Constraction reviews in Bellevue, Washington

Mario and his team are pros. We have used them multiple times at many houses along the way. Always come with an excellent finished product and troubleshoot problems efficiently. They can literally do it all. Plumbing, Electrical, Tiles, Flooring, Paint, Appliances, Decking, Repairs, Remodels, the list goes on. If anything is not up to expectations they are quick and responsive to remedy. Never will I use another team. Thanks!!!

The F&M team worked very hard and provided us with great value. We got a beautiful bathroom remodel of which we are very proud. The management team are perfectionists who are very concerned about customer satisfaction.

F&M Construction did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen. We had a very constrained timetable and they were able to make it work and deliver an outstanding kitchen remodel. Professional, on-time, on-budget. Highly recommended.

Identified major rot issue after replacing my roof. Roofing company wouldn’t do the repairs necessary so hired F&M Construction to remove cedar siding and rip out and replace all rot in framing along with miscellaneous rot throughout the exterior. Team did a great job at restoring our house. They also followed up several months later after all the heavy rain and snow storms to make sure no problems with their work. Have asked them for quotes on some other projects as well that we are considering. Thanks F&M.

Recently, I hired this company for a remodeling work, which includes deck, entrance porch, front door, garage doors, and window frames.
They have provided very professional services, excellent quality, and reasonable price!
Owner Mario was very knowledgeable in his field. At the beginning, he patiently explained how the project would be done and reasons for doing so. Afterwards, he closely managed the project process – its quality and progress. At the end, he and I did a thoroughly walkthrough, identified some remaining problems. The next day, he sent his crew to fix all of them and made me satisfied fully.
Jorge was very responsive and did a great work in project coordination - scheduling, accounting, and communication.
The whole crew worked very hard to get the work done in a fast, effective, and clean way before the arrival of heavy raining season. The company even offers second walkthrough six months after the completion of the project to quarantine job quality.
I have been really impressed by this company’s work ethic and craftmanship. and strongly recommend it.

Pros: F&M Construction completed a garage renovation for us and we are very happy with the results. They were professional, hard-working, and responsive to requests during the project. They also followed-up afterward to ensure we were completely satisfied.
Cons: Getting an initial estimate for the project took much longer than it should have, but I'm glad we were patient with them in the end. Once we had the estimate, things moved quickly which was nice.

Mario and his team did an amazing job on our basement remodel. From start to finish, the team performed quality work, stuck to their budget, and finished ahead of schedule. They checked in regularly to make sure we were happy, and when unexpected issues came up (as they do working in old houses), they were quick to work with us to figure out solutions. Overall, we could not be more happy with the finished product.

He was a very rude in person, I requested for a couple of changes to the remodel. I didn't know what he was thinking he took an extra 3 weeks to do those changes. very untimely and rude to family members using profanity.

Mario and his team at F & M construction were real lifesavers. They worked within a specific time frame, finished their jobs on time, and have a group of multiple skilled subs that do dependable and quality work. They have worked for my daughter (who gave me his contact), my best friend, and have done major remodelling, design, engineering, siding, roofing, decks, gutters, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing and everything well. I have other projects for them. The hallmarks are: On time, reasonable fees, no bait and switch, honest, and dependability at the highest level. I make my recommendations without reservations and truly appreciated working with his crews.

They have remodeled one bathroom and build another bathroom in our house. They are very professional. They have done a great job overall. They finished their project on time as promised. They also charged us the amount that was proposed on their bid. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired F&M for several relatively small remodels for our house (garage, home gym, driveway improvements), which has now gotten us comfortable to work with them on a much larger project this winter. This is a hard working team with a lot of pride in ownership of their work. Don't expect them to always be the cheapest, but the quality and attention to detail has left my wife and I happy to continue to work with them. I have no concerns to recommend them to friends/family (or on Google : ).

I can’t recommend F&M Construction and Mario highly enough! Over the past few years, we have engaged them for multiple home improvement projects, including gutting our entire first floor, remodeling our kitchen, moving walls, redoing the exterior, and remodeling our bedrooms. Each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the start, they have consistently delivered outstanding work, completing every project on time and within budget, which is a rarity in the industry.

The quality of craftsmanship is top-notch; every detail is executed with precision and care. Mario and his team are not only professional and reliable, but they also communicate effectively throughout the process, ensuring we were always informed and involved in decision-making. Whether it was a small renovation like our bedroom or a large remodel of our entire first floor, they approached each task with the same level of dedication and expertise.

If you're looking for a contractor who values quality, manages timelines effectively, and respects your budget, look no further than F&M. We will definitely continue to work with them for all our future home projects!

We’ve completed over $200,000 worth of projects with F&M, including a bathroom remodel, a laundry room upgrade, a large back deck project with a roof extension, skylights, and patio, a pocket door installation, hardwood flooring across our entire downstairs, and several painting projects. Overall, F&M is a good company with excellent craftsmanship, and we fully intend to work with them again.

