After talking with several contractors in this daunting pursuit of building my ADU, I chose RG Construction Services, LLC because they handled every aspects of the build from giving me a price range to chose from for the ADU itself, an estimate of the extra cost that may be incurred during the process, handling the permitting process with the city, hiring other tradesman, scheduling, building, helping with design and communication with me throughout the process including scheduled payment as the build progressed. I had a great design team that listened and open to what I wanted/needed in my ADU once I chose my basic home design/size and a contact person I could call with questions (Hannah, Krista, Betsey, Allison, Andrea, Linnea). Once the city gave its approval several months down the road, I had a great supervisor to work with (Brandon) who made sure we talked or texted daily and I understood what to expect as the build proceeded! This was a long and learning process but the results and cost was worth it, thanks to the rest of the team including Richard, Ronald, Sergio, Nick, Roza, Erik and anyone I did not name!

We had RG Construction perform two jobs for us. One interior was floor to ceiling shelving along our fireplace, It turned out beautifully We also had RG Construction build an exterior patio cover which is one of the most professionally done and nicest looking we have seen. That patio cover designed and constructed by RG construction has "class." Everyone who sees it loves it. The company owner, Richard Garrett and his staff, and his staff are terrific to work with. They stay in touch. They developed a plan and stuck with it. I fully recommend them because of what they did for us.

Stuck with us through the Covid pandemic - quickly updated schedules and kept us abreast of upcoming delays. They tracked our schedule and budget in their handy online dashboard so we could check on progress.
We had a couple unique asks (concrete floors, underfloor heating, toe kick cabinet drawers) and they bent over backward to get it done right.

To speak to their quality, when asked about a 1 week delay on the concrete floors, they noted they were not satisfied with the quality of the first pour and were in the process of tearing it up (on their dime) and getting a second bid. The end result is a fantastic beautiful concrete floor that my wife loves.

They were also the pinnacle of professionalism addressing any changes in scope or outstanding concerns without any pushback or complaint. Sometimes even coming back after the job for touch ups upon request. It was a very refreshing experience. Thank you RG and look forward to working with you on any of our future projects!

It is difficult to know where to begin in describing the wonderful experience we had working with R.G. Construction. We live in a 1940 ish farm house and to put it mildly, it was “creatively” built and the equally creatively “remodeled” in the 70’s. It was tired when we moved in and when we raised our kids here, we killed it the rest of the way. When we began our efforts to fix it, we prayed to be guided to GOOD people, that we could trust with our money, and would help us achieve our goals. From our first visit with Richard we knew RG was the company to use. From Design to finish we worked with WONDERFUL people. They helped us every step of the way. The Subs they sent to our home and the RG1 team are the best you could ask for. Remodeling a home with such huge issues is no small thing, and sharing your home with the construction team for months could have been a nightmare. We honestly enjoyed the process. It was a pleasure to welcome such good people to our home every day. And we are beyond grateful for all they have done for us. It is truly a blessing to live in a home that is good as new (if not better) from top to bottom. We are grateful that the RG team accepted the Challenge that WAS our home and made it so incredibly beautiful inside and out.

I was super pleased with my experience  working with RG Construction. I wanted to add almost 500 square feet to our home and remodel our main bathroom. In the addition we added a kitchenette, full bath, small lounge area and bedroom. Thanks to Richard Garrett, I was able to accomplish this. I love my addition.  The walk out shower is so practical  and beautiful.

I have been involved in a number of construction projects during the past years, so I can compare my different experiences. What stood out to me about Richard is his positive "can do" attitude, his desire to make the client happy and willingness to fix any problem with the clients happiness in mind. A lot of builders do Not have these qualities.  Richard is easy to work with.  His wife Beth is also very helpful and easy to work with. I find their honesty so refreshing.

The quality of  work was what I had hoped for and it is hard to find this quality of craftmanship today. Richard and his company wanted to keep you informed on the cost of your project right from the beginning.  They don't want you to  be surprised by extra costs at the end of the project. Again, this is a quality that is hard to find today.

We are very happy with the ADU that RG Construction built in our backyard! It’s a great live-in music studio for my son and will serve as a wonderful future mother-in-law house for me:)

I highly recommend Richard and his team because they were professional, conscientious and pleasant. They provided full-service support through all the phases of the project. Most importantly they listened to our ideas, needs and vision of the design. All of the interactions were positive and helpful. Anytime I had a question or concern, Jon (site superintendent) and Dana (client relations) responded promptly. The coordination and management of the subcontractors was impressive.

The process of selecting a construction company was extensive, it involved a lot of research and speaking with previous customers. However, the congenial nature of the receptionist was the most compelling component. The whole staff worked diligently to make our dream house come to fruition.

We are truly satisfied with the finished building and would hire them again for future projects.

We’ve had several contractors over the years for different projects, ranging from small to medium. Most of these turned out to be negative experiences, and we’re pretty pessimistic anymore when engaging with companies for projects like this.

