the ongoing maintenance visits. We discovered that we were not receiving the time on site that we were paying for! Often only two hours with two people who worked slowly while we were paying for 8 man-hours on-site at each visit. When we spoke to the company we were told that yes that is true and that they that closely monitor their trucks with GPS, the banked time would be used for the fall "clean up". Had we not confronted the company I am sure they would never have said anything.  Fall came around and despite paying for maintenance all year, our yard did not look good! This was because they were not adequately doing the maintenance job they were being paid for.

At the time of the fall "clean up" I met with her crew and it was clear they did not receive much direction or supervision. After one day we were texted that it was going to take more time to finish the work and that the crew would be back tomorrow. We never approved additional time or agreed to any expenditure beyond our maintenance agreement with which they failed to perform.  We were out of town and could not respond or review the work. The crew proceeded to work for three more days. We were under the understanding that this work was to be completed under the time we had already paid for and had been "banked".  They worked for three days without our approval or a contract and then tried to bill us for almost 4 grand for the additional work! Work that wouldn't have been needed if they had done it as scheduled.

When we spoke about this issue the company refused to compromise on the bill in order to reach a fair agreement for the work that was done. The owner was very rude! At one point saying "this is what it costs to take care of houses on the island." "Most of her clients would never complain about a bill like this." and "that some of our plants had needed specialists that required a much higher rate",  "If we can't afford to take care of the house then we may be living beyond our means" and she has seen "kids from Seattle move here before and not understand what it takes to maintain a property on the island". It became clear that she thought she could just take advantage of us.

Avoid this company at all costs. We have since found a great company, and not had any of these issues.

Diane and her crew were great. They were able to get our old fountain working again and really made our yard better than I've seen it in years.

Dian is knowledgeable, kind, and has an incredible crew who captured my heart as they transformed my yard into an oasis on my somewhat limited budget. Island Details is ten stars out of five! Whether your yard is extravagant or simple, I would trust these folks.

Great expwrtise and service. We asked for recommendations, followed them, and now the yard looks great, has held up well over a few years, is low maintenance and we are very pleased.

Very conscientious, meticulous and excellent craftsman ship on a fence he built for us. We get complemented on it often. Plan to work with him on multiple projects in the future. Highly recommend.

We Contacted Green Thumb Solutions last year to reconfigure our irrigation system and to get some suggestions on revitalizing our lawn. Nisan from Green Thumb not only improved our irrigation system, but modified it to use less water with better results in our landscaping. Our lawn turned out beautifully and has been the envy of all our friends this summer. Nisan was responsive and responsible in every step of our project. He wanted to know exactly how we envisioned the project and he made it work. He also came up with some creative solutions and, on his own and free of charge, added some beautiful custom touches. We’ll beyond what we could have expected!

Nisan resurfaced our crumbling deck and was terrific to work with. His attention to detail was impressive; he did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. We love the new deck and look forward to engaging him on other landscaping projects going forward. Highly recommend.

I called Green Thumb Solutions when my sprinkler system developed a leak at the junction with the main water line. Nisan came out promptly on the same day I called him. He had all the parts with him needed to make the repairs. Nisan did a very professional repair job and my problem was solved. Would I use him again? Absolutely and without hesitation.! My basement and garage flooded during recent heavy rains. I called Green Thumb Solutions and Nisan came out an hour later to take a look. We walked around, and he explained some options, showing me examples on his phone.

I really appreciated that he encouraged me to do some more research to figure out what I actually wanted instead of pushing me on a particular solution.

Once we decided on a plan, he was quick to arrive and execute on it, asking questions as he went and making suggestions. He even took away a bunch of yard waste I'd been slowly disposing of in my bi-weekly bin for no charge.
He kept me informed on how we were tracking toward the initial estimate and how a few changes I'd requested would impact it.

When he was finished, he walked me through what he'd done, told me how to seed the new topsoil to bring back grass, and gave me some general tips on how to improve my lawn when I asked, rather than proposing some major overhaul.

I couldn't be happier with the work he did and the professionalism and care he showed.

I called Nisan about a huge, non-functioning fountain in our yard. Within one hour, he made time to stop by our house and was able to get the fountain running again within less than ten minutes and for no charge. He also gave me very good, free advice about maintaining the fountain. Would absolutely recommend Nisan and Green Thumb Solutions.

Nisan's work is always 100% quality, and at a reasonable price. He has done wood work in my house, built me a fence, has done landscaping, all with the skill of a master craftsman.

You won't find anyone who delivers better quality work.

Nissan and his crew are consistently great. He is knowledgeable about plants and landscaping, as well as construction. This summer he cleared our yard and built a beautiful picket fence. It is the best made and most attractive fence we have ever had. He works hard, charges fair, and cleans up well afterward.

My yard looks great thanks to Nisan and his crew. Even though it was just a simple lawn mowing job and clean up some bushes, the yard always looks well groomed. And his crew cleaned up a few bushes and areas at no extra charge. His rates are reasonable. They're fast and efficient. Him and his crew are friendly and personable. We're keeping him on retainer to continue with yard maintenance.

Nisan is a meticulous craftsman who is dependable, prompt, hard working, and very experienced. He built a fence for us that is sturdy, functional, esthetically pleasing and reasonably priced. He was a pleasure to work with. We are getting complements already.