The quality of their work is outstanding. They use premium materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. They also stand by their work; for example, they returned a year later to adjust a dryer vent that needed attention. Their care for your home during projects is exceptional. They are meticulous about protecting carpets and sealing off rooms to minimize dust. They also pay great attention to detail—when a wall requires work, they repaint the entire wall to ensure a seamless finish.

The main areas where F&M could improve are in administration and communication. There has been significant turnover in their office staff, which has occasionally led to inconsistent processes. The estimation process, in particular, can be inconsistent—at times, it is smooth and efficient, but other times it takes longer than anticipated, with some missed timelines for providing quotes. That said, once the work is scheduled, their execution is always quick and highly professional, which we greatly appreciate.

F&M’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction makes them a company we trust for our projects. While there is room for improvement in their administrative processes, their craftsmanship and dedication to standing by their work more than make up for it. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them.

We had a great experience with Mario and the FM crew. Started with a deck remodel which turned out perfect. They even dug out the old Cedar tree stump that was under the original deck.
While they were working on the deck I asked them about raising our living room to eliminate the step. The time and attention to detail was terrific. Plan to work with them again.

We have had several projects done by F&M Construction and they've always done high-quality work at a competitive price. The F&M team is a joy to work with and are responsive to our schedule and needs.

F&M Construction is fabulous to work with. Reasonable pricing and great communication along with stellar artistry mean we will work with them again for sure! They did a beautiful job on a top to bottom renovation of our condo. on Whidbey Island.

I met Mario when he was subcontracted on a major remodel of my home 15 years ago. His company did all the siding, roofing and painting. All work still looks great. His company has grown a ton since then. Last year I used them for deck repair/ painting and shed demolition. They do a great job at a good price, very happy with them. Strongly recommend F&M.

We have used F&M Construction for two projects. We are very pleased with the high quality of work that Mario and his crew have done. They have always been professional, respectful of our premises, and great to work with. They were collaborative and provided many helpful suggestions and solutions throughout the course of our projects. They are excellent partners to work with and we highly recommend them.

Our first project was a complete kitchen remodel all the way down to the floor joists, wall framing and ceiling rafters. Our house is 80 years old and Mario and his crew were adept at addressing the unique challenges and unexpected discoveries that arose during the renovation process. Mario and his crew handled the entire construction from start to finish. This included new flooring, insulation, drywall, windows, cabinet installation, and painting. They did a great job and we plan to use them again on future projects.

The second time we engaged Mario was to deal with water damage restoration at another house. Mario was able to provide a crew ASAP and they replaced drywall, flooring, a bathroom vanity, and did all the painting. The crew once again was prompt, efficient, and very respectful of the property. They did a great job and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Mario and company!

We are very fortunate to have a neighbor who has made fantastic recommendations for basically anything you need for your home. When we asked if he had anyone who did remodeling, he immediately mentioned Mario and his crew from F&M.

Our initial need was to have our kitchen windows completely reframed and replaced. The windows were old and close to leaking. The framing was rotting and it was only a matter of time. Mario and his team discussed not only replacing the windows, but redesigning the whole kitchen window space. Larger windows, an elevated ceiling/roof line to hold recessed lighting over the workspace and sink, and even creating a pitched roof overhang to protect the area. Additionally, they installed gutters which tied into our preexisting downspouts . I’m including before and after pictures because the after blows away the before and we are extremely pleased with the results.

The kitchen was our must do but because they did such a great job on it, we discussed with them our wish list item. We have always wanted a covered outdoor living space where we could spend time outdoors year round. Again, F&M came up with an idea that not only gave us this space but also created a second story sun deck that ties into our 2nd floor master bedroom and bathroom. The crew installed double joists for half the roofline and installed the proper electrical to host a small hot tub if we ever choose to go that route. It has the weight capacity to hold it and the proper electrical to plug it into. Again, it’s the creativity and sensibility that ultimately gave us something beyond what we were expecting. It’s absolutely beautiful and with the ceiling heating inserts we can attest it’s warm out there no matter how cold it gets.

We cannot recommend Mario and his crew enough. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything they’ve accomplished.

On a final note, the other little detail that goes a long way is their cleanliness. When you’re having your kitchen windows redone and you’re exposed, it can get messy with dust and debris. Everyday the crew vacuumed and picked up everything which made a huge difference!

Working with F&M on our major remodel, house addition, and DADU was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Mario and his team didn’t just build for us, they guided us, supported us, and made the entire journey feel exciting from day one.

From the design phase to permitting to construction, everything felt smooth and stress free. They walked us through every step, offered smart design advice, and handled the permitting process like true pros.

Once construction started, it honestly became the highlight of our week. Watching the project come to life was amazing, and the weekly meetings kept us informed, involved, and confident. The communication was constant, clear, and genuinely caring, you can tell they love what they do.

The craftsmanship, the organization, the professionalism, the energy… everything was top‑tier.

We HIGHLY recommend F&M Construction. If you want a team that treats your project like their own and makes the whole experience enjoyable, this is the company. We’ll absolutely be using them again for future projects.