We engaged with RG Probuilders just over a year ago to create a small space on our property where my Mom could live as she ages. We were unable to finish the project and recently had to cancel the engagement due to family circumstances changing.

However, we’ve never had a better experience. RG has a defined process for success, and it simply works. From the initial consultation, to the design phase, to the project getting off of the ground, RG was a trusted advisor throughout the entire process.

- Initial consultation was friendly, they asked a lot of questions and really worked to understand our needs and how best to meet them.

- Design phase and team – were fantastic throughout, and incredibly knowledgeable. They were patient with us as we worked through this phase and even changed the plan at one point once property maps and constraints became clear.

- Final presentation and walk through of options – included pros and cons, the team was there to guide us, again as trusted advisors and partners in the project, as if it were a personal project for their own team.

When we signed on to the final plans and they began the work with the county they were incredibly communicative, including for long periods of time when the county was silent and doing their work in the background. They handled everything, from required community meetings/feedback to soil testing, etc.

All of the above was what you should expect from a contractor, and they delivered above and beyond. But the real surprise came recently when we had to cancel the project. Without being asked they did what they could to alleviate the financial burden of the work that had been done, including taking the long-shot opportunity to request refunds from the county. They took these steps, on their own behalf, without being asked. It has been a very long time, if ever, that I have worked with a company that treats you as a human being and shows care for the work they do, as well as the customer that they do the work for. You would be remiss to use anyone else for your next construction project.

As always, RG Construction delivered us a superior quality home filled with our personal touches that will last a lifetime. Every individual on the RG Team is a pleasure to work with, and we'd like to give a special recognition to Joey who supervised the construction and continues to deliver over-the-top service to this day! We would be happy to recommend RG Construction for any building project or dream you may have.

We used RG construction to build an approximately 1800 SF horse barn on our property. They took the concept from design and budget to building it and everything in between. The stress of the project was very low for me. I was in constant contact with the superintendent and he was present on the jobsite daily. Communication was very good. Overall I am pleased with the end result, the cost, and just my overall experience. They continue to respond to questions I have and stand by their work 100%. Would definitely use them again.

Update: we used RG construction a second time for a kitchen remodel and some other improvements to our house incl laundry room relocation, flooring, and reside/paint all at the same time. Very smooth process and excellent communication. There were some hiccups but each issue was fully addressed and the team communicated well. When someone is in your house for months working and receiving large amounts of money from you, you want to feel like every detail is being communicated because that’s your money and your investment in your home. Also each day work continues is a day you’re not in your home. I felt good about the communication (and transparency) throughout the process. And of course the workmanship and end result was to my standards and in many ways exceeded my expectations. Already planning for a third project with Richard and the team! Definitely would recommend.

We had a great experience with RG in a new construction of an ADU in my backyard for my parent. Great communication overall, very friendly and accommodating staff, flexible to meet our needs, rapidly addressed any concerns/issues, and (once the permits were done) very quick and beautiful work! My parent and I are both very happy and would be happy to work with RG on other projects in the future. Staff also included very kind touches along the way, including a final gift basket which was very thoughtful and directly tailored to our family.

RG has now completed two large projects for me, a new 800sqft ADU (completed Dec 2024), and a +3000sqft renovation (completed Dec 2025). If I have any projects in the future, Richard and his team at RG are my first choice (and should be yours too).

For both projects, they managed every part with professionalism and expertise. Betsy and Hannah helped us design our new spaces within budget and soooo beautifully (thank you). The finishes Betsy and team chose for our spaces are high quality (not “builder-grade” junk). Nate was an excellent super, along with Ethan and the rest of his crew, managing each sub with professionalism ensuring they completed on time and the highest quality. Larry stepped in when any problems arose (remodeling a 100 year old house means you’re inevitably going to discover issues), handling each issues with our best interest (and budget) in mind. Both projects were finished on time (ADU was a month early), permitted without pushback, and within budget.

RG was honest with their pricing through both projects. They didn’t land the projects with a low bid and then change order us up; they delivered exactly what they quoted.

Go with RG if you want honesty, professionalism and high quality construction at a competitive price.

The home renovation that they completed is hard to believe that our 100 year old cottage turned into such a beautiful new home (see pictures).

When it comes to construction and dealing with contractors it’s usually a huge pain. Therefore it’s a breath of fresh air when you work with Exodus. They do good work, complete projects on time and charge a fair amount. I especially recommend them for fence builds.

Exodus construction are the real deal! They do quality work at a great price. The decks and fences they build are beautiful. Recommend to anyone needing a new fence or deck!

Hired these guys to rebuild my parents deck (basically just built them a whole new one) after I saw the quality of work they did on the neighbors fence. They did not disappoint! I highly recommend Exodus Construction & Remodeling if you're looking for efficient, high quality fence and deck work! It was easy to schedule a quote and they stuck to it and got it done faster than I expected.

Joe and his crew worked a 12 hour day and got my entire fence project done and stained. They even removed trees that were in the way. Excellent work and all for a fair price. I would definitely work with him again!
